Hey guys. 

There has been so much tragedy in the world recently, and not-so-recently. This month's practice is a meditation for times like these. Times when you are overwhelmed, and run down by all the horrible things happening in the world. 

We begin the practice by using mindfulness to identify the individual emotions that we are feeling, and allowing them to be just as they are. We then bring compassion; to ourselves, and to all those who are suffering in the wake of this tragedy. 

This practice also aims to foster a sense of gratitude, for the good things that exist despite the bad, and for the good things that exist for the bad. 

I hope that it brings you some comfort, as it does for me.
