Crikey, I'm gonna turn into a zombie, someone call Mick Taylor. I can buy Martin Freeman as a Zombie. I watched four years of him in Sherlock. He outdid Benedict Cumberbatch for somnambulism.

I just don't care for Zombie films, but if I were going to watch one, I think that this would be it. It seems to be much more about the non-Zombie characters trying to protect their loved ones than about rotting walking corpses chewing on people.

Zombie flics... Well, at one end we have Zombie Hunter (Danny Trejo picking up pocket money for the weekend and a hero who REALLY wanted to beMad Max), Zombie Stripper (please, don't ask) through Night of the Living Dead, the Zombieland flics, Wyrmwood, Undead etc,up to World War Z. Then there's the various TV series (Walking/Talking/Z Nation/I was etc, etc) So I'd say that this film sits with none of them. It rather reminds me of a Denzel Washington film, 'The Book of Eli'. A road movie with somebody. who is doomed to die, carrying a precious package that must be gotten to safety.
