The first Bad Movie Bible commentary is on Cannon's Ninja III, the 1984 WTF classic about an aerobics instructing telephone engineer who's possessed by the soul of a ninja assassin out for revenge. I've made a short documentary about this before, and wanted to start on firm ground with a movie there's plenty to talk about.

I can't include the actual movie for copyright reasons, so I've plastered the YouTube video with pictures. If you prefer an audio-only mp3 it should be attached to this post for download.

Joining me is Timon Singh, who's (deep breath) author of the excellent 'Born to Be Bad: Talking to the Greatest Villains in Action Cinema', co-writer and co-producer of 'In Search of the Last Action Heroes', founder of The Bristol Bad Film club and director Bristol's Forbidden Worlds Film Festival.

This is my first go at being the grownup in a commentary, so please forgive the miscellaneous deficiencies. I've got a few ideas to smooth things out in the future but I'm happy with how it went, and really want to thank Ti for taking part, and for being a patron!

Thanks as always,

Rob.

Surprisingly, Ninja III doesn’t seem to be readily available on US streamers. It’s odd. However— My local library had a copy of the Shout Factory blu ray. My library has great taste! Excellent work as usual Rob! Keep doing these.

The Thinking Cat...Former Cthulhu Pofit Neo Normie and Masked fat guy but now a Cat ??

Love this if I could suggest other movies to do commentary on Return of Captain Invincible and Megiddo: The Omega Code 2 as both have really interesting directors who went on to make lots of extremely different movies especially Megiddo as making Turkey Shoot then BMX Bandits is the biggest leap since the Thing to Starman 😸😸
