I added here a new plugin as per the poll results. I named it XXTriggers because there was already a ExtraTriggers v2, and ExtraTriggers2 would've been confusing. And it's also very different to ExtraTrigger in many ways, not exactly a continuation of it. More like a different approach. There was a lot of feedback and requests for the original ExtraTriggers and all of it was around the Person collisions. Other objects usually have very few colliders in VAM and it's easy to use the original ExtraTriggers. But with Person atoms there are hundreds of colliders, with names that are not very helpful, and setting up triggers was a hassle.

XXTRIGGERS FEATURES

  • Person plugin, dedicated to body parts collisions

  • 20 groups/tabs, allowing to set 20 different rules in one plugin

  • easy to use checkboxes for body parts, with visual indicators when they collide

  • performance fixes. Old ExtraTriggers plugin has some stuff poorly implemented and components it creates stack up in the scene in some scenarios

  • same features as ExtraTriggers: two different triggers per rule, Collision and Expire. Customizable intervals and cooldown to prevent too many actions triggering too quick

  • works in VR too with VR hands collision

To use it: add a new plugin to a Person atom, select SPQRPlugins.48.var, browse to the XXTriggers folder and add the XXTriggers.cslist as the plugin.

If you notice any bugs or get any errors, please let me know and I'll try to fix them. I only tested this very briefly on desktop and vr, and I'll likely not use this plugin much myself, so I might miss stuff.

UPDATE V48.1

Added a small fix for the new plugin. There were 3 triggers (lips, nipples, genitals) that were not triggering properly due to being proximity based rather than collision based and there was no information for them about the magnitude of the contact, so they were filtered out. They're some of VAM's default triggers, I added them to this plugin too for convenience because their names disappear sometimes in the vam ui:

For people that want to use those particular triggers in XXTriggers and downloaded already the var from yesterday, you can redownload it and replace the old SPQR.SPQRPlugins.48.var with the current one from this post to have the latest version.
