as the season progresses you will start to understand just how cool of a concept the trial is. Its excellent

Echidna isn't really bad imo, I think she is in my top 5 favorite characters in Re:Zero. I love the trials, but the anime cuts so much, the LN goes into so much detail to make you feel how hard it would be.

I haven't watched the second season more then once yet and the foreshadowing in the backgrounds (doors) ist just too good. Sadly Luke does not see it like I didn't the first time.

Roswaal is not an idiot. He bet everything on Subaru because he know that he is still winning even if Emilia, Subaru, and everyone in his domain died. Even if Puck will destroy the world, Roswaal did fight Puck before. And there is this knight with absolute luck in the kingdom that can kill Puck if it is necessary. 🤭

The story is that it'll be after he catches up with Frieren and Spy Family. So sometime in January maybe? It's never been explained why recording the film was so difficult nor why Frieren and Spy Family are so important that they have to be caught up with immediately (and not simply watched a bit behind their airings) and before Rebellion. Anyway, I've kind of lost interest in it now. It's been too long so I don't expect his reaction will sync well with the details of the series (unless he watches it again beforehand).

Not sure they really count (did he attempt it more than once?) - he couldn't save Rem and so never really achieved any progress. But yes, technically, it was RBD.

Thanks for the information. I don't watch his spy or Frieren reaction so I literally had no idea what was his plan. Still kinda sad but it is what it is. I just hope people advise him to recap the last 2 episode before watching the movie so he will remember the important stuff. Thanks again!

Is there still any real story in One Piece? After all those episodes I'd expect it to be 'sausage machine' output by now - each new episode spat out just to keep the franchise alive. Plus it's a mammoth undertaking - At 1100+ episodes Luke would have to watch about 21 episodes a week (3 a day) to get up to date in a year.

"subaru no baka!" God I love Emilia. It's this episode and the ones going forward that changed my perspective on her. As far as the trial goes, yes, it's breaking her. But she has to confront her past and when you have a painful, horrible past confronting it is gonna break you because the you with that past needs to be broken in order to accept it, move past it and begin healing. Some of my favourite scenes are coming soon. I hope it reduces you to a blubbering mess 😂☺️

I'm assuming you didn't watch One Piece. That's definitely not the case. One Piece's plot is still going and better than ever for this matter. It may seem too long for now but as soon as Luke get into the plot i don't see how he wouldn't want to just, you know, keep going.

No, I haven't watched it. It's just difficult for me to imagine an anime going on and staying interesting for that long. If Luke watches it on twitch and does his typical 5 episodes at a time, it's over a 4 year effort to get through the current ones (and by then there will be more out of course). That's a BIG anime for you.

It was delayed because he was starting code geass and the first episode of every Patreon exclusive goes up on YouTube, so there would be 3 anime reactions on YouTube that day if he did not skip Parasyte.

The guy above said more or less the same thing but I think you guys are worrying too much about finishing or catching up the anime. Like, you don't need to rush to finish the anime, just watch it and enjoy it. Let's even say that Luke could take breaks from It. After finishing an arc, he takes a break to watch another anime and come back to OP later, for example. That's how I did it myself when I watched it for the first time.

I can tell you were concerned when she said there is 3 trials in total cause you dont want them all to be full or multiple episodes that diverge from the main story dont worry about the trials, the rest are all done very well i dont think youll have any issues with any of them from here

tbf the first death feels more like the ending of season 1s last arc, and the sanctuary arc begins right after that and there had been no deaths since being there

I love One piece, I've read the manga and im on epiosde 467 in the anime but this should be the last one to get pick considering how long it was take to finish. If he watched One Pace than maybe it was be good. I think HxH or JoJos would be best

Keep in mind, this is the trial of the past they are going through. Subaru passed it with flying colors. But as we saw in the Frozen Bond OVA, something isn't right about her past. Remember how you had a lot of questions after that OVA, well, many of those questions will be answered in this season. Including what happened in Emilia's village and why she's freaking out. The only reason I'm mentioning these "spoilers" is because what I'm mentioning is insanely vague, and all of the things I've mentioned here are in the trailers for the two cours of season two. And as an anime only (yet at least, plan on reading the novel at some point), seeing the trailers, I still couldn't predict coming events even if I'd hade years. Anyway, sorry for the longwinded response.

Well Subaru's anime superpower is his mental strength, but he literally just cried last episode about his parents so yeah he isn't stoneclad at all. Do you even remember episode 14 & 15 from last season :D. I find it funny how strangely different take Luke has on the show, but this is why I like reactions everyone have their own way of viewing things.

What is the need to see him watch an opening every episode? Makes no sense. Even reactors that don't skip through openings normally talk through them anyway because they've already seen it. Passed the initial reaction to the opening there is no tangible benefit for him not skipping the opening.

He skips all openings and then it's funny when opening OST plays and he has no idea and comments he likes this music. But my point for in this comment was that there is like only 2-3 openings total in season 2 of Re:Zero and they really don't spoil at all and would have just enhanced his experience for the show if he had watched them when they played. Anyway Luke never watches openings so don't much matter what I said.

Well that's just it, he watched the openings only out of context. Seeing it in the actual anime with everything he knows so far and what is to come hits way different than watching them before he knows anything about the show. Even the reactors that talk through them have moments where something about the opening catches their eye so don't pretend like they do it for no reason. I get skipping openings if you binge 10 episodes but cmon, it's barely 2 minutes.
