Adrenaline and R-Line battery testing. Performed the 30, 40, 50, and 60 amp discharge tests.  A CLEAR WINNER in this test has occurred. One of the packs has reached <50% capacity at 60 amps. One of the packs is going to make it at least to 70, and maybe 80 amps. Such a big disparity on two top-tier packs is really surprising.

Found a volunteer to create an index of time-stamps for my last livestream. Updated the livestream video with the index.

Started organizing footage for my "Betaflight 3.3 filters" video that I recorded yesterday. Basically, import all the footage into Premiere and arrange it on a timeline so I can switch back and forth between cameras (head-cam, on-quad GoPro, DVR, or desktop screen recording) in editing. Probably about half the work in a multi-camera shoot is bringing in the footage and laying it out on the timeline.

Spent about 2 hours learning about the new Betaflight 3.3 filters on Github. Had some conversations with devs discussing best practices for tuning the filters. It's tough to know what to say since not everybody agrees. And it looks like RC4 is going to slightly change things anyway! UAV Tech on YouTube is doing some really great deep dives into the development.

Updated the firmware on my ClearView module. Installed it in my goggles. Recorded an overview of the installation and a brief walkthrough of the menus.

Added Holybro Tekkos/Kakute/Atlatl all in one stack to the Ultimate FPV Shopping List.

Started pulling together gear for my next Fatshark Module (and etc.) test. Will include: ClearView, Fatshark Transformer, DJI Goggles RE, SkyZone Sky03, Eachine Pro58 with Achilles Pro, and LaForge... v3. I wish it could include LaForge v4 but they still haven't solved the issue they are having with OSD stuttering on some goggles, and so they haven't gotten me a module. And I can't afford to wait much longer :-(

Installed receiver on the new (not yet released I think?) Eachine Wizard that I was sent for evaluation. This thing makes me wince with clone-tastic-ness. The antenna is a blatant rip of a Triumph and the frame is clearly filking the Floss. But the Wizard has been so many people's first quad that I kind of can't bear to ignore it on principle.

Finally got the latest screws from Armattan for the Rooster that I have been holding onto for months. The 1st screws were defective. Then they sent me the replacement screws, and they turned out to be defective. Then it was Chinese New Year. Finally I have the parts I need to do a review of this frame, or maybe a build. Not sure exactly what form this will take since Armattan also pays me to make content specifically for their site, but I suspect some content will also make it to my channel.

Trip to UPS store to mail off work-related packages (giveaway items and etc).

Love these posts. Excited to see results of the battery test and can’t wait for the filters video :)

I am really interested on how the laforge v4 compares to clearview. If possible can you hold off the testing so it is included with the rest of the modules. I feel like those are the two modules people care about right now and it might be worth waiting. Unless you do another test later and do a head to head comparison.

Unfortunately there is no timeline on when UBAD will have it ready, and I have to fit the testing into my schedule where I can. But I definitely want to test v4 whenever I get it.

True, both are great products. It might be hard to choose a clear winner. Each might have a different use case. Looking forward to the video. Thanks again for the work you do.

Looking at the Holybro stack right now! Looking for my next build and wondering if it will be the RTF Chameleon. 90% of the parts are what I would have selected, already built, tested, and tuned. Why would I not go that route? WWJBD?

The vtx in that stick is the unknown element for me... Joshua any chance you can do a in depth review on the Atlatl vtx?

I'd be looking at 330 versus 360, to use that stack and DIY a Chameleon, as opposed to built and tuned for an extra 30. I'm still leaning towards the extra 30 for build and tune as a great deal.

The CLI command for cpu_overclock can't just be turned on, it has 3 setting to choose from to run on. Have you seen This?

Awesome update JB - keep up the epic work you are doing, I feel like I learn something daily now. The BF 3.3 stuff is what I am looking forward to - seen a lot of chatter about Butterflight out in the community, people flashing custom hex and such. Not sure if it's a hype train, or if it has substance.

I can’t seem to give my boss a weekly update. Don’t know how you are going to do it daily.

I'm interested to see the tests on the high end batteries compared to the CNHL. I'm sick of paying for adrenaline batteries, so I bought a hand full of CNHL's to give a try today. I also just got a couple JBF4s to try out, I'm super excited about them! I'm going to swap out my BFF4s with the TBs. I read some reviews, and it turns out all the issues I have had with BFF4s and thought was me are common.

With all that's being covered on that goggle/module test; it' d be nice if you included the True-D (3.6).. know you've talked about them in the past, but to leave them out of a roundup/shoot out/whatever would just seem odd given their popularity.

Damn I'm dying to know who the clear winner was in the battery test! Though if my experiences are anything like yours I'd bet on the R Lines. Any idea when the results will be available?

What I did today.... Ate a bag of Cheetos and watched drone videos..
