We're back with another supremely crazy episode of Attack on Titan! 

With this here episode, "That Day: The Fall of Shiganshina, Part 2" we are just so much more solidified we are in Mikasa's corner! 

Now, that we know she's going into 104th Cadet Corp, the chances of the Titan's defeat has shot up about 1000% 

We're very perplexed by this big ol' battering ram and fire-breathing Titan! 

Not sure what to make of this weird Prodigy-esque military captain at the end of the episode either!

I know y’all are way ahead, so y’all may have realized this already but apparently Dustin is right about the Dr. Jaeger scene. I think a lot of people (myself included) were confused about whether that was real/a dream/the past/the future. But Eren actually didn’t have the key before his dad left in episode 1 but woke up with it after that scene. So apparently we were supposed to understand that the scene actually happened and his dad gave him the key then. Either way, stoked y’all are enjoying the show so far. ☺️

oh and btw guys about the intros and outros, i think they change them about every dozen episodes or so so yeah theres many of them but not a different one every episode lol

thanks for these reactions guys. they really make my day. also don't worry about not having answers, that's the best thing about aot. it keeps you guessing and guessing but at the end there are zero plot holes!

Without spoiling anything, Eren DID NOT have the key at the start of the episode. Dr. Jaeger took the key with him when he left.

With more answers comes more questions. This is one of those shows that likes to show not tell, but when it tells, oh boy does it tell lol

Unless there's already a reason you guys decided not to, I recommend using the Crunchyroll subtitles. These ones aren't bad, but I feel the CR ones are way more polished and natural sounding in English. Plus you won't have to worry about having different versions. In the end it's not a big deal though. But great reaction so far! AoT was also my gateway anime.
