Ahhhh, Robin! Perpetuating the Ed Wood "hubcap" legend!! It was actually the Lindberg Flying Saucer kit that was also the very first science fiction model kit: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_TGS61dlat8U/S_k3XX_z0sI/AAAAAAAACoU/vt8JFmc5X1Q/s1600/Saucer+03.jpg

Thanks, Robin and Graham!

Nice! Now when are you going to get around to a Kaiju movie or two? 'Latitude Zero' perhaps? Caesar Romero doing a test run of 'Joker' personae just doesn't get old.

Yeay! I'm ready to take a lucky dip into your bag of unwanted DVDs, especially if they're signed by the Dark Lords! I've got an all zones player, so that's not a problem. Raffle them, auction them, sell them as Mystery Boxes....

Great video. I did like how quickly Robin answered 'Ganjasauras Rex'

I actually interviewed the director of Ganjasaurus Rex over email. As far as I'm aware, it's the first interview with her on the subject. Read it out on episode 18 of the 'A 3-Bean Salad' podcast, genuinely made me feel much more sympathetic towards the filmmakers, even if I'd still agree it's a pretty dire film.

Oh wow! All three questions answered--but so sorry about not-Christmas, Robin. I actually love Bill Bryson, though. And Graham, great pick with Igor!

Anne Lamott, who's been a professional writer for a million years at this point, says she's still paranoid every time she starts a project that she's going to do her shitty first draft and then get in a car accident, and people will find it and read it and realize her mind is shot and make her get a job at the phone company.

There is one question I do have for Robin. If one of your books were to be made into a movie, who would you want to play Amelia Evans?

Tough one. Honestly, I'd want an unknown actress but off the top of my head, maybe Charlotte Ritchie or Anya Taylor-Joy in 5-10 years. I'll let you know if I think of someone else.
