Also, for Ui Ui, New shadow style counters a domain, while active the sure hit will not work, thats why he's there to deal with domains.

That isn’t just a random boy, it’s Mei’s brother

Matthew Valentine

This is the point in the manga where every page had me goin "bruh"

Klein Moretti

Random question can you do a reaction to a anime/donhua trailer called Lord of the mysteries its a number 1 most popular webnovel in the world

TOMfoolery

The Gigadad is here!

7:02 "Not bad... for a modern sorcerer" what do you mean here, not-Geto?

Zenin gramps was talking about how people increase the frame rate of anime from 24 to 60 using interpolation tech (by generating between-frames). He says its uncultured/boring because its artificial and uncomparable to actual drawn frames. The TV was that some smart TVs have that tech built in (and on by default) so you might be watching something with half the frames being "made up". This pretty much only applies to anime tho, since most other stuff is already in 60fps. (Though there might be higher fps variants that increase it higher) TL;DR Zenin Gramps was berating artificial quality added to animation via new tech. It might look better in some cases and worse in others but its "made up" quality either way.

Andoryuu

The thing about framerate and TV is that high fps increases fidelity of movement which is great for games and certain videos, but it also removes the "movie feel" from the movies which some find worse experience.

Dethrox

even if Ui Ui died.. that wouldnt mean Mei Mei killed him :D he would act as sacrifice so atleast she could get out instead of both dying there :o

Dethrox

how does the ''made up'' frames looks like ?? :D is it bad ? or you wont even noticed it etc ? :o this is honestly my first time hearing it :D so i also was confused on his speach

Cédric Michaud

One thing is sure is that the Zenin old man knows how Megumi's dad (Toji) looks like so he might say it and even if Megumi doesn't remember how his dad looks like he will know who he is.

Lusanagi17

You can look up 4k 60fps anime videos on YouTube. Some people think it looks better but I think the consensus is that it's pointless. The added between frames aren't hand-drawn so the quality will be different depending on the tech used and time worked on interpolating. Scenes with clear images and subjects look comparable to the actual frames but scenes with a lot of movement or a lot of scene changes will make it look smudgy and globby. It is common to see object morph into each other and stuff. There are cases where it looks good in motion but if you pause it there will be almost always something wrong with it.

Revian Garyzta

Luke, leave your TV alone, frame interpolation is there to make motion better (more fluid). Just like Mr. drunk Zenin, not everyone likes it since it is not a perfect technique but most people don't even notice it and is better than not having it.

Dethrox

i actually didnt get at all that ''theory'' or whatever that was when Toji appeared first time and that Toji shouldnt know his son.. that made 0 sense to me :D like the ''reincarnation of Toji'' was his past ?? when he didnt had a son that cant be it he looks exactly like present Toji.. would like an explanation but no spoilers.. :D

AchmodinIV SWE

There is some videos on YouTube with comparisons, it was pretty popular a few years ago, (I don’t know how long ago since my sense of time is not good when it comes to years)

Esia Lee

Once again jjk manages to make the last 2 frames of the ep the most entertaining part and then it ends lmao man this show just can’t give us one full ep that has us at the edge of of our seat for 22 mins straight as much as we all were in the last 2 seconds of this new ep. And I was thinking the same thing when he started talking about next weeks ep hopefully picking up right here and not going back to itadori or some other fodder bs lmao cuz we all know jjk is literally the king of doing that despite all anime doing it

charlymoon

for anyone interested in the topic I highly recommend this video https://youtu.be/_KRb_qV9P4g?si=ClR0tQqTMPpar_Fl

No spoilers: I don't know the theory's basis, I've only heard about it from Luke. However, even if I've missed sth, I read the Manga under the impression that Toji was as right before he died and there wasn't anything conflicting. I think you can safely assume this is the latest Toji.

nicolassngf

*Toji apears* Luke's face - Who the fuck is this guy?? *Turns his head* Luke - OMFG!!!

Sai

I use 24 to 144 interpolation for anime (I watch using MPC rather than streaming). :) I do it to make screen panning not hurt my eyes and I rather not lower the framerate of my monitor just to watch anime.

Martin Dvořák

I haven't read the manga, but in the anime it says that toji left megumi when he was really young, so it'd make sense that he wouldn't know him

Dethrox

And the first person he decided to go meet is megumi through his shadow portal into a domain of special grade curse with smile on his face :D seems unlikely he don't know his son (atleast to me)

Frentzy

This is the reason why Demon slayer (For me) became a standard in season 2. It's the only show where i've seen fighting for 3-4 episodes , non stop, no bs, no cut scenes, no nothing. If jujutsu kaisen would do that, it would reach PEAK as well. I cannot complain on quality or directing, they are doing great, but the cliffhangers are just insane. This is what makes a show go from 9/10 to 10/10. Deliver? 10/10, tease me constantly? 9/10, it's a small thing to cry about I know but, it's the only thing they can improve XD about the show.

Azizella

Didn't the grandma say that Tojis body overwhelmed the other guys soul and thus Toji somehow gained his sense of self back to the time of what I guess was the time from where the piece of Toji was from that the guy swallowed. Sounds confusing and you're damn right it is but I have no idea if it's true.

Ale

I read the manga, explaining everything will fall on spoiler territory, but let's just clarify that the old woman "evoke" Toji's body info only, and was Toji Zen'in, a Toji that was on his peak, still a sorcerer killer (remember that when he fights against young Gojo he is not a Zen'in nor a contract killer anymore) so at least his body was in a moment were Megumi probably wasn't born yet, however, the real Toji takes his body back, we still need to see if the soul that took the body has memories until the Toji that fought Gojo or the Toji that was a contract killer. You will get some answers on next episode.

JJmid

mjaomjao2

Wait really? I kinda doubt it's the most popular but it's definitely the best one.

Klein Moretti

It is the most popular in asia and most of europe dont know about the usa tho but it’s definietly the best one

syaimaral

The boy following the woman is her little brother. Also the old man is the zenin clan leader. The same clan leader of Maki, green hair weapon girl, that is keeping her from ascending the ranks because she is a woman. Next episode going to be lit tho. That element of chaos introduced.

L.C.

I like your profile picture. JJmid still mid tho

As I understand it with ui ui and mei mei it looks like this: mei mei uses her cursed energy for attacking whereas ui ui uses his energy for simple domains to protect himself against real domains. In episode 8 (?) of this season we learned from Mechamaru that there is a domain for the weak, the new shadow style simple domain, unlike a real domain, this has no curse power but can negate the sure-hit effect. and theoretically can be used by every jujuzist because not everyone has domain expansion. Juji, for example, cannot use domain Expansion and therefore could not protect themselves against other domains. The simple domain was created for this purpose so that these people can also protect themselves against them. In short, mei mei is the type of player in LOL, for example, who simply runs into the opponents, skilling everything in attack and never using healing or anything else, according to the motto: someone will eventually support me, and that's where ui ui comes into play , he is basically her supporter. And ui ui is her little Brother, what makesa future scene really akward

ArtKi

26:57 I don't know if Toji is stronger but he *is* nerfed somewhat without access to all those fancy weapons he kept in the worm thing.

Vinegar

To clarify, Ui Ui knows simple domain, so he can counter domain expansion, that's why Mei Mei brings him with

Deshawn Smith

He's actually stronger. This version of him is way more lethal and was when he was still going by Zenin and those were his prime years. When he fought gojo he had just come out of retirement lol.

Nate Ming

Old man Zenin is right, turn motion smoothing off Why on Earth would you want everything to look like a soap opera

shootie-san

I want to explain some things but I feel like some people will get mad so I’ll hold off. But it is about to get hype.

Frentzy

checked the ep now., damn what an ending that was funny af. I just realised delaying stuff is so good. now I only have 2 days to wait for the new ep

Dr. A

You thought it was an exit, but it was me. DIO!

KimGoldEyes

Ui Ui is Mei's younger brother. "Nee-sama" is an honorific form of address for elder sisters, and is a pretty respectful one. In Japan, it's common to address elder siblings as honorific forms of "elder sister/elder brother" rather than younger siblings using their siblings' names.
