I've acquired a copy of PC Pro issue 11, from September 1995.

Just looking at these issues fills me with nostalgia, so I thought I'd better share it with you fine people.

Especially given Windows 95 came out in August '95. The month this issue was on sale.

Oh the memories... I was still purchasing several Amiga magazines at this time, but occasionally purchasing a PC mag so I could "keep an eye on what was going on in the PC world" - well, that's what I told myself.

Oh man, the memories! From 1994-1997 was premium time for me reading PC magainzes, and for being into DOS and Windows gaming. I got my first "proper" (IBM compatible) PC in 1994 - a 486 DX266Mhz with 4mb RAM and a 2x CDROM, with Dos 6.22 and Win 3.11 for Workgroups. I used to regularly get PC Pro, PC Gamer and PC Format, and sometimes PC Zone and even Personal Computer World as you mentioned - I had several of the specific issues you showed covers of! I mostly chose for the cover disks as I wasn't yet connected to the internet, but I always spent hours scouring over the magazine content as well - slavering over hardware and software I couldn't afford. Later upgraded to a (second hand) DX4 100 with 8mb RAM and Win 95, and then several Pentiums etc as time went by. Thanks for the hit of nostalgia!
