Hello! This week's patreon game is Helionaut! It's an open-world galaxy adventure game akin to No Man's Sky. You're a little astronaut who explores a vast, procedurally generated universe in search of ship parts, materials and robots!
This was the biggest project I've ever done for the Patreon, hence the big delay the game had. However, I wanted to make the game the best I could, so hopefully it will be worth the wait for you. There were a lot of fun technical and design-challenges in this project, and I'm really happy with how it came out in the end. I'm excited to see what you think!
Because the game was supposed to release in May (oops), there was a placeholder itch-page up already so May patrons can still get the game.
Thanks for you patience and understanding, and have fun!

but i have kind of a bug report, the rainy planets make the game slower

This is my favourite game from Sokpop so far! I love the little planets and those jiggley animations. ♥️♥️♥️

Looking into optimizing those today! Thanks for playing! (EDIT: optimized this from V1.2 onwards)

Jabbers

Not gonna lie, when that started happening to me, I just precieved it as higher gravity slowing me down lol.

Better than Star Citizen! But I have a problem or bug I don't know. I can't grab rocks anymore and I can't craft rocks even if I have component for it.

I absolutely love this game, but is there anyway to delete a save file? One of my saves crashes the game when I try to load it up, and it would be great if I could just wipe it and start again.

Yes, in file select you can walk around and you have to use the computer there

My bad! I didn't realized that you can store rock, drill and blaster. So it make sense that you can't grab a rock when you already have one.

wow that's such a nice way to do things - thanks!
