Robocop is a film which impacted me greatly upon viewing. Something about it deeply connected with me, and in this video I explore why that is, and how that connection affected my relationship with the subsequent games.

Way back, first thing I did when I hired the VHS from the local video store was watch the bit where Murphy’s hand is blown off, frame by frame. Did the same thing with the film Scanners. Never seems quite as gory after that.

I don't think I ever finished the Spectrum version, harder than Danny Trejo in a tank. Great fun though. Robocop also had a great pinball machine, also by Data East.
