Voiceover poll April (Patreon)

It's finally time to start this. Since I've decided to make an update over two months for John & Bianca the next content poll (for 0.4.0.0) will be in May.
Instead this month you will get to vote for which female character will be the first to get some voice lines.

What exactly does that mean? After you voted for a character I will contact a fitting voiceactress and make her record some dialogue for that character. For that I will have to go through her dialogue and pick some of the hopefully more often used textlines (greetings and other often used dialogue) and send them to the actress.
After the recording I'll have to integrate the voicelines into the game so it's playing them when you talk to the given character.

How long will that take? That depends on how long the actress needs for the recording and afterwards I have to take the time for the implementation. So depending on how much text I'll have to go through it might take longer. But the plan is to do it alongside a normal content update.

This is going to be a first test for that. Afterwards I'll hopefully be able to better calculate the time and effort needed for the next character.

I'm going to do these voiceover polls more often in the future and like with normal content polls the votes for characters that don't win will be added on top at the next voice poll. Means: Even if your choice doesn't win this time, the votes will still be relevant next time.

I'll be giving you more options in the future. For now to not spread it to thin we start with 8 options. I want to rotate the options so that at some point each character has some voicelines. However at some point a character who already won will be open for voting again so that she get's more lines recorded. In the end you will decide who get's more, similar to the content each of them gets.
