2023-12-25 05:32:53 hmm the difficulty with subtitles here is part of why some people wanted the Dub, there is a lot of activity both on screen and in dialogue and since the dub and Sub are about = in quality the Dub is often a overall better experience for native English speakers. Did he cut a scene? What nudity occurred during this episode for him to go on that rant? Really though the amount of nudity in this anime can be counted on one hand missing a few fingers. Excluding the OP. Maybe we should vote or Ishuzoku Reviewers just so he would have perspective on close broadcast anime has got to hentai.

Britannia is an Empire, so by definition it's constantly trying to expand, preying on weaker countries and subjugating them, stripping them of their names(calling them Areas) and its people of their own nationalities(cllaing them Numbers, like Elevens). The battle we see Cornelia in is presumably one of those, a country where Britannia is just finishing its conquest. Also, I'd like to brign attention to the term Cornelia uses to refer to herself and Euphemia: "Direct sisters". This means that they share a mother. The Emperor has multiple wives, and dozens of children with them. Cornelia & Euphy and Lelouch & Nunnally are the only pairs of direct siblings I remember were mentioned in the series. They have other half-siblings, but no mention is ever made of their mothers. Just pointing out a comment made by Cornelia that explains why she will always seem closer to Euphy than her other siblings.

It shows Nunnally naked. Japan has been very sensor heavy for a long time, but also during this time, a lot of the world allowed pretty much any type of nudity in movies since it was seen as artistic so there are many movies with such nudity. It wasn't long after this that that changed but it is still up (this doesn't have it but think of those "times are different but we have not altered this move" warnings we get now.

CC (Pronounced C2) is my most favorite character in the series, followed closely behind by Euphemia. They're both so amazing! Euphy's voice, however, doesn't have the same gentle kindness to it as the English Dub does. I hope you get around to posting the poll soon.

The voice acting is sub-par and the mistranslations are so bad that it impacts your ability to understand the plot at some points. That's why I take the Dub vs. Sub thing on a case by case basis

Nudity? Not much. But there is a table scene. The comparison to Deatnote is just because the main character is actually the antagonist. And they're both smart. While both Light and Lulu are strategists, Lulu is also a tactician. He is in the fray and doesn't hesitate to get his hands dirty.

The talk at the end. Seems out of place for an episode without any nudity in it. Really this series could of been Youtube with a couple scenes blurred or cut. Of course there may be copyright issues on YT to deal with though.

You have not watched any anime with fanservice. Code Geass has quite a bit of fanservice. Fanservice is good. Also, Cornelia was in the Middle East, subjugating it for the Empire. She said at the beginning that they had just conquered the new Area 18. So now the people in the Middle East are going to have their names stripped away and just be called "18s." The reason I'm assuming Middle East is because the castle she destroyed looked very Arabian.

"The nudity is not as common in anime". You must be unfamiliar with the entire genre of Ecchi anime xD If you're ever interested in making another Patreon exclusive from that genre, I have a few recommendations of some that have more to them than just generic plot to wrap all the fanservice in. None of them are truly a masterpiece tier like some of the ones you're watching right now, but they still have decent plots and it is a very interesting experience to go into an anime that has such a different approach to tell a story when there is completely no censorship regarding nudity, short of the actual intercourse. - Highschool DxD: Probably the most popular one that most people would be interested in seeing the reaction of. Goes a bit downhill by the end, but the first couple seasons are almost on par with some of the better regular anime out there. - Seikon no Qwaser: Has an interesting concept of chemistry-based super powers, and is probably the one to stretch the limits of the genre furthest (among the action based ones at least) - Sora no Otoshimono: It is a lot more slapstick comedy based, but at the same time can be strangely serious at times, so you never really know if it's a comedy filler or serious development episode. That contrast alone makes it worth checking out. Also for whatever reason it has an unique ED song for EVERY EPISODE (yes that is 25+ endings if for whatever reason you'd ever want to do endings reaction of it lol)

It is worth mentioning that no other empire did it like Britannia does in the anime. Generally, empires attempt to incorporate the conquered countries culture in the governing of that area, creating a synthesis. In the roman empire this was to the point of incorporating conquered peoples gods as subordinates of the roman gods. So every pantheon was technically part of the roman pantheon, just as followers of the major roman gods.

Hmm nudity in anime... Try the good old Ranma 1/2 from legendary mangaka Takahashi Rumiko. FYI she also created Inuyasha, an older isekai that could show you something that the never didn't 😉

the revealing stuff is worse in the second season, its pretty tame so far xD also side note the subtitles are 1:1 what the english dub says if theres ever a change to the other.

Onomatopoeia is the use or creation of a word that phonetically imitates, resembles, or suggests the sound that it describes. Like WHOOSH or BOOM. And japanese has alot more of those words to make sound effects than other big languages. Which is my personal theory as to why imitated sfx by an actor is more common in anime!

Oh, another Death Note similarity. CC is LeLouch's shinigami. 11:40 Why do humans do animal sound fx in anime? In the US, when animated shows do the voice recording, you have ONE actor in the soundbooth talking into a microphone. The director will say ok or do it again. In Japan much of the cast is in the studio and they talk to each other when doing the dialog. Since the cat's meow and Euphie's talking are to each other - you get better emotion with 2 humans instead of trying to match a cat recording to Euphie.

Lelough isn`t arrogant or crazy compared to Light especially further down the story where Light almost fully looses it. It`s more like being determined to cast himself out for his cause different compared to Light for example. He was seeing almost everyone as unimportant while Lelouch just acknowledges that damage will be inflicted and he will be the one doing it with or without the power and that makes him the villain. The back and forth ideology scene between Suzaku and Lelouch is so much like - I am justice scene between L and Light but here they do have totally different views while L and Light had only 1 difference one was in legal position to be the justice but the rest was pretty much the same both just wanted someone as good as them to play against. Aldo the foreshadowing for literally las ep of CG from ep 5 is insane

Love Luke , saying there isn’t much nudity in anime 🤣 90’s anime had a lot more going on really than shows these days, but that’s far from saying there isn’t anything going on today either. Some can be borderline porn at times. Like World’s End Harem. Ecchi is a whole sub genre that can be risqué . Geass is just slightly above average for its content.

I don't know, Luke, it seems like you haven't quite realized anime culture yet. One of the reasons why many people find anime strange is because of the abundance of sexuality where it is not necessary at all. I'm not even talking about the fact that there is even a separate genre of anime where this is the main theme. Maybe you just haven't gone down the hole enough 😂

I honestly don't remember if there's more nudity or not. There is however a muted, very poorly lit scene at one point that is sexual in nature and might not be suitable for youtube.

Both the sub and dub are amazing. With all this "trouble" you're having...maybe just switch to dub lol. While I don't remember much full on nudity there is PLENTY of fanservice, so this may continue to be a problem for you.

I think the season 1 remains very good until the end so don't worry regarding that. Even if I didn't like the second season as much, as it was really too nonsensical for me, but well most people loved it for some reason. I think that by limiting itself to Japan, the story in season 1 had just enough credibility for me to be invested in it (even if there already were some inconsistencies, but I didn't mind if it was just that much).
