The game is NOT using/applying Xbox HDR Calibration app settings.

The game has a decent but problematic HDR implementation with an actual Peak HDR Luminance control but not in numerical value, which can go up to 2500 nits.

The problem is that the square patterns offered do not represent the actual in-game luminance, so you can totally ignore it and use the recommended settings/clicks below for your TV.

Dynamic Tone Mapping is also recommended as the game minimum Peak HDR Brightness is over 1.000 nits.

If you have an LG OLED and:

> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:

  • Set HDR slider to: +Max clicks (which is around 2.500 nits);

> you're using HGIG:

  • Set HDR slider to: 0 Clicks (leftmost, which is around 1.200 nits) or +7 clicks (for G3).

If you don't have an LG OLED and:

> you don't have an HGIG option:

  • Set HDR slider to: 0 Clicks (leftmost, which is around 1.200 nits);

> you're using HGIG:

  • Set HDR slider to one of those values and the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits":

The game also provides a regular Brightness control which you can leave to the Default value, as it already represents a balanced exposure/gamma.
