I think Tamiya Ryoko is considered so scary because having control of the head generally makes you stronger but Migi has helped them overcome that with intellect. With her, however, the intellect is also very high so she's super dangerous.

Here we go! Definitely going to watch on YouTube too so you can get the watch time :)

Man, this is sad episode. No spoilers though

Thamor

Oh no Luke, you doomed us all with your predictions again.

I think most of why Migi was afraid of Tamiya was because she had more morpho patterns, I think it's just that she could wield even more blades against them that even Migi couldn't handle the amount of blades. That is most of why Migi was afraid of her and of course like you said her intelligent would make here even more dangerous on how she would use those blades.

I watched this when it came out so I don’t remember much of it, but your reactions are priceless 😂

The baby is fine for now. At least he has 5~6months to develop and be born. Since Tamiya is also "looking forward" to his birth, she won't do anything reckless for the time being. Also, the thing with the teachers meeting is the sad reality in the Japanese society that is built on appearances in the eyes of the environment and work colleagues rather than individuality.

I really enjoy watching along an anime I don't remember how it goes really well. Heavenly delusion would be so perfect to watch after this anime. Looking forward to that.

next episode will sure be interesting.

Silvio Guidi

yeah i think that's also what is going on in spy famility with yor's collegue

Frentzy

My question would be: How is a benefit swapping head with a baby. Sure it would 'live longer'. but having a baby body that can get easy sick seems a poor choice.

TSP

I haven't watched this since it aired and I don't remember much, so this has been a pretty fun watchalong/rewatch.

Sai

The baby is the parasite of the parasyte.

Brian

Exactly. It's not just a horror It's also a poorly told story that's easy to forget.

Im envious of those you surround yourself with, you're probably more fun than a carnival Brian.

Brian

It's okay not to like a particular story. Should only comments applauding this mediocre anime be allowed?

2023-11-25 09:32:10 your comparing a show from 2014 to shows now that are exceptional. I have a feeling you started with crazy good shows, and now that you finished those, all you can watch is 'bad' shows. You might like light novels that can go into more detail than anime can. (This was a reply to Brian, somehow got turned into a comment.)

It's fine to have opinions, it's just that it can come off as entitled in a way when you state your opinion as if it's objective

Platinum

I agree with TKD. Im not even a big fan of Parasyte, but its always irritated me when people state their opinion as if its fact. Im all for having an opinion, but putting down something other people have a positive opinion of is unnecessary.

Majoz

i think its really good? give some reasons for it being mediocre? how is it bad?

Frentzy

There are a few shows luke reacted that I wasn't 100% a fan, and those that I disliked I just didn't watched. To "actually" write a negative comment about a show it means it affected you in such high negative ways, for e.g i'd hate a show, if my current GF is toxic and force me to watch a show with her, then we break up later on and I had a horrible time overall. I'd remember that show and hate it for a long time. I don't believe a "show" itself can brew within someone hate, so gotta be personal relationships(forced to watch, or forced recommendation).

Daniel V

give him time.Watching anime has its up and downs not every anime is 10/10 anime there is some that are bad some that are hightly rated that will not be enjoyed by you as other people will.Like i dont enjoy JJK shibuya, but Luke fucking enjoys it and says its one of the best.Opinion differs

Sai

Well duh. That is how it works. People vote for what they think are best first.

Eliana

I'd think the parasyte could have better control over the whole body since it would be growing along with the baby

Aaren YASS

I think she was implying perhaps the more Shinichis will changes, there's more "Migi" influence? It becomes clearer later on, but i think it's because his mindset has changed a little. He did basically kill "a guy" even though that dude was already a psycho as a human. -
