This may apply only to elves. ---- 27:18 Sylphie was able to cast a spell to neutralize the poison before she passed out.

Bochi the rock would be a good fast 12 episodes (just something funny to take off the edge of most of the animes we have going on right now). Most exciting would probably be Code Geass or Evangelion. However both anime are pretty old and Goblin Slayer just started a new season which would mean it SHOULD be the one that ppl are most interested right now (i personally would prefer goblin slayer as well, it has ALOT of fights). What about some cowboy bebop. There are just far too many good choices man.

I agree Mushoku Tensei really doesn't have that much action. When it happens, its awesome, but it is much more about the characters and the world than just action. I would love to see Bocchi next. It's such a fun show and with music copyright its perfect for patreon. It's also nice to branch out from the usual action heavy shows that we have been watching.

Devil Man Crybaby would be my vote for a patreon exclusive that you must watch. It has a lot of 18+ content that would only be watchable on patreon. Otherwise if I had to vote for the other highly recommended series you mentioned then my vote would be for Code Geass for sure. A must for new anime watchers that I put up there with Full Metal Alchemist.

Out of the ones mentioned, I'd say Code Geass. Bocchi is also fine and kinda short, so it wouldn't take long - but for music anime, I'd recommend K-ON instead of Bocchi. Initial D is awesome and definitely worth a watch, but the soundtrack might be an issue for YT, so as such, it would be suitable as Patreon exclusive. Other great shows I wouldn't mind rewatching with Luke: Samurai Champloo, Suzumia Haruhi no Yuuutsu, Monogatari series and maybe Kuroko no Basuke for the first sports anime.

Since you are looking for a show as popular as Mushoku Tensei, Code Geass and Evangelion are both just as popular if not more popular. Goblin slayer and Bocchi the Rock are a bit more niche than those two, and I can imagine will perform worse on patreon.

The start of this episode is the day of the Mana Disaster - the Teleportation Event. Every living thing in the Fittoa region got teleported to random places. Some people lived, many died (e.g. fell or drowned). Sylphy re-appeared in the sky. The beast that attacks them also teleported into the palace grounds. Sylphy used her magic to break her fall, coincidentally killing the beast with the transferred force of the impact. Sylphy's hair turned white due to her excessive use of magic when she was trying to break her fall. The day of the teleportation was the day after Rudy's 10th birthday - so Sylphy would have been about 9 at this time.

You see her hair changing mid-fall. The anime doesn't specifically say it, but in the LN it's explained that it had more to do with Syphy exhausting her mana as she was trying to cast spells to break the fall over and over. Sylphy waking up with white hair though probably just assumed it was some sort of side effect from the teleportation.

One that would be really cool to see at some point would be Garden of Sinners (Kara no Kyoukai). It's an pretty intense anime that could really only be done on Patreon due to graphic violence and sexuality. It is a sort of sister series to Fate and has themes of horror, action, psychological thriller, etc. It is insanely good, though a bit confusing at first as they really throw you right into the middle of it and the episodes reveal the story in a non-linear fashion like you might watch one episode and then the next episode is set years before that.

Gotta say i don't understand why is everyone recommending Goblin Slayer. It's a pretty mediocre anime except for the shock factor in the first episode. I would recommend og Berserk or Monogatari. Otherwise Bocchi and Code Geass are also interesting picks.

Food wars decreases in quality. Like s1,s2 sure, s3 dropped in quality and s4,s5 meh. It's also too long(86 episodes LONGER THAN FULL METAL ALCHEMIST). I think castlevania is shorter but is way better, code geas is 50 episodes but better than both imo. So in terms of wowness, i'd put food wars as #3rd place in your list

Goblin Slayer is okay, but it isn't nearly have the quality or popularity to justify being picked. I think Code Geass would be the best fit. It is very well revered among veteran anime fans, but there's also a lot of newer and younger anime fans that haven't watched it yet so I would expect a lot of engagement. It's not super gory or sexual but the dark themes probably push Twitch boundaries so I think Patreon is a good place to watch it.

In addition to The Rising of the Shield Hero or Vinland Saga, I think Goblin Slayer is the best fit for Patreon. As you've already seen in the openings (especially now for the second season), it's pretty brutal, even in the subject matter that's being touched on. The first episode in particular sets a certain tone that, even if it is toned down a bit in retrospect, always resonates.

It's not really a spoiler. More like a curiosity. It doesn't have any relevance to the plot, it's just there. You can see it as common lore from MT's world - that was explained in the novel but skipped in the anime. There isn't any deep meaning behind it.

I would highly recommend either Castlevania (because it keeps being brought up and its worth), Neon Genesis Evangelion (because classic) or the Monogatari series (because copyright and its an amazing and weird series). Also, for those who were there watching Made in Abyss, this is the only episode from season 2 of Mushoku Tensei that I've watched, so expect to see some Ohms Reactions in these comments from now on! ;)

I must say please lower your expectations from Season 2. Without Spoilers : Its considered a bad arc in general and also skips a lot of content. Basically you don't want 3 seasons of no progress so it has just skipped many details. Now Some fun facts about this episode : - Luke and Ariel were talking about nipples. - Ariel is bisexual. - Luke (Greyrat) and Pilemon Greyrat come from the Notos Greyrat Famility. Rudeus has mentioned in Season 1 that He and father Paul Greyrat are also from the same family. - Pilemon is the same guy that Eris was supposed to marry at the end of Season 1. - Darius was giving mouth to mouth alcohol to that assassin while touching her. - Fitz name is short for "Fittoa". This is because rumours were already going around in Asura Kingdom that Boreas family has a strong mage who can use magic without incantations (Rudeus when he was just 10 years old.) When Ariel saw Sylphy, she decided to name her Fitz, hinting to others that she may be in possession of the rumoured mage from Fittoa. - When Luke, Ariel and Fitz were travelling to the academy at the end of the episode, they left with a big group of guards, all of whom were killed on the way by Darius and only those 3 managed to barely survive the journey.

I highly recommend Heavenly Delusion, it came out this year and it's an underrated gem for sure! I think it would fit very well as a Patreon exclusive after MT because of its 'un-youtube-friendly' subject matter. I think it would be up your alley, since it contains many of the themes and stuff that you've previously said that you enjoy in a story, so I would ask you to consider it, and that goes for everyone else other than Luke reading this. Unfortunately it seems to be a little bit of an underdog choice for the next Patreon exclusive out of everything else everyone have suggested.

Ok this episode showed us Darius the fat High Noble who was the one who kidnapped Eris in season 1, who got it to be a real kidnapping. He previously tried to pay her grandfather for her to live with him and be well, like the girl we saw with him, the Japan only version showed him doing a lot more. And when pilemon asked for Eris he was gonna. Give her to Darius as for the same reason. So ye Darius is one of the most disgusting people in the series. All of this was written during season 1s time and was cut. Also this episode was animated by a different studio

I will say Code Geass (Sub no Dubs), Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann, Mirai Nikki And Evangelion. It is too early for monogatari, you need to react to more series before doing that one because it is dense and has tons of references to others animes

Pretty sure it was explained or implied in the novel that the teleport incident put people everywhere like in the sky or middle of the ocean or the bottom of the ocean or even probably in the ground and they suffocated. You can imagine the rest and I am guessing most people died very quickly. Also this anime is great but the novel for this and reincarnated as a slime and many more are amazing light novels and just cant be translated 1:1 into anime which is fair. Just wish more people picked up the books for these things tbh

hype = views popularity ≠ views. His Death note & Hell's paradise did show the numbers. OSHI NO KO & JUJUTSU KAISEN s2 have same popularity numbers on myanimelist , yet his oshi no ko views was higher. I tend to believe the hype of ep1 oshi no ko carried the whole vibe and ppl wanting to watch (and ofc the other episodes which I won't spoil which episodes). Overall hype>popularity is I think the formula? I'd probably do a "hype check" for people asking them how hype they are for a show: 'Super hype/normal hype/I'll watch but not that hype/Not hyped at all'. I believe a poll like that will tell you what are the "feelings" of those who plan to watch. If 50% of voters go for 'average hype', you get in a popularity trope situation, where they might not be as interested, so the show they recommended was just cuz of popularity and not hype itself. (hype = they watch, popularity = they might watch might not)

I would love claymore, but the anime adaptation is hard to watch after it diverges from the source material. Note: "hard to watch" as in that a large portion of the anime would need to be retconned in order for it to be continued. And it was already a near impossible ask for some animation studio to animate an older story.

Wouldn't call season 2 "a bad arc" at all, the thing is that it's just much slower paced and less action/adventure driven than season 1, and I wouldn't say season 2 is better than season 1 either (because it just isn't), but to me it seems like a necessary arc for Rudy's character development that was very needed after what happened at the end of season 1 and some people might find that type of stuff entertaining/hype while others may not. But I personally think there's no justification in calling this arc "bad" since I think it's clear that this arc even here in the anime was well done, but may not be everyone's cup of tea. FYI the conversation at the start of the ep with the princess and Luke was about girls nipples. Since both of them sleep around like crazy. Another fun fact in the lightnovel she didn't just launch her out the window she also dismembered her arms and legs. They toned down the gore.

Sylphie's hair changed while she was falling off and casted a water magic around her. She used too much mana so quickly because she was super scared which ended up turning her hair green to white. If you go back to that scene you will see her hair hair slowly changing colors. The patreon exclusive anime I would suggest to watch after this is Goblin Slayer, because you can't show that in youtube or twitch.

My Vote is definitely on Code Geass, Great show that features different types of char. You hate the evil with a passion and you love the good. At the same time, you will lamented the mistake that gets done. i think its a good replacement for Full metal rather than mushoku thou

I understand your point and feel the same way. Im completely up for 3 seasons of High School / Slice of Life Mushoku Tensei. And I also agree that most good stories have arcs with different pacing and whole story should be treated as one big experience instead of expecting same level of thrill from each episode or season. That said, the reason I called it Bad Arc is because I found to be the general opinion based on social media - reddit,MAL and YT. I honestly enjoyed Season 2 despite the lack of Season 1 like adventure.

the fall from silthy in my opinion wasn't ahndled that good. Remember what Ruijerd said when he meet Rudy for the first time "you fell from the sky". So yea the teleportation wasn't just on the ground, it was everywhere, in the sky, in caves, in water, IN the ground. You should check out The Irregular at Magic Highschool. Great world building and action. It combines magic with a futuristic technologically advanced world. The main character is seriously OP, but at a cost. His name is Tatsuya, but fans sometimes call him Godsuya.

This episode adapted 2 chapters out of 3 that we got from "Fitz's" perspective in the novel. These three chapters were in the novel between the time when Rudeus was teleported (meeting Ruijerd for first time) and around the time he was in Millishion (reuniting with his father). You could say the first half of this episode takes place between episode 9 & 10. The second half would be around that time as well (small timeskip, as Fitz got into his role as Guardian) Chapter 3, which wasn't adapted at all, actually took place right after they leave for Ranoa (northern territories), which we see at the end of this episode. They actually left with a pretty large entourage of people. But they continuously got attacked by assassins as they journeyed, losing many of their followers. Chapter 3 shows us one of the bigger battles that happened, and how crucial Fitz was to enabling Ariel to escape the Asura kingdom. Fitz is very strong, and was able to take out numerous assassins, thanks to her incantationless casting and martial expertise she learned after Rudeus left Buena Village. Sylphie is a badass.
