So, I find jump scares and pranks hilarious; my husband vehemently does not. I showed him the ninja surprise scene, giggling the whole time, and he just said (very Harry-seriously), "That's not funny." Then I noticed he made a point to actually lock the bathroom door for the next few days while he was showering....Tee hee.

The series ran from 2016 to 2019: a 6-episode season, a hiatus when it wasn't certain there would be any more, and then a second and definitively final season of 6 more episodes. It doesn't spoil anything for you to know that the series was indeed recognized at the Emmys, with Phoebe Waller-Bridge receiving awards for the series itself, for her performance, and for writing. As for names: We learn some of them, like Claire, Boo, and Harry. But many important characters' names go permanently unmentioned, like Fleabag herself, Arsehole Guy (I'm not kidding, that's how he's credited), Bus Rodent (the big-toothed pickup last week), and more to come.
