ABOUT ALIVECORE
This is the alpha release of a new plugin I've been working on: ALIVECORE. If you like this kind of plugin and want to see more updates for it, make sure to subscribe & like the post.
This is like an easier and more lightweight ALIVE. It has just the basic features for the Person atoms, not all Person features from Alive will be in Alivecore. It's meant for more traditional VAM use (combination with other plugins) while ALIVE is more of a standalone experience. Many people pointed out that they only want expressions, a bit of idle movement & gaze, and they're constantly annoyed trying to retrofit Alive to work within their process. It's not how Alive is intended to be used but I've been looking into ways to do this for them. It wasn't easy and I explored lots of different approaches. I had to change lots of code and come up with some tools to pull it off but I think it's working pretty good so far.
ALIVECORE is based on ALIVE but simplified and refactored in a way to make it:
as lightweight as possible
easier to understand and use
more flexible
no security permissions needed other than allowing plugins
use a classical VAM UI
more intuitive triggers for people trying to build things
ALIVECORE1 is based on the upcoming ALIVE v75 that has lots of performance changes.
INSTRUCTIONS
This is a standalone plugin, you don't need ALIVE or other plugins to be added, morph packs listed below are recommended
Add alivecore.cs as a plugin on a Person atom
If ALIVE is running at the same time it will take priority and control the person over ALIVECORE, recommended is to use one or the other, mixing them is not intended

DEPENDENCIES
There are no dependencies, ALIVECORE should work without any of these vars but they're recommended for the best experience in vam and for more morphs. They're all free VAM morph packs:
