PLUGIN UPDATE: Alive v34.2 (files) (Patreon)

This is a small update to try to fix the issue a few people are having with loading the new UI. For some reason there seems to be a problem retrieving the clothing & hair items information in some cases.

CHANGELOG

UI
- FIX: prevent UI failing to load when hair or clothing items return as null
- DEBUG: added more debug logic to identify the cause of failed loading
- FIX: fix UI stuck on loading on scenes with 0 person atoms

INSTRUCTIONS

- If you don't have problems with the new UI, you can skip this version
- For people that have problems with the UI:
1.  overwrite SPQR.SPQRAlive.34.var with the new one from here
2. manually delete Saves\PluginData\Aeternum\Ae\Html\meta.json
3. add the Aeternum.cslist plugin as a session plugin and check if it works now

DEBUGGING

If the UI didn't work before for UI but it works now, you'll see a log message. Please copy paste and let me know. I still don't know what the cause is and you'll still have problems in future updates likely. The log message should be like:

VAMDATA FAILED: femaleHairItems,
DAZ Character: Female 3

If you're encountering other issues just let me know and also mention please the following:
- are you running the vamx version of vam?
- how many .var files do you have?
- does the error also happens when you load the UI in the default vam scene?
- copy-paste or describe the error you're seeing

UPDATE

Based on feedback received I added a new version that shows more debug info for people that still have problems, it's inside the archive "v34.1 - more debug messages .zip".

If you overwrite the var with the var from there, you will get more logs when loading the UI. If you have problems loading the UI still, please try this version and DM me the stuff you see before the error appears, like the last 10-20 lines that start with "debug " before there's an error message. If you get lots of them in a loop, you can disable the plugin to stop the errors from appearing and make it easier to copy.

Based on more feedback, I added a few more stuff that might help solve the loading UI issues and uploaded v34.2.

how many vars do you have? it might be something that happens when people have huge collections of assets of looks. for other people that had the problem v34.2 seemed to have helped

with v34.2 does it always freeze for you? If not, press F10 and check that file that gets created

Oh, i got tons and tons of vars... But no with the 34.2 it keep freezing the process :(

now the ui keeps loading with everything red. "Exception during compile of SPQR.VamWidgets.1:/Custom/Scripts/SPQR/VamWidgets/SPQRVamWidgets.dll: System.Security.SecurityException: Security Check Failed (RuntimeNamespaceRestriction) : [SPQRVamWidgets, SPQRVamWidgets.dll] : The namespace 'ZenFulcrum.EmbeddedBrowser' is prohibited and cannot be referenced" This is in the error log, not sure if its related to aeternum plugin.

vam 1.22 very many in total but very few used in scene yes ui doesnt load and everything is marked red

It's related to VAM 1.22 update that launched a couple of days ago, there's a new setting that blocks some libraries from plugins by default now. You have to turn that on for the new UI to work. Check my latest post for more details

I'll keep at it and try to fix it for you too, for most people 34.2 seemed to have worked any more details you can DM that might help would be helpful
