Yay, finally! I've been waiting for this episode, it's my favorite of the season, if not the whole show. I lose it 100% of the time, and I'm excited to watch it with you two.

Such an impactful episode with the hate crime narrative and Toby’s storyline with the Walter. This show does a great job with the political commentary and the witty dialogue, but it is also a master at stirring up the emotions. And yes, Mrs Landingham is a treasure.

Toby's humanity really shone through in this episode. And there really aren't words for the greatness of Mrs. Landingham.

Amazing to watch you guys well up in real time. :)

Yeah, I was watching this one approach with excitement to see your reactions. That sounds slightly sadistic knowing it would make you cry, but you know what I mean!! Also, I don't think it is a spoiler to say that the Christmas episodes under Sorkin became some of the most emotional and brilliant (and Emmy winning for the actors lol).

The cast is an absolute murderer's row of actors, and as the series goes on the guest cast and additions are just as impressive.

Joe and Kevin, you guys are such fun reactors! Usually, the idea of speaking up with personal praise for someone online who I’ve never met would feel pretty uncomfortable (at least to my introverted ass). But, having watched a number of episodes with you now, I want to say that you seem like lovely people with hilarious senses of humor, appreciation for drama, and compassion in your hearts. It took a while for me to become a Patreon patron. I’ve budgeted a certain amount for streaming, so whether I subscribe to a Patreon depends on the shows being watched, which streaming services I’ll need in order to watch along, etc. I found you as the only result for West Wing reactions, and I’m glad I did. Well, you guys went ahead and chose 3 of the top . . . 10? 5?? of shows that I’ve seen of all time — The West Wing, Schitt’s Creek, and Ted Lasso. I came to ALL of those shows after they had ended (or started S2 in Ted’s case), so I feel you as people who are appreciating them in their future. TL;DR Thanks for doing what you’re doing, and since you asked for recommendations . . . have you checked out Our Flag Means Death on HBO Max? It got a ton of hype this past year, and for excellent reasons. Truly another gem.

Youtalkingtome

Thank you! That is really nice of you to say. We haven't watched Our Flag Means Death, but we do love Taiki Waititi and may check it out.

After The West Wing you really start thinking about Christmas in a different way

Not sure if anyone told you guys yet, but Nancy is played by Martin Sheen's daughter.
