Chapter 6 Gargomon Trouble

“Leomon, look after Henry, Terriermon, and Armadillomon!” Takato ordered, he readied his cards and his digivice. “Guilmon, we are gonna play with these guys, just try not to go crazy!”

“Kay!” Guilmon took a fighting stance.

Impmon balled his hand into a fist. “Are they mocking us?”

“You think you can beat us with that weakling rookie!” Rika huffed. “Renamon, Impmon, walk all over him and force him to bring out his champion!”

Renamon wasn’t sure about this, Guilmon wasn’t normal. She couldn’t disobey Rika’s orders, so they had to fight. ‘I’ll finish this fast and keep Rika safe!’

“Pyro Sphere!” Guilmon unleashed the blast and destroyed more than half the crystals.

“Tch, dang it!” Impmon trembled, he couldn’t hold the spell anymore. “Take this, ha!” He released what ice shards he had left.

Guilmon dodged them, but some flew towards Henry and the others. Leomon took care of that, with some swift slashes they were nothing. “Nice one Leomon!” Takato praised.

The champion smirked. ‘This is a lame seat, I wanna see some action.’ Terriermon thought, so he snuck around wanting to get a better view.

Guilmon was fighting like a beast. He was using his special attacks to counter Renamon and Impmon’s, but not going for the kill. He went dinosaur crazy, using his fangs, claws, and tail to great effect.

“Go get ‘em Guilmon!” Terriermon cheered on top of a car.

“Terriermon! Get down from there!” Henry gasped and ordered.

“Henry, relax already, it’ll all work out!” Renamon released her Diamond Storm, and even powered up they bounced off Guilmon’s hide, and bounced off striking the car Terriermon was on.

Leomon got Takato and Henry out of the way, while Guilmon scooped up Armadillomon. “Thanks!” The little guy said.

“In the games the evolution was temporary once the battle was over they always returned to normal.” Henry rubbed his temples.

Leomon thought exercise would help burn energy, so they did push ups. His muscles flexed as he did the exercise, Gargomon did them with some difficulty. “Keep at it!” Henry encouraged.
