"If that's not your thing" then why the heck are you paying for this Paetron? In a reverse of the question, being forced to sit through 2001's Hannibal (Lecter) broke a girl and I up.

The art for the title card reminds me of Ezra Jack Keat's classic picture book, The Snowy Day. Only, of course, vampires. My date night movie? On my husband's and my second get together, we watched Wicker Man. We ended up married so something must have gone right!

I actually did take a girl to see 'Shadow of the Vampire' as a date. Although didn't get me too far, she was more of a Disney person. Date night movie now would probably something a bit more Sc/Fi or Supernatural. Neither of us like slashers and she is more of a Sc/Fi Fantasy girl. So we find a happy medium. Apparently many people in 1986 had awkward date nights because the poster art for Davis Lynch's 'Blue Velvet' made it look like a romantic film.

My date night horror movie? Got to have strong female lead we can root for, but enough jump scares and gross outs that hugs and cuddles are not out of place. So possibly the first Resident Evil, Alien, Terminator II. If we need silliness then it's Bitch Slap, Raising Arizona, Bunraku or Rocky Horror - where we both singalong and dance. It's amazing the things a little alcohol brings out.
