Here is the FULL and UNBLURRED reaction to ATTACK ON TITAN Season 4 the FINAL CHAPTER PT.2!

Enjoy!

Comments

Cory

It's funny, I subbed to your Patreon to watch AOT, and I still haven't watched your reaction to it yet. I'll have to do that in the next few weeks. I hope you enjoyed it, and I guess I'll see in a few weeks.

Lusanagi17

Shouldn't you be sleeping?? Thank you for this!!

Eva

Shinzou wo Sasageyo!!! Just finished watching it myself! A masterpiece

L.C.

Bro really put "crying" in the thumbnail

L.C.

Anyways I can finally trash this series without having to deal with people complaining about being spoiled. The ending is shit. The series ever since the timeskip happened in the manga has been going down the shithole. Everything was rushed in some aspects and certain things weren't done properly. Its all just lame and a waste of time by the end of it. Eren is a wussy.

ミッシェル

I really am so happy!! You've grown so much!! I love your videos! And you bring me so much joy 🥹💗

Jordy_EMS

My hearts filled knowing theyve concluded one of the best animes of all time with the perfect ending.

Wingsxofxfreedom

It's been a great ride with your aot reactions. It's why I subscribed. happy to watch the end with all you fellow patreons.

Omer Durrani

Thank you for this amazing journey together Luke <3

ItZ OWL

Just finished watching it just to see you did as well, i am so depressed rn

Acerama

I would watch this right now, but its 12:30 am for me, so I'll check this out tomorrow. After I've had some time to process my own reaction to the finale 😂

Nat

Your attack on titan reactions have been my favorite ones to watch! It's been fun to almost rewatch the series with someone who's never seen it. Aot was my first anime 10 years ago and it's crazy seeing it finally end now, I basically grew up with this story (started it in middle school and I graduated college last year!!) so it's like saying goodbye to an old friend

Keni

I cried throughout the whole thing and still am, man I don't ever cry at shows. It's gonna be one more decade until we get another anime of this caliber.

Fay X84

The Goat beast titan is Ksaver The hairy torso titan is Grisha. The titan who used a wrestling move is Eren Krueger. The jaw titans are Ymir and the Galliard brothers Porco and Marcel (eaten by Ymir in flashback)

SkyMina

The End

Naomi

I can't believe this masterpiece of a show is finally over. Thank you Isayama, and everyone who helped let us experience this absolute peak, goodbye Attack On Titan we will miss you😭💕

ItZ OWL

Bro ive been watching you since you first started watching aot! its been quite a journey and im glad i stuck around, can't wait to see how you grow!

Steven H.

I’ve been with you since you announced that you’d start reacting to AOT! Although i read the manga, this still completely broke my heart. After eren talked to armin and explained everything, he erased armins whole memory of that convo until eren died and he’d get that memory back. He snapped back to the real world when he was on the boat before he started flirting with annie. Also, you could see in the credits that Jean and Mikasa actually end up being together and having a child. 10/10 AOT is generational, and will be solidified as one of the best anime of all time! Im glad i saw the first season when it first came out and painstakingly waited so long for more! My Journey with the AOT anime started in 2013 and ended 10 years later, so bittersweet!

SpiderBedo

All this time, people were arguing whether it would be Mikasa or Historia, but we were all wrong. It was Armin

Steven H.

Eren didn’t want to die, he wanted to stay with mikasa and his friends, but that couldn’t happen even if he tried. He was a slave to fate, he was essentially born to die. Crying and being emotional with armin finally made eren look human again, and not some edgy sigma murderer that the rest of you wanted him to be.

Toidleboy

lmao found the salty one who couldnt identify a well crafted story and good writing if it slapped them in the face

Bree

I’ve been watching you since before you started AOT, and I’ve enjoyed every single one of your reactions including this once since you started watching the anime. Thank you for sharing your genuine reactions with us and keeping them entertaining. What an emotional journey it’s been 💜

SpiderBedo

I think I've been here since you started aot. I think I started just cause I wanted to see your reaction to ep 5 lol, but it's been a journey!! I've been a fan for over three years and honestly I'm beside myself with the finale

Piixel

Ranol

I found your channel thanks to your reactions to AoT's first two chapters. It's been a long journey, and I've enjoyed watching AoT, Madoka Magica, MiA, FMAB, etc with you. You match my energy, I was TEARS by the end of this reaction. You're amazing, Luke, thanks for making me feel less alone every day <3

SILHOUETTE_20

I was luke, frome episode 1 pal.

Jordy_EMS

been here since day 1 and it never fails to amaze me how beautiful of a human you are brother i hope you and your family are forever blessed

Harie

The tree... It became the same as the tree where Ymir got her titan power. History always repeats itself.

Fay X84

Well bros never betray you! Annie kicked his ass and abducted him. Historia tried to eat him. Mikasa practically killed him. Bro Armin hugged him, cried for him, and told him he would go to hell with him! 😉

Juan Contreras

I found your channel cause of AOT been here since then

Lex

In season 1 armin had to convince that aren is the ally of human, in the final seeason armin has to convince that they are humans, btw the singer of the ed is Mikasa.

Kitsune

Thank you for your anime reactions! I've been here since you started AoT. I needed another excuse to rewatch it when I thought it was finally gonna end last season and I'm glad I saw your channel! For us fans who've first watched AoT in 2013, it's been a long 10 years until we get to see the series finally end. It's always been good rewatching it especially with friends who will see it the first time because the call backs and connections are all rewarding. But that was when the series wasn't over yet. I feel like the rewatch will feel different for me and others now after seeing that heartbreaking ending. It's hard to let go of these characters now that it's over. My copium wishes for a "What If" side stories of AoT. After AoT, I'm excited to see more of your reactions, especially with Re:zero now. Personally I'd put Vinland Saga as the next big thing you can react to next to AoT but the animes aren't gonna end soon yet.

SkyMina

We all have been doing this lame thing tho , it is "War". I think its fine if you don't like what you watch, since it your opinion. But you should at least learn what you have watch and take it with you for the rest of your life. That way then you can truly appreciate it.

Animeter

It's okay i guess. Not the best anime (it went downhill after the time skip) but a solid 8/10, imo.

Klein Moretti

If you look closely in eren’s final moments his eyes were red because he was crying the whole time whilde doing the rumbling 🥲

Polotoph

Me acuerdo que empece a seguir tu canal porque me gustaban tus reacciones a snk y estabas en la primera temporada, a pasado un tiempo, que loco

Sam

You sound like you’re fun at parties… Why pay someone to hate watch? Just like, do something else and let people enjoy stuff.

Mitsuhiro

Its been amazing following you through this journey, been here with ya since you started. Been a pleasure, and hope to see you continue watching many more anime's. I do hope you get to watch Goblin Slayer soon, It's personaly one of my favorites, and a new season finally came. I think you would find it quite an interesting anime. Cheers to many more anime's in your future.

Sorcerer

Watch the credits. There is some after credits scenes.

Lexi Browning

Out of this entire finale, including part 1, the scene that gets me the most is Part 1's end credits. The person walking is Mikasa, but our visual is from Eren's head in her arms. We're Eren watching Mikasa carry us to the tree to be buried. I think about that all the time and it always brings me to tears

Orieng

Damn.... that ending hit hard... Damn...

MorningStar

I think I found you a little before you started Attack on Titan, it's been a journey. This anime was also my first, back in 2013. I was 13 years old, and I remember being under my covers watching it on my laptop, scared a little because of the brutality but also very interested. I can't believe that decade journey has finished today, all the things I've gone through since then with Attack on Titan in my life. I'm glad it was your first anime, because it's a special one, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Taraster33

I have not been a super long viewer of your channel, however I began watching your AoT videos probably starting around second season. Binged watched like 2 full seasons and have been a fan since.

Animeter

Agree, AOT after time skip is wasted potential, big times. The ending is one of the worst possible and Eren is a extremly unlikeable and bad written MC, imo.

Animeter

Okay it's your opinion, but this show isn't even in my top 10 anymore. I think it's extremely overrated.

Gavin Wong

I have been with you since I saw you started reacting to anime songs

[ GMAN ]

Amazing. It's been great seeing your Attack on Titan reactions up until now. I know it felt like forever to finaly get here, however, the journey was incredible. I'm glad to have experienced this ending with you.

Sikk Karuzo

"Fun"Fact for People who didnt read the Manga. Hajime Isayama "teased" already in Chapter 1 that Eren will die and be killed by Mikasa. BTW i new the ending and was broken too. I never understood why the ending got so much hate, as u said its the perfect ending for AoT. a random happyend wouldnt fit.

ミッシェル

Yes you said it. It couldn't have a better end

ミッシェル

O yes!! I've been with you since the start we love you!!

Manaar Habaal

Crazy ending, cant believe it. Some parts were kinda confusing, especially the part where Eren and Mikasa lived together happily, but its definetely a 10/10. I am really recommending you to check out Vinland Saga after this. Would be awesome if you did, i know you would absolutely LOVE it.

Alexander

Here's the german part of the credits song translated: "When the world has broken the boy's sword, he will reach the top of the skyscraper and look down on the Tower of Babel with laughter. Hate and Rage are a double-edged blade, history repeats itself" It's a callback to the full version of the first ever AOT Opening, that had german parts about the boy from back then (Eren) soon picking up a black sword and to bare his fangs against fate. It had the exact same phrasing with Hatred and Rage being a double-edged blade

Sol-Edge

Same here from the very first episode

Kenzie Marie

What ending did you want exactly? It ALL makes sense, beginning to end, and we ALL agree it fucking HURTS - but it doesn't suck and it isn't a bad ending. It's realistic. We were never going to get a happy ending. All of these characters, eren included, were doomed from the very start. Great writing, amazing plot, and really makes you look at what us going on in the real world. The cycle of hatred always repeats, humans suck

nordiclight

I started watching your reactions right as Eren was about to face off against Annie for the first time in the forest, I cannot describe to you how much you've done for me, seeing all these series alongside you has been one of the few joys of my life this last year. I'm so happy I was able to watch the last episode for the first time alongside you and share the amazing experience that attack on titan is. That being said, I don't think I've ever been more terrified watching a story end as I was seeingt the tree Eren and Mikasa got burried under turn into the same type of tree Ymir fell into, starting everything again.

Yami Youssouf

there is so much i want to say but instead I will say Shinzou wo Sasageyo

Ameth

I think the scene at the cabin with eren and mikasa happened. But it happened in the paths. Remember how when Gabi shot erens head off, him and zeke spent forever in the paths in the span of like 1 millisecond. I think that happened with Mikasas last headache on Falco, they lived some time in the paths and before they separated Eren told mikasa how to kill him and where he was, which is how she knew where to find him.

Smonolith

This really was inevitable. Eren has always chosen the violence option when solving problems, and this was it. Humans being humans war was inevitable to break out again as well. But we don't live to multiply, wage war and die. There's breaks between the awful time periods. Times where not much bad is happening. Times where you can just nap under a tree, or explore an old forest with your dog. Will this mystery person restart the titan horrors? Who knows? We might never find out, that's a different story. This was the story of the shingeki no kyojin, the attack titan.

Tekku

I've discovered you around the middle of your AOT s1 reacions and I've been here since then. I love your reactions. For the past year your content made me happier and I keep waiting for another anime to watch here or on Twitch. I don't have that much free time to watch everything unfortunately, because of University. I'll catch up with some anime series you reacted to for sure, when I have a bit more time!

Leanne Stephenson

I think people get a bit confused, the alternate reality with Mikasa and Eren was if she answered him differently when asked 'how do you see me' and not respond 'as family'. Armin amd Eren are seeing all the sights if the world in the book Armin showed Eren in Ep 1. Bittersweet ending I like to think theyre all reunited in death but completely agree this is an ending fitting of AOT.

Addstir

There is no way he can end the franchise with THAT character dying that'd ever satisfy me, gave the finale overall a 5/10. Part 1 was an 8 or 9 for me, Part 2 up until that death was a 7 and the ending is a 1 or 2/10 for me. I've seen over 500 anime, and I now truly get why this was named the worst manga ending of all time, it doesn't fit any of the original themes, and it's just boring. I cry SO EASILY at anime, heck we did a watchalong of Twilight and I've seen it twice but the ending made me cry. Yet I didn't cry once during this finale of something I've looked forward to for 10ish years... Oh well, I've already been disappointed like this by many series, I won't name them for spoiler purposes, but overall this ending just won't sit well with me. Hopefully, there are alternate endings written and adapted, a manga reader told me that may happen.

Toasterfinal5

The moment you watched the AOT openings is when I started to follow you. Soon after that, I subscribed & joined patreon. This has been one incredible journey and glad You took us along for this ride. You have my sincere gratitude.

Luca Martellucci

thank you for all your reactions, i was here since the start

WhatAtime2Balive

Hey, I started watching your reaction around ep 12, man what a jorney it was, rewatching AoT with you, reliving these moments was so nice. I'm thankfull for your honest reaction to my favorit show, please keep doning these reactions als long as you love to do it. I'm really happy with how the show ended . Just like you said, it just fits. Seeing what's going on in the world right now just reminds me how true the message is that Attack on Titan is trying to tell us. If we don't lay down our weapons and start talking to each other the circel off killing will never end...

MaxValion

Thank you for your reactions to Attack on Titan. Have been enjoying watching them since episode one.

L.C.

The amount of full on cringe AOT Rtards in the comments. Gotta love it.

Mohid Ahmed

Pixis to Eren at the beginning of the show: "If a powerful external threat were to appear, humanity would cease its wars and unite." It seems Eren eventually became that common threat that forced Marleyans and Eldians to unite and fight against this bigger threat. Then as centuries passed, conflicts between humans started again leading to Paradis waging war against the world and then getting destroyed in return.

2023-11-05 14:29:37 From start of your AOT yourney to finish, firstly on youtube and now later on patreon I was here with you. And to add to this, I have been an anime only for the past 10 years, what a life changing journey it was, the anime as well as real life itself. It brings closure, sadness and pain with this bittersweet ending. Personally I like to think Eren got reincarnated hundreds of years after this nuclear war und is currently traveling with his dog buddy the free world, exploring the remnants of civilization and maybe starting a new founding titan once again or at the very least only finding his ancient grave.

AngelGxbriel

Been here, well on yt first, since the anime reactions started and have loved the journey ever since.

donald cuck

L.C its not the first time i see u in comments, back then u were sub to nicholaslightTV's patreon and u were always complaining, u still r a piece of shit who likes bitching on every comments, when i see you around its like no one can make their own opinion, u are here saying everything is shit and i never read one positive comment of yours, let people enjoy their shit and never comment again if its just for complaining about everything (btw sry about that negative comment, this guy just annoy me because he is very toxic)

Kevin Vang

That setting at the end credits gives Nier Automata vibes. Mikasa reincarnate as 2B confirmed. Same voice actress. Jokes aside, I followed through your anime journey since AOT ep 1 and watched all of your anime reactions, at least for the ones that I have already seen.

Jinrocker

I tried arguing the fact that it was never a top 10, as there are so many anime that are fantastic from start to finish, but I got shut down pretty hard last year. It's a great anime, but it does not, nor did it ever, deserve to be on a top 10 of all time, especially considering the fact that it largely takes most of the themes from Code Geass and does them worse, and takes longer to do so. If you know, you know.

Hugo

AHH LUKE, I WILL MISS THIS SO MUCH ;cc, but the journey was amazing!!

Lu C

When I started to follow your YT channel (oct22) I was happy to watch your reactions and speculations. You using your brain and create theories and hypothesis is the most entertaining 💖

Eero Kangas

I started watching your AOT reactions around the time you posted your ep. 9 reaction, been here ever since, it's been a long and sad road.

TheReveredNinja

I discovered your channel when you started your AoT reactions, Luke. AoT for you is how Naruto was for me back in the mid 2000s. I'm so glad you enjoyed this show and got into anime. I can't wait to see you experience so many other great anime in the upcoming years!

Tekbox

almost but not quite the memories happened before the rumbling but other than that you're correct

Martin Vaclavik

I have found your channel through AoT music reactions and seeing how much you loved it, I thought (and maybe even commented): "yeah, he's gonna start watching this and he's gonna love it" - I witnessed the whole journey and it seems I was correct :D ♥

Sigfried

i came here just to see your reaction to the scene with the baby

wildhunt1973

I've been with you since around August 2022, and it's been an absolute joy. I have a lot of reactions to catch up on because you've watched a lot of series that I have not seen yet, but I can't wait to go back and find them after I watch myself.

Ryan Szuma

Been here sir. Lurking. Not as much anymore, however I've been here.

Some0neElse

I actually found your channel by searching for AoT openings reactions and i saw you had a video of it posted few days earlyer. After that you announced you are starting the anime so i stayed to see how a non-anime viewer will react to the anime. I can definitely see why alot of people wold think the ending isnt as good as they wanted it to be. There is no bittersweet end like in other shows - its just bitter. If i could change one thing in the movie it would be Levi's end. I feel like he should've died then and there with all his dead friends around him saluting him

Nicky Vega

That scene is so heartbreaking I couldn't believe how well they put that together. No matter how many times I see that scene I tear up.

dylan jenkins

I watched from the start to end and now I love to see what you watch next

Pena Panaani

If no one have said it, I'm going to be the one who say it. Eren lives in a time loop, for him this never ends, he live trough those moments again and again and again. Like us, who watch this series over and over again, it's heartbreaking but it happens.

Kalisa Fox

found your channel just as you were dipping your toes into anime openings and such, was here for the first attack on titan episode viewing, what a wild ride.

NicksKicks

Found you through anime opener reactions, right belt you started AOT. I’m gonna miss nitpicking at you about details on AOT but I say thank you GENUINELY for having such heartfelt HONEST reactions and understanding and love for this series.

Tudor Turtu

people like you is what makes me hate anime comunities, demanding AOEs because YOU didn't like it, f### off

Ameth

Mikasa can't have her memories wiped though :/ Being an Ackermann if the cabin actually happened and wasn't a fantasy in her head it had to be real time paths stuff right?

Yuno

I cant remember the first video I saw on your channel, it was either a normal song reaction or an Anime song reaction. either way I've been here since EP 1 of AOT and its been one hell of a ride seeing you grow as an anime fan, thanks for letting us into your life into anime like this <3

Vladilena Milize

A real kicker would be in the Live action movies were actually a sequal

Vladilena Milize

Ive been here from pretty much the beginning, I don't really know how I found the channel or why I clicked and stayed. I just did- and now Im here.

Landlord

In the manga Jean and Mikasa marry later on but it might or might not have been scrapped

Macatony

Absolutely gut-wrenching but beautiful ending. What a masterpiece this was.

Macatony

I don't know what to tell you, but I loved the ending, and I love bittersweet ending stories. Maybe the ending wasn't for you, or maybe you hoped for a happy ending, but to me I think this ending was the most perfectly fitting one for the story.

Brandon Audet

I loved your music reactions on YouTube far before you started doing anime reactions, at which point I decided to join patreon to join this wild ride with you. Thank you for your genuine reactions 😊

Lijnaito2021 !

I don't see what's wrong with the ending it's like kiyomi told floch the battlefield will only get smaller war will only end when there is one last person standing it's inevitable

2023-11-05 23:35:48 I think the ending was realistic to its core- and the timeing of this episode in 2023 is just too good. We thought ww1 and ww2 thought us war is bad and it should not happen anymore in this scale. It is like the rumbling is the resemblance of ww1 and 2 yet wars still happening like in real world where you witness the Russian-Ukraine war and now the Iraq-Iran war.

2024-01-31 14:13:56 I've been with u through the entire Attack on Titan reaction. Even though I don't comment much I'm glad to found a reaction channel that truly appreciates this anime to the level it deserves. Attack on Titan is and probably will remain my favorite anime of all time. I hope we'll discover the next best anime together. All the best to you, Luke. Dedicate your heart! ✊

Regarding your question about why it flashed to Armin on the boat right after the visions Eren and him experience. If you go back to the boat scene Armin sees a bird flying away from him when Annie greets him. Presumably that was Eren 'visiting' him and that's the moment he was given the vision. He just doesn't remember it until the battle ends like Eren said.

Alex Nava

I’ve been here since the beginning ant it was amazing, but I’m very sad that it’s over..

The Coolcg10

I think I joined when you started season 2 of AoT, but I have loved and watched every reaction. I 100% agree that this ending was the one that AoT needed. It may not be what we wanted, but I still like the ending nonetheless.

Suichoku

I think I started watching your content from the One Piece openings reaction. At start I mostly followed your anime music reactions, but then I joined in on anime watch along maybe during season 2 of AoT. Don't know what to feel of this ending, I read the manga after I caught up with the anime.. some parts were even worse in the anime adaption (anime as medium amplifies things), but others were a lot better. Some things make no sense. I think credits scene was anime only thing (might be totally wrong, I don't have the best memory), it did save the show a bit, to like you said give AoT the bad ending, not a "happy" ending. Some other things did save the show even more. I still don't think the manga ending was as bad as people said, at first I didn't hate the manga ending that much, but after reading on it, how things didn't make sense, it got worse... but man was it still an epic anime, one of the best.. reading the manga just made me a bit bitter :( - Suichoku

shootie-san

Damn. The End. It hurts honestly.

Damian

I have been here since the beginning from your first anime reaction and your reactions for Attack on Titan. It was fun seeing your reactions. Can't wait to see what else you react to. There's a lot of great animes and this is just one of them. As a manga reader, when we still unclear of what the ending could've been, it was always obvious that it was never going to be a "Happy" ending. You start this series loving every character, loving the trio Eren, Mikasa and Armin. And the end just give you a gut punch of reality, really just showing that not every story has a happy ending.

Kylerguy77

during the end credits it did show that paradis did get what seems like a few hundred years of peace before being wiped out so I guess it kinda worked? at least for a bit. But like the anime shows its a never ending cycle.

Melasfo

Been here since the first AOT reaction, watched every single possible reaction regarding anime since and will continue to do so.

..ailyn..

I was there from the start👍

Yousef

I found your channel the day you post episode 3 of the first season, oh man I don’t know what to say but thank you I enjoyed rewatching aot with you.. We really went through thick and thin together we cried, laughed and terrified together I’ll miss these reactions. W Luke Fitzpatrick.

Sam

Lol dude go be bitter elsewhere. People who show up in comments just to shit on what other people like are the worst

Eliana

I started following this channel around the 2nd or 3rd episode of AoT. I don't even know how the algorithm got me here because I had never watched reactions before, but I'm glad it did. Luke really feels like a bro you'd watch your stuff together, and I'm so proud of his channel's growth

Eliana

Remember how Eren went missing for a few years after they had a party with the immigrants after arriving at Marley? That's when Eren and Mikasa lived together.

Soulhind

I started knowing you when you were on your 2nd or 3rd episode of Attack on Titan. And I'm sticking with you 'till this day not because I like anime, but because I like you. Let's continue this amazing journey together ^^

Obscuremango

I think I found you on ep6 of AOT, loved every moment, you really stop where you can and say everything, although I want you to voice your thoughts more during the watch but I still enjoy seeing how you react to the whole show and shows. That baby scene broke me a fudge ton. Luke carry on being amazing

Fay X84

If you want a "He married the princess and lived happily till the end" type ending, go watch Disney dude. AOT is not for you😉

CaptainVanisher

Ackerman memories of real events cannot be erased. I assume that since it was in the paths, it affects all Eldians the same.

CaptainVanisher

No it didn't. The time they lived together was in the paths. It was a memory created by Eren with the powers of Ymir. Same with the talk he had with Armin and all the others. Nothing of that sort actually happened, it was just Eren giving Mikasa the alternate story and 4 years living with him peacefully, even if it wasn't reality.

CaptainVanisher

The Eren and Mikasa living together peacefully for 4 years is the alternate reality that Eren created in the paths. It didn't actually happen but it's as if Mikasa and Eren actually lived through it. Eren erased her memory of the event up until the end.

CaptainVanisher

Hard disagree. I've watched some great anime and yet this is still my 2nd favorite. In fact it jumped other anime after final season started airing, it was 6th before that. I've watched around 80 anime btw. As for Code Geass, even hard core fans like Moist Critical at the end put AoT over Code Geass and in my opinion, it is better than Code Geass.

CaptainVanisher

A fat loser like you should try getting a life, because from what @donald cuck is saying, it seems like you suffer from a lot of issues and you clearly do not have any friends or people that care about you. But don't worry, it's not over. You can still change and improve and you can still make true friendships and have a good relationship.

Fay X84

You should try "Attack on Titan: Junior High" It is stupid, hilarious and have some parodies from the main series.

LordDanzo

I think it's fitting ending to the series. But I don't think it was good/satisfying ending. A lot of the problems for me come from introducing Ymir, the creature that gave her the powers, and making Eren so powerful (as in him being able to affect events in the past). However, the adaptation of this episode was really good. I really loved the scene with Mikasa and wings, and the scene where they changed from B&W back to color, just to give some examples. The hype level during the episode was through the roof and it was very good at making you feel things. But still the writing that led to this ending feels underwhelming imo. So, in short, the ending is realistic and fitting, but doesn't feel good because of the writing of the final season.

NanoRyuusei

I found your channel when you started the 1st episode because I was watching others reacts on youtube and I never left :3 For SnK, It was a weird feeling with the sadness too !!! This is why I like talking to people I know about the ending of an anime to find out what they thought of it. And that's also why I love watching reactions and hearing what all thought too ! This allows you to take things from another angle or have points of view that you hadn't thought of. At 1st, I was a little disappointed with the ending but it's mainly because we're not used to having a story with such a really realistic background and also true to real life in a manga/anime. And maybe because I wasn't' expected "love" as a trigger (Stockholm syndrome hello). After seeing 2 more times, I'm now happy with the ending and the writing was just beyond amazing. Thanks Isayama Sensei !!! Ost was godtier too like always. I'm still wondering 2-3 details, maybe manga reader have the answers x) Anyway, great reaction (and a lot of emotion yea) !!! I hope to see you on the BIG One Piece journey one day too :3

Sai

Luke got his butt emotionally kicked. :x I might have been here close to the start. At least when you uploaded your Overlord opening reaction.

Adian

Here I think I've started following your reactions since you uploaded the very first episodes of AoT. And I'm sticking for all the other reactions to come!

Horus

If you are looking for the OST played when Levi cries after seeing the scouts, it's called "the dogs"

Markus Wallin

I loved the end. And I found your show by having Youtube throw me from a Warhammer reaction by another brit to your AoT reaction. And after episode 3 or 4 I feel off because I was just being anal about the "non anime fan" wording at the time and then a year or half a year later I came back and flew through all your reactions.

Ace

Thank you for the reaction Luke! While I haven't been here quite from the start (I started watching you consistently during your S2 reactions), it's been an incredible journey! Can't wait to see where your journey goes from here! Shinzou wo Sasageyo (Dedicate Your Heart).

Ace

While it's not much, if you're looking for answers that manga readers might have, I'd recommend checking out Totally Not Mark's and Chibi Review's videos on Attack on Titan's ending. They have quite strong analysis, but just be ready to hear a lot of criticism.

CREDITS EXPLAINED - The passing of time and wars seen in the background of the tree represents war (obviously) but this is a symbol that peace is never achieved even after Mikasa's death. As time passes a boy and his dog stumbles across the tree with a cave-like opening. This is also the same way Yimir (founding titan) first stumbled upon the titan power. This is also a symbol that History repeats itself. The tree was always the key to the whole series right from season 1. and right at the end its the tree where the founding titans power will be found again. <3

Barry

That and Reiner calling the fact that Eren would be an awful founder from very early on in the series. Ymirs freedom was the goal, Eren was played big time, have my doubts that the visions were not doctored.

donald cuck

nah we r being honest and objective, liking something dont make u a cringe mf, like seriously whats wrong with you, u r fucking 10 yo and u didnt even try to understand the meaning of the ending, which is just pure genius when u put it all together, but well ur fav anime is probably one piece or pokemon u stupid npc, and before calling ppl cringe u should look at ur pfp and watch the way u talk to ppl, touch grass stupid bitch, nobody likes you, u parentless fatherless motherless broterless sisterless penisless ballsless braindead stupid adopted child u should go to a therapist and get some ass u virgin roblox kiddo (i assume he is already used to this kind of language by just looking at his comments so he wont mind if i roast him right?)

2023-11-06 17:27:05 Ymir wanted to see that it was possible to be freed from love through Mikasa. Ymir loved the king too much to kill him. Mikasa kills Eren, but that doesn't mean she loves him any less. The last part with the bird swooping in to grab the end of the scarf that was falling off just kills me. Eren promised in season 2 that he would always wrap that scarf around her and he did it even after death.

yearh... this was a rough one. I had soooo many onion cutting ninjas in my room when I saw it the first time, and even more of them this second time.

Saiklin

I love Attack on Titan. It just has something special. Great characters, in really difficult situations. This ending was amazing. Animation perfect. And all the musical cues littered throughout this episode, oh my god. Story is great and at the same time I am not sure, but it leaves me thinking, in a good way. I watched this show once on my own in the beginning of this year and then almost immediately again with you, because I needed more. I watched the finale yesterday on my own, and today again with you. And I will probably watch it all again, maybe even with you again. Thanks for being part of my journey. Thanks for letting me/us be part of your journey.

CptStupendous

I feel a lot of mixed emotions yet despite all the conflict, I also feel... satisfied. What an amazing 10 year ride. If you are not ready to close the book on AoT just yet, there is still the comedy, non-canon series: Attack on Titan: Junior High. I haven't watched it yet either.

Sora and the Stars

Honestly, Attack on Titan isn’t my absolute favorite anime, but I don’t think any other anime has made me feel the emotions it has, so it definitely deserves a special place in tons of people’s hearts

Iris

Luke, I watched your reaction to episode 11. I immediately went back to watch them from the beginning. It's been awesome joining you in this Attack on Titan journey. I really enjoy your genuine reactions.

Frigid Pharaoh

Been with you sense a little bit before your aot opening reaction. You quickly became my favourite reaction channel.

Fernando Lahude

You are the Best Luke! I have been watching you since the beginning of this journey, and would do all of it over again!

RogueEngineer

The New York Times has an interview of the author, Hajime Isayama. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/05/arts/television/attack-on-titan.html Very insightful, including how the ending came to be.

Genetz

Started watching you when you were on the 1st season of Aot, and since then you have been my favorite reaction channel! And now we've reached the end I'm glad that I've been with you through this journey.

Fay X84

I just realized a small detail in the ending. After the 3 year time skip, the seasons have changed 7 times. It really took Mikasa 10 years to move on as Eren hoped!

Sakura Takashima

I started watching your channel because of the Reaction videos of Attack on Titan. I knew the manga. I knew how it ends - "Under the Tree" I would have liked a happy ending for everyone too, but of course you're right, it wouldn't have felt right after everything that happened in the series. It's all repetitive. Who knows how many cycles there were before Ymir ... Btw: I like the idea of Levi opening his tea shop like he always wanted to 🥰 Thanks for your reaction videos. We laughed together and cried together. Thank you for letting us accompany you 🙇‍♀️

AnimeGT3 .

That was the first reaction that i watched from you, sooo of cause i watched it again with your reaction from start to end. :D

Caleb Matthews

Bro the scene where we saw more of the rumbling broke me. Like the last episode seeing the rumbling was kinda cool you know? like we didnt really dwell on much of the death but this time its just so hard to watch.

Dr. A

Found the youtube channel January 10th. The journey has been amazing.

cell

I can’t - I rewatched this with you on the bus to my college and nearly cried 😭

Leonidus

Love it or hate it, I genuinely can't think of another show that made me think and feel as much as AOT did. Not just with this ending, but throughout the entire show. It holds a special place in my heart, and it will be missed. Shinzou wo Sasageyo my comrades.

nam nhat

I've watched your reaction since the very first ep of aot. Love your reaction, keep up the great work.

Sakura Takashima

I also know how you feel now. The anime I felt similarly about was Neon Genesis Evangelion. I started watching the anime when I was 14 and I finished it last year. It really got to me. The anime was with me for 22 years and then it suddenly came to an end. That was really hard.

Aloney

I’m the one who started to watch ur reaction from the first ep of aot love u Luke

Regill Derenge

not gonna lie lmao.... you have the memory of a goldfish x))

DOH Skeletron

is it truely the end? or is it just the beginnig?

Varjokissa

So what was that last ost name when previous soldiers were in smoke? I also loved that music, I want to get it my playlist on spotify 🥰

Hawk of Battle

If you thought this was going to have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Varjokissa

Well I found that myself so here it is: The Dogs - Hiroyuki Sawano I remember that Luke was saying in the video that He want to react to this ost song so your welcome Luke and everyone!

Lukhano

I started following you from the start for AOT and I'm so glad to be part of journey

IAMONSTRISM Diaz

It took me a week to finally watched your reaction. It was soo hard for me to watch anything AOT related after that last episode. I’m an emotional wreck. 🥲 I am sad but glad this is over, it was a good closure to me. AOT is soo very well written. I’ve been with you since you were halfway of your AOT journey. It’s nice to watch this ending and the see how far we’ve come from the first episode.

IntoVoid

I've been there. Thank you Luke!

Orkidaisy

I finally had the chance to see your reaction to this. Life has been hectic, but I really wanted to see your reaction to it before I watch any other reaction videos. I've really enjoyed watching you grow to love anime because of this series, as I myself feel that AOT is just something special. I found your channel when you started reacting to the music of AOT, and I've watched you watch every episode from start to finish. Let me tell you, at the end you look pretty much how I felt when I saw this for the first time. The ending was something I was hoping for, and also sort of expecting, but still it somehow managed to worm its way under my skin and make me feel open and raw. That rarely happens. I totally agree with you, that this is the ending AOT needed, and I feel that this is the happiest possible ending we could have got. Any happier version would have been a cop out and would have undermined the journey we went to get to this point. I'll keep watching as you go deeper and deeper into the rabbit whole :) I can't wait to see you reactions to Vinland Saga!

Daniel Musgrave

Yoo been here since the first aot intro reaction all the way to now, loving the Re: Zero reactions and looking forward to the Overlord 🫡

€lie

THE END.

Riko Chirito

I feel like you should do a video essay on the ending.

River

they should have kissed

Malik Ford

Best ending to the best anime of all time

Asher Adams

I've been here since essentially the beginning, and i've enjoyed every step along the way! Thank you so much!

Kenneth Tong

i LOVE how much that baby scene affected you. I couldn't stop crying watching you watch it. Everytime I watch Armin yelling at himself, I feel broken, and the fact that the people on that ledge still pushed the baby to the front, symbolising their last act of hope for the future, is a hit right on the head. I've just recently stumbled upon your channel, because I was looking to watch someone react to Attack on Titan from the beginning, after I had seen the finale. Spent 2 weeks watching your videos, and I loved every moment of it 😁

James Perrott

i love how you just spit out words without even thinking if they make sense "doesnt fit with any of the original themes" you cant even elaborate cause you dont even know what youre on about "just boring" yeah just admit you didnt understand the story in the slightest youre literally so salty and childish over eren dying at the end that youre disregarding the entire show and even making yourself look dumb and incredibly ignorant bit weird

Rey

I actually found your channel by accident on YouTube as i've been watching Nightwish reactions at the time, and loved yours so i subscribed and checked out some of the other stuff, when you also started watching AoT , which is when i subscribed to Patreon too, been a Patron ever since, and watched every single AoT reaction with you, it was quite a ride, and overall was really fun getting to relive everything through your reactions. I've been with AoT since it initially aired sometimes in Spring 2013, and it's been a literal Hell of a ride, i've only finished this final, final, final... part just yesterday, as i've been quite busy last few months, and in a hospital for a while, so went to Rewatch it again with you just now and it was all worth it. I don't know if you'll get to see this comment , probably not, but anyway, glad I found your channel, and looking forward to all the future reactions. PS. I wish you'd react to some more Nightwish as well, would be awesome

ArtKi

Most of the weird Titan animals (the snake, the dragon and so on) are different flavors of previous Beast Titans. Maybe even the Okapi? ---------- Crazy how Eren, who valued FREEDOM above all else, wound up completely without free will. Unable to change what he saw in his future memories.

Sean

Be curious to know what anime series you think is a master piece (can't say FMA)

Sean

Can we all agree it's all Marcels fault. If he didn't trick the government into picking Reiner instead of his brother for Armor Titan then we wouldn't be here.

Sean

Also notice he exits the mist dropping his gear the same way as he did in season 1

Sean

It was a "what if" scenario for if she said she loved him when he asked her before meeting in Marley. If she said yes he would have left with her and spent last 4 years together alone.

Sean

Makes sense, never read translated lyrics but have heard Jonathan Young English cover and he does that part too in English

Kenn Souza

Been here since episode one!

H0und_

thats a very lose claim. galliard we only ever see as the jaw titan not the armoured, however it is very possible plans would have been different if it werent for this as assuming ymir still woke up and ate marcel, they may have ended up heading straight back to marley and instead of bert, annie and galliard, we see four completley new shifters who could have either been better at the job or worse. its a debate that has no definitive answer therefore presenting a very lose claim due to not much evidance to back it up with.

Meehdimed

I've just been trough all the episodes in few days... Love to live this journey again with you.
