This episode was fantastic base on the writing for each storyline, I dig every storyline in this one, from the politics, the kids, the police, and the streets, just very well put together and had me engage the whole time💯👌

For great books about detectives, David Simon's Homicide is certainly a non-fiction classic. As a crime reporter he spent a year following the Homicide unit and ended up writing it up. With his other book The Corner, he did the same following a group of addicts and dealers. Added together they very much form the basis of The Wire.
