That after credit scene and the plot of this episode is anime original and filler that kinda sets up the movie. That post credit scene is the villain from the 3rd movie. You guys honestly could watch the movie at this point.

It’s filler because it’s anime only. Nothing about it affects the real canon story. Though it is a setup episode for the movie so it’s somewhat worth watching.
