Here is the FULL and UNBLURRED reaction to Taylor Swift Eras Tour Part 3 EVERMORE!

Enjoy!!

Comments

ThatNorwegianGuy

Can’t wait to Watch This one 😃😃😊

Emma Kinney

You should react to her song London Boy! It’s so fun

Thamor

So where do you decide what songs you react to, only on twitch? Will throw just for fun another suggestion on Patreon never seen these being picked. "Vivy Fluorite Eye's Song - Sing My Pleasure"

Katrina Bradford

5 seconds into watching…. I’m not feeling emotional. lol. Oh luke!!

Alexia French

Yes Majorie is about her Grandmom, there’s a really nice lyric video for it❤️

Katrina Bradford

Marjorie is about her late grandmother. The crowd started doing a “tribute” of sorts and showing the lights on their phones for her!! Yes, her grandmother did opera and had vocals on the song.

Jamie Quillinan

Listen: at this point, I'm just happy to have them! ❤️ I hope you get to go! I'm going twice this year! When the Tour Movie came out in theaters I took my 3 daughters. They made and traded friendship bracelets, sang and danced their hearts out. Imagine what the in-person concert will be like!!!!!

Meredith Mettetal

Oh talk about haunting, when she sings Marjorie, that's her grandmother singing opera at the end. Such a beautiful way to honor her

Johnerrrrrk

I liiiiiiive for her face during the “she’s fucked in the head, they said” line during Champagne Problems!

Darsy Smith

Marjorie is my favorite song of all of Taylor's work. It's hard to notice until you'd see the whole tour and then watch it again, but there are shots of Taylor you just do not see except in THIS song, shots that show how Marjorie Finlay's granddaughter has fulfilled some 'backlogged dreams' to fill stadiums with her talent! You can see the wistfulness and pride on Taylor's face, and it's just really lovely. Two of my favorite songs are on Evermore, Marjorie and Tolerate It (though the second verse is missing from Tolerate it), and I NEVER expected to get to hear them live. It's a treat! Sorry you got GOT (I'm not sorry), but with Marjorie on the docket you had no hope! Her grandmother's voice is heard twice in the track, and if you get a chance look her up! Even just the lyric video that Taylor put up herself is full of vintage photos and video of the two together. Marjorie Finlay seems to have led an amazing, fascinating life! Luke at the beginning of Champagne Problems: this era is breaking me Us: oh no (it's not done kicking your ass, dear)

Brent Barrie

I'm with you man. I can't watch any Taylor performance without getting emotional.

Mads

"I'm not feeling too emotional, I think I'll be fine today" oh ... oh you sweet sweet child

Lori-Ann Lemire

Fridays really are the best day of the week 🙌🏻

Petra

How i just laughed out loud when you said you’ll be fine today 🤭

Heather Norton

Luke: "I'm feeling strong, I'm not going to cry today!" Me: "Hahahah you know nothing, Jon Snow" 🤣

Lavenderdazed

I don't want to spoil anything but I feel I should warn you that the Speak Now Era is only 1 song so you might want to double up that week!

Kendra P

In our Atlanta show, we were the crowd that first put up their phones during Marjorie and she cried while performing it. It was really spontaneous when the crowd started it. I can never hear Marjorie without crying, because my grandmother was my world too. I was 11 when she died, and I named my daughter after her 20 years later, that’s how much she still means to me.

Sophie Poel

I just knew evermore was going to break you! Reputation is my favorite era 🐍 you are going to LOVE it!!

Tara Crothers

Oh Luke! When will you learn to keep tissues in the room when you react to Taylor? You're my favorite because I get just as emotional as you, and watching you makes me laugh/cry. I love that you're sad you have to wait a week to watch more. Me too! 😂

Darsy Smith

Seconding, we love you but you will riot and WE will riot if you don't double up! We tell you because we care! Best way to go about it is Reputation + Speak Now, because the era after Speak Now is one of the longer ones!

Darsy Smith

The shots of her looking at the whole huge crowd as she hears her grandmother's vocals really just hit so hard. It's delightful.

madison

yayyyyy 🥹 i LOVE the evermore set so much. a couple things to keep you in the loop, yes marjorie is her grandma who was an opera singer so when she says “if i didn’t know better, i’d think you were singing to me now” and then marjorie’s operatic vocals are layered over 😭😭 the standing ovation after champagne problems, they cut it to like 40 seconds for the movie but in real time they were lasting up to like 10 minutes 🥹👏🏻 champagne problems was a song she wrote about the scenario of a couple with two very different intentions for the evening, one to break it off, and the other one who brought a ring. 😞 it makes all of us feel things. love your swiftie reactions, see you next week for reputation 😎

Heather Norton

Plus, you already saw the teddy bear phase, it was Lover 🤣

Alexandra

I cry every time I hear her sing Marjorie - I think Evermore is definitely just a wildly emotional album (they all are in some capacity I think she just really wanted to destroy people with her song choices for this era during the tour lol) but the whole point of music and art is to evoke emotion! So I will never understand why people judge or shame when emotion is evoked! I love your reactions because of how connected you feel to the emotional side of the music and when you relate things to how much you love your family, it’s so wonderful and exactly the point of music!

Mequet

I would like for you to react to Taylor so much that when someone someday asks your sons (who are both beautiful and have some of the best hair I’ve ever seen btw thank you for introducing them on that one video) what their dad does for a job they’ll say “he cries to Taylor Swift”. Loved this reaction as always! Edited to add: I loved what you were saying about the way you want to raise your boys. I’ve had people tell me (even my own husband thought this way when we were first married) that you’re supposed to toughen your kids up. I always say that the world will do that to everyone including my kids and I want us (me and their dad) to be their soft safe place to land.

Erin Haskett

I look forward to all of these so much. Never change Luke. 🥹 Also, probably the WORST Era to swear you’re not going to cry on is definitely Evermore.

Juliana Lai

As someone mentioned, next week you could do two eras, Reputation and Speak now because SN is really just two songs, then Folklore on its own, 1989 with two acoustic songs and end it with Midnights. That's 4 more videos, we/you can do it!!! ❤️

K C

just gonna take a moment of appreciation for the lyric “i made you my temple, my mural, my sky. now i’m begging for footnotes in the story of your life” in tolerate it. beautifully heartbreaking

Lavenderdazed

Oh yeah, my bad. I saw it in theaters so it didn't have long live when I watched it. Forgot they added songs for the steaming version. Thanks! 😊

Dirkus

Hey Luke! Just want to say, I get so much joy from watching your TS reactions. I'm a 48 year old bachelor who has always had trouble connecting with my emotions. Until Taylor. Then I started to worry that being so emotional wasn't "manly," but I'm reassured that I'm not alone. You and a bunch of other content creators have really boosted my willingness to be vulnerable and emotional when with others by showing that it's okay to be emotional and share those emotions with people around you. Thank you for your contribution to my emotional wellbeing :D Minor nitpick on your commentary. The Netflix documentary is called "Miss AmeriCANA," not "Miss America" which is a beauty pageant lol :) The concert film has been edited to reduce the time between eras, I believe. Taylor has to change outfits and such, and the crew needs some time to rearrange the set/stage. Taylor is emotional during "Marjorie" because she's singing about her late grandmother, whom she adored. Marjorie passed when Taylor was twelve (or so). I sob every time I hear it. When you said at the beginning "I'm going to make it through this one without crying" I was like.....just wait for Marjorie lol Taylor did an interview with Apple Music (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOORBL2C2oo) where she talks about how much she was looking forward to singing "Champagne Problems" live and hearing the entire stadium shouting "...what a shame she's fucked in the head, they said." I'm so happy she was finally able to do it! "Is it just me, or is Taylor an ACTRESS?!" 1000% yes.

Isabella Peterson

Evermore and Folklore are the worst for emotional people. In the best possible way because you can feel it all! You are the most incredible human and i wish more people (especially men but some women too) could be more like you. Open and honest and raw with your emotion. I’m manifesting that you’ll get tickets because as a lifelong swiftie i feel like you deserve to witness this so much! I’ve seen this show so many times, voth the film and livestreams of different shows and going in may. But some performances makes me cry no matter how many times i see them. Favourite eras is so hard! Because like you said they are so different. It really depends on your own mood. Love watching you🫶

Lem

Luke!! Please do Reputation and Speak Now together !! For speak now she only performs one song, so please don’t do that one by itself!! I look forward to all your taylor reactions, you put a smile on my face when Im feeling down! So please don’t stop reacting!

SwiftZilla

Love you, Luke, Love how you wear your heart on your sleeve. Not easy for a lot of people who do this kind of stuff because they know they're being watched by a lot. As I've said, I admire you and your character so much. Keep being you, can't wait till next Friday!🤍

The Evills

Exactly! Luke needs to react to the Lover album as his palette cleanser.

The Evills

Aaah, I am smiling, Luke. I came here specifically to rest and reset after an awful, awful morning and I knew this would make me smile and be gently amused — especially since evermore is one of my favorite albums. I very much leave these videos feeling like I’ve just had a lovely platonic cuddle with a friend, and I really needed that today. But lovey, have you considered Kleenex? 😂😝😉

Marissa Kauffman

You made it through the saddest set! I love to see how truly and completely you embrace your emotions, please don’t ever change! And I feel like you should know that Taylor has said when she meets fans she, in a weird way, likes when they cry because she feels things very strongly herself and likes to see that in others. So I’m 100% positive she would LOVE you! :)

ThatNorwegianGuy

I love these reactions. Thank you so much for doing this ❤️🙏. I can Watch these on repeat 😄😄

eden

Unless he has an editor to edit it into the correct place (like songs from a suitcase does), Long Live is at the end of the extended version tacked on as "extra performances" along with The Archer and Wildest Dreams. So the Speak Now era of the movie is still technically just one song and I definitely agree he should double it with reputation!

eden

I full agree with everyone saying you should double the reputation and speak now eras!! The speak now era alone would be such a short video it's only one song (or two if you edit Long Live into its correct place but even then it's pretty short!) so I honestly think you'd prefer to double as well instead of having to stop yourself after just one song!

Lavenderdazed

Thanks for clarifying! That makes sense❤️ I originally thought he could double with Red but I think you're right that he should watch with rep. since Red has ATW10MV

Kate Felmet

yes it’s that seamless

Megan 🫶🏻

i have not survived a "Marjorie" performance yet, its instant tears

Meliza Garcia

Hi Luke, this Era gets me every time! Seeing her in person is amazing! If you were in the states I would take you with me to see her in New Orleans! Keep up the great job 👏 and you may need to keep some tissues next to you!

Megan 🫶🏻

i agree with people saying to combine Reputation and Speak Now! you've already reacted to 2 out of 4 songs from the Rep era already! and speak now era only had 1 song in the movie unless someone edited in the bonus song for you!

123 Let’s Go Bitch!

When you said “I’m not feeling very emotional today I think I’ll be fine I said “wrong era for that!” lol 🤍🫶

Jodi Hansen

I’m here for any format you choose to do! I’m here for it!! Question: do the likes on this app translate to YouTube or do we need to show support on both? I just want to make sure to support you in “ALL THE WAYS”!! Such great content!

Teri

Don’t cut up Miss Americana. If you have to then just cut it in half. Otherwise, it won’t be that good bcus it’s a documentary. Not an entertainment type music video.

Teri

My daughter said, yes it’s pretty seamless. She called the concert EPIC!

Teri

Her Evermore album is all about fantasy.

Kate Furletti

Insta is huge for swifties! Great place to reach more swifties and share your heartfelt reactions

clansome

Totally agree with that. It's one of those videos you'll "probably" have to cut up for YouTube anyway. An uninterupted reaction on Patreon as a stating point would be so much better. As Reputation Stadium Tour is now OFF Netflix, that is one you won't have to deal with. !989 World Tour is still available on Apple, it has a strange format which, personally I'm not keen on, I prefer the Reputation style.

Andrea Russell

Evermore is gonna break him oh no!!!

Teri

It’s the emotional energy in the room that makes her so special honey. I don’t believe one person leaves without shedding a least one joy filled tear. ❤️

Aiden Teague

Luke, I knew you'd be emotional. As soon as you said you were going to try and hold it together I thought, "no, mate. Definitely not gonna happen." Just let those emotions come! No use fighting them as a Swiftie. It will be a losing battle. Love your content, man! This is era is def worthy of accolades.

Brent

I agree with everyone saying combine the next two eras

Teri

She has hired the best Broadway production teams is why. She was in the movie CATS 🌸

Teri

It’s ok Luke sweetheart. Now it’s time for a nap.. hugs

Teri

Anger, sadness, joy, silliness. These are healthy emotions that cleanse away the buildup in our souls. Otherwise, we would implode.

fivebyfive

I seen her live on Aug 3rd. This is almost as seamless as the concert is. She disappears into the stage for like 30 sec to a 1:30 to change quickly then she is back. Its crazy. There is always something going on even when she is changing though. I think the longest change is going into Red (About 3 minutes) but they have cool theatrics going on with a box and evey time the dancer opens it a different song from red plays. Its cool. Then BOOM Taylor is back. The stuff on the stage moves and goes under and such, its really something to watch. The stage is awesome.

Jonathan Rojas

From all the 366 days of the year and Taylor decided to release an album on my birthday. Thank you Taylor for the gift!

fivebyfive

On the song Marjorie, the lights you see are not our light up bracelets. The bracelets turn off during the song. Almost everyone in the stadium turns on their phone flash light in memory of her grandma. This is something we (swifties) just did at one of her concerts and it just cont. every time she sings it. If you could feel the atmosphere in the stadium...its haunting in a very touching way. Thats why when she is walking back you see her looking around and smiling, we honored her grandma and id imagine that makes her happy.

Mary

I agree with that because of it being a documentary. If you have to cut, just do in half.

Scarlet Afire

Oh I just giggled when you said you weren't going to get emotional during this reaction. Like no no, the pandemic albums (folklore and evermore) were when we all collectively came together and went to therapy through her music. Take heart though, there's no crying in reputation. Well, unless the crowd gets you or just how epic the set is, and oh my gosh is it epic. And yes, it's nearly as seamless live. There are a few breaks in between some of the sets for costume changes and prop swaps, but you barely notice. The best time to go to the bathroom is: Don't.

Kristine

Def excited for her new album! Also the evermore set is my fav, the willow performance is just beautiful

Lucy Prince of Wales

That was me... I have been telling you about Marjorie from jump. Those backup vocals are her grandma

fivebyfive

Yes evermore is a tough one. Youre right she does live in the songs. She set the eras perfect...you are low now, heavy weight on you then BOOM Rep comes to put bring you back up and feeling invincible.

SaraBorggreen

Ahh. Finally, what I’ve been waiting for since Friday. 😌

Kayla Waters

I felt very called out that I was smiling while you cried.... 🤣 I'm loving your whole Taylor rabbit hole. I've actually gone back and rewatched from the beginning, and it's very satisfying to go back to when you were bracing to tell the Swifties that Taylor wasn't for you 😁 I swear, you are just a tornado of wholesomeness. There are still so many things that I can't wait for us to get to show you ❤️ One in particular, Ronan, that you legitimately should have emotional support on standby for 😬 Anyway, I'm so happy to get to see you fall in love with Taylor. Honestly watching your reactions makes it feel like I get to watch her whole career again for the first time, and it warms my heart 😊

Mary

I know Reputation is next but after that you should do Speak Now and Red together as one part because Speak Now is super short

Mary

Please dont feel like you can’t show your emotions. We love it! That is the beauty of Taylor. She brings out all the emotions. 🫶

sydbee

I'm so glad you knew the context for Marjorie. It gets me every time.

Alethea C

Luke saying he is not emotional today and should be ok in the beginning, and you know what's coming up and that he won't be.

Maddie Loftus

I saw the show live! It really is that smooth. Transitions usually only took 60-90 seconds. When you're standing and screaming and dancing along, it's barely enough time to catch your breath really until she starts again. And usually, there was something else interesting happening on the big screen as well. There were all those sparks for the Fearless transition, and a spoken word poem right before folklore. So, truly, the transitions feel like no time at all!

Annie Willow

I was totally laughing when you were a few seconds into Willow and you thought you weren’t going to be emotional today.

Ann

When youre done watching it separately i hope you watch it all together just on your own. Get the whole experience with your full attention 💕

Ann

Swifties appreciate sharing feelings. Taylor paved the way to make us a safe space to share our emotions as much as we want, just like she did with us

Ann

You should read her times person of the year article! (Not for a reaction but its got a lott there for u )

Andree Kelly

Her grandmother was an opera singer. According to Andrea {MAMA SWIFT} Taylor is just like her grandmother.

Andree Kelly

Also…I cry always listening to Taylor🫶🏻

Andree Kelly

Babe just soak it all in and cry…why do you think we love her so miraculously and completely. Taylor is everyone’s bestie…she’s magical 💫🫶🏻🌙 ✨

Simon Gee

When he said "I'm going to do it this time, I'm not crying" and the rest of us knew Marjorie and Champagne Problems were still coming..

Diana Harriman

When you go live the transitions are soooo seamless.

Diana Harriman

I admire your confidence at the beginning of this set declaring that you wouldn't cry.

Kate Felmet

if you want something fun that wont make you cry, try the CMT awards "Thug Story." its little baby 19 year old Taylor and she's cute and funny and self-mocking. I did laugh when you talked about how you were'nt going to cry...hehehe, its EVERMORE! I cant even listen to Tolerate it...its too painful and too close to home.

Lori Paximadis

I was going to write the same thing. It really is something all together as one piece. Give yourself that gift of watching straight through again just for yourself, Luke.

Emily

you during willow: I’m not going to cry this time all of us, knowing that marjorie, champagne problems and tolerate it were coming up: 👁️👄👁️

Emily

but on the bright side, reputation is next and while you fully might cry during the audience shots, at least the songs aren’t too emotional!! also I like that u get emotional like this, it seems so genuine. I cry every time I hear a lot of these songs. Evermore is my favourite era but there’s not one I don’t like. But I think that evermore has her best songwriting and I love her more stripped back/acoustic songs.

Jillian Stamatelos

I was watching livestreams from Tokyo and I noticed how much more clearly you could hear Taylor because the crowd wasn’t screaming ! I didn’t realize that was a “thing”

Jillian Stamatelos

Not sure if someone said it , but in person the applause after Champagne Problems lasts like 10 minutes

Lisa Atkinson

Feeling emotional is perfectly normal. I think you’re just feeling the love and the energy of the crowd. Taylor has a connection with her fans through her music that is phenomenal. It’s love and nostalgic and acceptance and it’s pure. 💕

Mariposaa13

Oh, you need to see TikTok videos of the girlies at the eras tour in japan there is a emotion

elizabethjewels_20

Poor Luke, thinking he could hold out on *EVERMORE* of all eras? Possibly the most emotional era.

Erica Brabbin

It's good to feel your feels, Luke. You're clearly a very empathetic person. People that are rude about that are the red flags, not you!!

Bryan Daves

Your boys are so lucky to be raised by a father who has an open heart and is full of empathy. Taylor is an empath and that’s why she is able to connect on a molecular level with so many people. It’s also why you are able to connect so deeply with all of us. You are cut from the same cloth. The world needs people like you and Taylor more than ever. Taylor reduces me to tears on a daily basis and watching her do the same to you is a joy

Bryan Daves

During Marjorie, all of the phones that people are holding up have pictures of Taylor’s grandmother on them. That’s why the screens are facing Taylor

Kerri

I saw her night 3 in Nashville- we were the rain show and she didn’t start until 10pm. I still get emotional when I watch this and was a complete hot mess at the concert. We were so thankful she was willing to wait out the worst of the storm and still play rather than canceling it- we hung out until after 1am and it was 1000% worth it! ps- I joined your Patreon just for Taylor- I love watching Swifties in the making and seeing the raw emotions that her haters never get to experience..

Tracy

I was at Nashville N3 too!!! I second all of this 🫶🏻💕

Rea

okay this is kinda random and i feel like no one else will recommend it but i NEED you to listed to taylor performing holy ground in tokyo last week i just know you’ll love it

Rachel

Why do you even try not to cry anymore? I’ve been here since 2012 and Taylor still makes me cry regularly!! 😆🫶🏼🫶🏼

ThatNorwegianGuy

Maybe once you’re done with the ERAs tour, you can check out the «errors tour». Its pretty funny to see sometimes, when things dosen’t actually go as planned.

Gordon Werner

I got to see her here in Seattle on the Eras tour (the concert where we all caused a small earthquake) … I was just a casual fan before that, I think it took me like ten seconds to finally get why she has such a devoted following ツ

Lisa Holeman

I wasn't able to read all the posts so far, people are being SO nice politely suggesting that you watch all of it then react. I'm at a point already that I've yelled at you through my phone. You're so kind and I'm so impressed that you're not afraid to show emotions!! That being said...Dude, just cry and shut up for at least a couple of minutes so you can hear everything that's being done on stage. I enjoy your posts and your reactions, talk all you want before and after.

Annika

“I’m not feeling emotional today” Me: oh you just wait for Marjorie. (I can’t hear it without crying. One of my favourites).

Annika

Ohhh TTPD is going to destroy you 😭😅

Andree Kelly

Everything Taylor writes comes from her gut!!!

miley not so cyrus

GOT: I'm not gonna cry today Me, knowing Tolerate it is coming: okay buddy

Tayla Dennis

Not me laughing when you said you weren't going to cry but I knew Marjorie, Champagne Problems and Tolerate It were coming! 😂

Cara M

I was sad the red transition wasn’t on the movie. It was so cool singing the end of each song snippet with everyone!!

Tawni Creta

This was amazing Luke lol. I love Evermore! You should also watch I Don’t Wanna Live Forever live at Super Saturday! Her voice is amazing in that. Also, Death By A Thousand Cuts and CORNELIA STREET from Lover From Paris ❤️

Teresa Ashley

I also recommend giving yourself permission to rewatch these eras, or any of her videos/music privately RIGHT AFTER you do your reaction. Keeping that initial massive emotional release that she evokes while intellectually going over the symbolism and lyrics. It's where her power lies, in the second viewing/listening. She doesn't act out the songs - she relives them. That's why is convincing, it's real.

Nicole

Crying to Marjorie live is a unifying Swiftie experience. My grandpa passed away just two months after she released evermore so Marjorie has always hit really hard, but my sister and I SOBBED to it on opening night of Eras tour in Arizona because we didn't expect it on the setlist, and it just reminds us of him so much. 🤎

Natawsha wedel

You won't see this in person but you will the fabulous ttpd set 🫶♥️

Charlotte Matthews

The way you think you won’t cry to evermore is so precious 😆

Katilyn

It really is as seamless in person and looks pretty much identical to what you see in the film. The only thing that doesn’t happen in person is the words popping up saying the era that we’re transitioning to. You’ll also see a few things in person that were cut from the film to cut down on the time. Also, those trees literally come right out of the ground on the stage! She honestly planned every single detail down to the confetti. She’s always been that way and meticulous about planning out every single detail. When she released her album Lover, Target had four collectors editions that were journals and actually had her own personal journal entries from when she was a teenager in high school up until her life leading up to around the time of the reputation era. In one of the journals, she actually explains her planning out the Speak Now tour and she even has the drawing of how she wants the stage setup and props. It’s amazing. What’s even crazier is the very short amount of time she gets changed. When the stage lowers and she disappears to go into the next era, that’s the very short time she’s given to quickly change into the next gorgeous outfit. Usually, she goes down the trap door below stage and she has a little cart that helps her travel super fast from one end of the gigantic stage to get to the other to change at rapid speed. She even has a few wardrobe changes on stage, including one that’s done in about 20 seconds and mid song. Since she added The Tortured Poets Department there’s another wardrobe change during that too. I can’t wait for you to go see it and experience it in person!

Alysha

You - "I won't cry" Me = "Lol ok"

Liliana Zamora

I cry when im sad, when im happy, when i see people cry, when i see lots of people sing so yeah im exactly like you with every Taylor Swift video i have seen, when i watched the eras tour on cinemas last year i didnt know lost of her songs but i was crying for the whole atmosfere.
