Chapter 12 

Chapter 13 Goldenrod Arc: Ash vs Whitney 5 versus 5?!

Ash got some time to do some training before his match with Whitney. His Ursaring was raring to battle, Cyndaquil, Pikachu, and Tauros were in top form. Drowzee was a bit nervous, this was his first gym battle. “Don’t worry you’ll do great, just do your best and we’ll get into sync okay?”

“Dro Rwozee!” He nodded.

“There you go again, relying on beginner’s luck.” Misty chided.

Ash shot her a look. “What are you talking about now?”

“You won your first contest on beginner's luck, now you want to win a gym badge the same way. You are using Ursaring and Drowzee, two Pokemon you’ve not battled with before. It’s asking for trouble!” She wagged her finger at them.

Ursaring growled at her, while Drowzee sulked. “Easy buddy,  and don’t listen to Misty, she doesn’t know what she’s talking about.” Brock did, while training for his first contest he had Ursaring and Drowzee assist, so they gained some training and Ash gained insight into their moves and their abilities.

Ash continued his preparations, while Misty huffed and went off to do some shopping.

Meanwhile…

James was busy rewarding his Pokemon for a job well done. Weezing sucked his dick and balls, with his big mouth he was able to swallow both. He sucked on his crotch, while his tongue lapped at his sac and shaft. James blushed, his whole body trembling.

“Yes, it sounds like a waste of time.” Jessie agreed.

“Well if you don’t wanna take notes on his battle style to get stronger…” Jessie dressed in her Musashi outfit.

“Let’s go!” James breathed a sigh of relief.

Meowth still felt this was a waste of time, even though James got a badge, he didn’t like this idea. He just held his tongue.

Whitney came to Ash when she was ready to battle. Ketchum’s seven other pokemon stood with Brock as a cheering squad. James/Kojiro sat with Jessie/Musashi to observe the battle. Ash waved at James, who returned the wave discreetly. “Are you ready Ash, this will be a 5 v 5?”

“I’m ready!”

The judge took the stage. “The battle for the Plain Badge will now begin!”

“Alright Clefairy, let’s go!”

“Pikachu I choose you!” Their Pokemon came out.

“Clefairy let’s start things off with Metronome!” Clefairy began to wag his fingers.

“Stay sharp Pikachu!” Pikachu got defensive, his cheeks sparking.

Clefairy’s metronome turned into Fire Blast. “Dodge it Pikachu!” Pikachu avoided the fire attack. “Now use Thunderbolt!”

He unleashed a powerful jolt, which Clefairy dodged. “Let’s give him a taste of his own medicine, use Mimic!” Clefairy’s Mimic copied Pikachu’s attack and zapped him, but the electric mouse shook it off. “Your Pikachu is tough!”

“He sure is!”

Clefairy was told to use DoubleSlap, but Pikachu dodged and hit back with Quick Attack. “Not a bad move let’s see it again Clefairy use Encore!” Clefairy clapped and Pikachu got hit with a strange energy.

“Encore, what’s that?” Pikachu seemed fine. “Pikachu use Thunder!” Pikachu tried to use the attack but it instead turned into Quick Attack. He was shocked at the different move.

Whitney giggled. “That move locks your monster into the last move it used, but now we’ll take that Quick Attack, use Mimic!” Clefairy zipped quickly and slammed into Pikachu.

The battle became a clash of Quick Attack, but then Clefairy became paralyzed because of Pikachu’s Static. “Nice one Pikachu...Pikachu?” His monster had hearts in his eyes.

“Clefairy has Cute Charm, meaning when she’s hit she has a chance to charm her opponent.”

Ash called to Pikachu, and he snapped out of the attraction. “Huh?” Whitney was surprised, that was the fastest she’s ever seen a Pokemon snap out of attract.

“Alright Pikachu use Thunder!” The effect of Encore had worn off allowing Pikachu to unleash his best electric attack. Because of paralysis Clefairy wasn’t able to escape and got hit at full blast.

“Clef...airy…” She fainted.

“Clefairy is unable to battle, Pikachu wins!”

“Alright!” Ash exclaimed.

“Not bad Ash!” She recalled her Clefairy and sent out Nidorina. Whitney’s team consisted of female and cute pokemon.

“Pikachu come on back!” He recalled his Pikachu and pets him. “You did great buddy!” He called out his Cyndaquil.

“Nidorina use Attract!” Nidorina winked sending hearts at Cyndaquil. He became infatuated with Nidorina.

“Oh no!” Ash gasped. His pokemon called out to him on the sidelines. Nidorina hit Cyndaquil with a Tackle, and he just took it.

“Cyndaquil!” Ash called to his fire type and he snapped out of Attract status.

“Again?” Whitney gasped.

Brock began to ponder. ‘Is it because of the mating bond?’ The love shared between the two of them overpowered the attract.

“Nidorina use Poison Sting!”

“Counter it with Swift!” The attacks collided, but Cyndaquil’s power won out and Nidorina was pelted by stars. “Follow it up with Flamethrower!”

Cyndaquil blasted Nidorina with fire and she was down for the count. “Nidorina is unable to battle Cyndaquil wins!”

“Alright you did it Cyndaquil!” Cyndaquil was quite pleased with himself. Ash’s Pokemon cheered for him and praised him.

Nidorina was returned. “Now for my next Pokemon, I choose you Wigglytuff!” This Wigglytuff looked tougher than the last one Ash saw.

“Cyndaquil return.” Ash called the Fire Type back. “Okay, I choose you Drowzee!” He called out the Psychic Type.

“Let’s see if you can handle this one’s style, Wigglytuff use Sing!”

“Wigglytuff~” She sang, song notes appeared and floated around the field. Drowzee was hit by the notes but nothing happened.

“What?!” Even Wigglytuff was shocked.

“My Drowzee’s special ability is Insomnia. He won’t be falling asleep!” It took a strong orgasm to get Drowzee to rest or he meditated to replenish his energy.

“Wigglytuff use Rollout!” Wigglytuff puffed up in anger before rolling out like a ball.

“Drowzee dodge it with Teleport!” Drowzee vanished, and Wigglytuff missed. She looked quite confused. “Now use Pound! Drowzee appeared behind Wigglytuff and gave her a punch.

He knocked her back, but she puffed off and bounced back. “Use Rollout!” Wigglytuff tried to hit Drowzee but he kept dodging using Teleport.

Wigglytuff became tired. When she stopped, Drowzee smacked her again with Pound. She puffed up. “Now Drowzee use Confusion!” He caught her in a psychic hold, and began to spin and bounce her around like a ball. He spun her round and round and she got all confused and dizzy.

“Use Double Slap!”

“Use Pound!” Wigglytuff ended up slapping herself in confusion and Drowzee smacked her down.

“Wigglytuff is unable to battle, Drowzee wins!”

“You did it Drowzee!” Ash cheered and gave his monster a hug. Drowzee was so happy. His first battle landed in victory.

“Your Pokemon sure are tough Ash, but you better be ready my last two Pokemon are no jokes!” She called out her fourth monster. “I choose you Furret!”

“A Furret?” Ash pulled out his Pokedex.

Dexter: Furret; the Long Body Pokemon, and the evolved form of Sentret. It makes a nest to suit its long and skinny body, the deeper the nest goes the more maze-like they become. Despite its short legs, it is quick and nimble.

Ash called back Drowzee. “Okay Ursaring, it’s your turn!” The Normal type came out, letting out a mighty roar. Team Rocket tensed up seeing such a beast.

‘When did he catch that?!’

“He looks quite strong Ash!”

The battle began, with Furret using Slam, while Ursaring used Slash. He swiped with his claws, but Furret dodged and smacked him again and again. “That is fast!”

“I raised my Furret to be extra speedy!” They were feisty too. Ursaring growled, he sure didn’t want to lose.

“We haven’t given up yet, Ursaring use Slash!”

“Double Team!” Furret vanished into a circle of clones and Ursaring missed, cutting through a clone. He got pissed.

“Easy buddy, we got this, use Feint Attack!” He moved and it looked like he was gonna attack a clone only to slide catch the real one and smack him down. The clones went poof.

Furret wasn’t down yet, and began to use Dig. Ursaring got smacked around again and again. He kept trying to follow the Furret but it was too fast. “Ursaring cool it, let’s take a nap!”

He used rest and went to sleep, his body healing up. “That’s a risky move Ash, go get ‘em Furret use Slam!”

“We got this Ursaring use Snore!” His ear twitched, and he let loose dark sound waves. Furret got hit and knocked back.

“Furret quick use Dig!” Furret tried, but Ursaring used Snore again, and he was even faster than before. He hit Furret and made him flinch. “He’s faster now?!”

“My Ursaring’s special ability is Quick Feet, so while he’s asleep he’s even faster, Snore one more time!” Ursaring blasted Furret, and nothing it did worked and soon he was knocked out.

“Furret is unable to battle, Ursaring wins!” He woke up and saw the defeated opponent. Ursaring began to cheer and stomp about.

“You were great Ursaring!” His monster gave him a hug. “Ooff!”

“Not bad Ash, but let’s see if you can beat my ace!” She called out her last Pokemon...Miltank!

She looked ready to battle. Ursaring was fully charged and ready to battle but Miltank was something else. Even 5 v 1 Ash felt the pressure as this monster was a beast! Team Rocket was taking notes the whole match, but this match was intense.

Miltank’s Rollout was far superior than Diva’s Rollout and Wigglytuff’s Rollout. Ursaring stopped the first one, but was knocked back by the second and taken out by the third. He didn’t even get a chance to use Rest before he was hit by the wrecking ball that was Miltank.

“You were great Ursaring, get a good rest!” He had Pikachu go next, but his mighty bolts did little to slow Miltank down, it was her fourth spin so it was destructive, blowing through Thunderbolt and hitting Pikachu dead on. Pikachu tried to fight back with Thunder, but Miltank used Rollout to dodge it and Pikachu got hit with the fifth round. “Thanks Pikachu you were great.” He knew Miltank was strong from seeing the battle with Kojiro, but this was intense.

“Use this as a lesson Ash, Pokemon moves can be used in unique ways, if you are doing contests too you better take that to heart.”

“I see, the spin of Rollout is building their power and speed, she used the move to tear through our own and attack.” He’d have to put a pin in that for now. “Gotta stop that Rollout, Drowzee, I choose you!” He called out the Psychic Type.

“Miltank use Rollout!”

“Drowzee use Teleport!” He dodged...or so they thought when he appeared Miltank was still rolling and he came barreling in. Drowzee was hit hard, but this was just the first spin of the new Rollout set.

“That won’t work on Miltank Ash. We’ve worked on Rollout the most of all our moves.”

‘So you can sharpen moves by training them specifically. Pokemon really are amazing!’ Ash felt his excitement grow. “We aren’t done with his yet, Drowzee we got this!”

“Drowzee!” He got back up.

“Go Miltank!” She charged, spinning for the second round of attack.

“Use Confusion!” Drowzee unleashed his psychic power, and he caught Miltank off guard. “No more Rollout!” He followed up with another Confusion and smacked Miltank down.

“Not bad Ash, but Miltank knows more than Rollout, like Stomp!” She jumped into the air, and did a spin to build power before coming down on Drowzee.

“Counter it with Pound!” It was a clash of power, but Miltank had built up some before the clash and Drowzee got taken down.

“Thanks Drowzee return!” Miltank wasn’t a one trick pony, she had power to spare.

“Let’s finish this fast, Cyndaquil, I’m counting on you!” Cyndaquil used some speed, and landed a Flamethrower.

“Body Slam!” She jumped and did a spin before plummeting towards the Fire Type.

“Use Quick Attack and dodge!” Cyndaquil sped out of the way, and Miltank hit the ground hard shaking the gym. If Cyndaquil had been hit by that it would have been over.

The two clashed with a Flame Wheel and Rollout, he lacked size and got knocked back, but Miltank wasn’t left unscathed. She got a burn. Even at reduced power Miltank managed to knock Cyndaquil out.

“Thanks buddy you did great.” Now Ash was down to his last Pokemon. “Tauros I choose you!” He came out proud, surprising even Miltank. She got a bit intimidated, dropping her power further.

“So you have a Tauros, he sure looks strong, but my girl’s not losing!” There was a clash of Stomp and Horn Attack and Tauros won knocking it back. Miltank tried to use Body Slam but Tauros dodged, and hit her with a Take Down. He did suffer from recoil, but he was still strong.

Then came the clash of Rollout and Headbutt. The match ended in a draw, then came another round. “Follow up the Headbutt with Horn Attack!” He built the power up in his horns and he was able to over power Miltank.

She was in a tight spot. “Looks like you could use a drink, use Milk Drink!” Miltank used her utter to shoot milk into her mouth, and her wounds healed. She still was burned but this move had got her up there.

“This is bad, Tauros is hanging tough and he could have finished it with all the help from the other Pokemon, but now…” Milk Drink is a powerful recovery move. Miltank licked her lips and was ready to battle.

“The twerp is done for!” Musashi said.

“That Miltank is something else, maybe we should steal it.” Meowth schemed.

“I don’t think it’s over, look at him!” Kojiro said, Ash was looking confident.

“We got this, Tauros you’ve gotten so much stronger, you gained a lot of experience in the Tauros Tournament!” Tauros nodded.

“Miltank use Rollout!” Even while burned Miltank rolled through the pain.

“Wait for it…” Miltank got in close. “Now use Fissure!”

Tauros stomped on the ground sending a wave of energy that split the ground. It cut right through Miltank’s Rollout, and finished it in an impressive shot.

“Miltank is unable to battle, Tauros wins. The winner of the Plain Badge is Ash!” The judge declared.

“We did it!” Ash jumped and cheered. His Pokemon joined in the celebratory cheers.

“Not bad Ash, I’m impressed!” She felt Ash deserved the badge, he was excellent and he was only gonna get better. She gave him the badge and Ash beamed.

“So the twerp pulled it off.” Jessie leaned on her hand. She hated to admit it the boy was strong.

“We got our own dreams to focus on Jessie. We can do this too!”

“What about that Miltank?” Meowth got smacked. He was crazy.

“Ash, I have some catching up to do, but we will have a battle one day!” Kojiro called out.

“Sure thing Kojiro!” The trio left. Meowth protesting but he was ignored. Ash’s team may have been exhausted, but he had seven other monsters ready to fight.

Ash had a new badge and he was gonna celebrate with his mons later tonight, but first a trip to the center.
