Chapter 12 Goldenrod Arc: Contest and Gym Battle

Ash was getting ready for his first contest. Brock was coaching him, reading from the Contest Guidebook. “Contests are divided between two rounds, the Performance or Appeals round, then there is the Contest Battle round. “Alright folks we are in our final round Ash versus Musashi, the winner will receive the Goldenrod Ribbon!” The crowd cheered.
