Jenny asked them to be careful, with the Bulbasaur and Ivysaur migrating in this strange way the officers in the city were stretched thin. “Leave the Bulbasaur and Ivysaur to us we’ll find out what’s going on!” Jenny nodded.

Incineroar charged in and used Darkest Lariat. It was a critical hit and Magmar was down for the count.

“Wow!” Goh was stunned. ‘I can’t believe he took on all three of them and won. I just stood there and wasn’t able to do anything.’

“Now take your pokemon to the center and cool your heads off there. If you try messing with the Bulbasaur or Ivysaur again, I’ll drag the lot of you to Officer Jenny understood?”

Ash sighed. “We really aren’t in Alola anymore huh?” He missed how close people and pokemon were there.

“Ash?”

“It’s nothing I’m fine!” The migrating Bulbasaur continued on.

Goh kept taking pictures. “There’s so many of them.” He heard some crashing noises and spotted an Ivysaur in an alley, and he was attacking a wall. “He’s trying to move forward but can’t.”

Two balls came out. Jessie got a Gyarados and James got a Tyranitar.

“Those Pokemon look strong!” Bulbasaur nudged Goh.

Ash wasn’t backing down. Pikachu dodged a Fire Fang from Tyranitar and an Aqua Fang from Gyarados. “Pikachu use Thunderbolt!” Pikachu unleashed the attack.

Jessie smirked. “Wobbuffet use Mirror Coat!” Her blue monster jumped in and reflected Pikachu’s attack back at him.

“Pikachu!” Ash gasped.

“That’s not fair!” Goh cried out.

“Ya here that the new brat thinks we play fair!” The trio laughed.

“Incineroar, Lycanroc, come on out!” Ash called on his Alola mons for help. “Darkest Lariat, Stone Edge!” He ordered. “Pikachu use Quick Attack!”

Incineroar hit Gyarados, Lycanroc hit Tyranitar, and Pikachu hit Wobbuffet. “Amazing!” Goh gasped.

These rocket mons weren’t going down. Gyarados fought back with Aqua Tail which was super effective. Tyranitar fought back with Stone Edge and he used it to hit both Pikachu and Lycanroc. “How do you like our secret weapon brat, with these new monsters at our side, not even you can stop us!”

“I’m not letting you take the Bulbasaur and Ivysaur!”

“We’ll see about that!” Gyarados used Hydro Pump and James called for a Dark Pulse from Tyranitar. Ash’s mons got blasted by the powerful moves.

“Incineroar, Lycanroc, you guys get some rest!” He returned the two knocked out mons to their balls, but Pikachu was in bad shape. Ketchum scooped up his partner.

‘What do I do, if Ash can’t beat them…’ He was sweating.

“Bulba!” Goh’s Bulbasaur stepped up and unleashed a Vine Whip, it hit Tyranitar but it didn’t look like it took a lot of damage despite the type advantage.

“Oh brat boy, you think you can take us on?” Goh could tell his Bulbasaur was scared, but he fought anyway.

“Tyranitar use Fire Fang!” Tyranitar charged at Goh’s Bulbasaur.

“Look out!”

Boom!

Tyranitar was hit by a powerful Solar Beam. “Ash’s Bulbasaur?!” Goh gasped.

“Thanks Bulbasaur, you are awesome!” Ash praised. Goh’s Bulbasaur swooned at the save.

“Ugh you are such a pest!” Jessie snapped.

“Let’s crush him with a team attack!” Meowth said.

Before they could a barrage of Solar Beams came, Gyarados and Tyranitar being pummeled. “Thank you Ivysaur!” Ash said.

“Pika!” The mons were happy to help.

Meowth busted out some special Rocket Potion, to help keep the two powerful mons in the fight. “Nice job Meowth!” Jessie said.

“Tyranitar can you still battle?” James asked and got a nod. It was weird seeing these thieves care so much about their pokemon.

“Good let’s deal out some punishment to these Ivysaur before we steal them!” Ash stood in their way.

“I won’t let you!” Goh stared at him in awe, his heart fluttering. The Ivysaur were touched by the human’s determination. Bulbasaur smirked and began taking in sunlight, his bulb growing.

“What can you do to stop us!?” They called for Hyper Beam. As the two mons gathered the energy…

“Saur!” Bulbasaur glowed.

It was time, he was ready. Ash’s eyes sparkled as Bulbasaur evolved into Ivysaur. “Saur!” He cried out.

The two Hyper Beams were fired and Ivysaur fired back with Solar Beam. The move clashed in an epic beam struggle, even more epic as he was holding off TWO Hyper Beams. “Go!” Ivysaur gave it everything he had and his beam won out, striking the two.

They were down for the count. “No Tyranitar/Gyarados!” They cried out.

“You won’t get away with this!” They went for the Gacha to call out some other powerful mons.

“Pikachu!” Ash placed his cap on Pikachu’s head. “Let’s give them an Alolan Goodbye!” Ketchum had his Z-Ring and the Pikashunium Z crystal loaded.

Goh witnessed a Z-Move for the first time. “10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt!” The attack blasted Team Rocket away, in a dazzling flash of rainbow electricity.

This just made Team Rocket want Pikachu more. “Team Rocket’s blasting off again!” They cried out as they were hurtled into the distance. Goh had recorded the whole thing.

‘Ash...is incredible…’

“Goh look!” The other Ivysaur began to glow and evolved into Venasaur. Ash’s eyes were sparkling.

“They are evolving!” So did the Bulbasaur into Ivysaur, but Goh noticed not all of them evolved.

“They just weren’t ready yet, right Ivysaur?” Ash’s Ivysaur nodded, looking pretty cool and confident. Ketchum hugged him. “You were incredible Ivysaur, I’m so proud of you!” Ivysaur licked him and Ash chuckled.

Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venasaur unleashed a spray of green spores. The winds carried these spores across the land, the pollen helped plants grow and flowers bloom. Mysteriously Bulbasaur eggs would be found in the wild now, a wonderful surprise and the beauty of life. “Pokemon really are awesome.”

Now that everything was settled, Ash informed officer Jenny what they found. She’d make sure the city had something set up for the next time this happened.
