Here is the FULL PATREON EXCLUSIVE reaction to Mushoku Tensei Episode 15!!!

Enjoy!!

Comments

nikum

I would really recommend watching the next 2 episodes together, a whole week between them is hell, episode 16 is what made me start reading the novels because I couldn't wait for 17 to release.

nikum

People change, the whole damn message of MT in 2 words.

Suichoku

Well it is too late already, he records these back to back (unless he himself decided to record episode 17 after being done with 16)

ArtKi

15:34 Rudy *is* training every day. It's not shown in this part of the anime. Also, the figure sculpting is good magic training as the getting fine detail uses a large amount of mana. And making figures is more productive than spamming water balls. I'm told that, in the light novels, he has some dangerous adventures in the jungle during this time. 19:07 Wasn't Paul. She names him in episode 8 - when she's talking with Amalfi the Radiant.

Frederik

Rudy does kinda train because making These Figurines is actually very difficult because it takes a lot of effort to make them this perfect

Phophee Wolf

Rudy is just in a rump in progression ever since he left for Roa because he wanted to make money to get into Ranoa in order to improve his magic. That all changed after the mana disaster so even though his priority changed, i think he is still improving by just using magic for his figurines as his hobby. He never had an urgency to use magic in order to get stronger. He wanted to learn magic at first because he found it to be "cool" like how people who play videogames wants to test out their avatar's abilities and thats probs how he is going forward.

dragonguard666

It's not gonna be watched any time soon and it missed it's best chance but I'm just posting this so Castlevania is not forgotten about. Especially when the new series - Castlevania: Nocturne is coming up next Thursday.

Keith Merrington

Rudy trains daily. Anime can't show everything though. He is also a lot stronger than he thinks, it's just he's mostly been in the company of other very strong individuals - Paul, Ghislaine, Eris, Ruijerd. So he assumes other people are generally of a similar calibre and underestimates himself. He also has a long way to go in his story yet, so give him a chance. Progression is slow and steady.

Seith

I think it was mentioned that Rudy kinda hit a wall for his magic, that he couldn't quite overcome, similar to Roxy when she met Rudy, that why he hasn't made any progress.

Eivind Skåra

A thing to note is that there is an OVA that takes place at the same time as episode 16, and would reccomend watching that as well.

TheBigOhm

I feel like Luke is really going to like season 2.

Crunchy Potato

I feel like Food Wars would be a good fit for Patreon. It's notoriously cheeky and an incredibly popular show too. A fun protagonist, brutal cliffhangers, strangely "action-packed" cooking, character progression, and copious amounts of boobs. I'd say it's one of the few animes that always gets me on the edge of my seat and probably one of my absolute favorites.

Thomas Juino

To be to impatient, Rudy said that he was stuck with his magic progression ^^ you'll have what you want ^^

Emilis2023

I could be wrong, but I think Eris was about 9 when she's introduced and by the end of this season she's 15. Not sure exactly where this episode fits into that, but she's probably around 13ish at this point. So yeah, lot of growth years between the start and where you're seeing her now. The show does a lot of 6 month-1year time skips between episodes so sometimes the changes are pretty obvious between two or three episodes.

Arctic

The threesome frogs always make me smile. Hehehe

Rur

The anime is about Rudeus progressing in life. Something he wasn't able to do in his previous one. Any other progressing from him doesn't really amount to much.

Keith Merrington

Minitona and Tersena are so cute. I love their relationship with Eris. I found it particularly cute when Tona was learning from Eris and trying to say what her name was in Human Tongue (actually Japanese) @ 4:41- she got it slightly wrong and nearly forgot to add 'desu' at the end... "Watashi namae wa minitona ... desu" - adorable :-)

Colm Barry

The fighting style Ghislaine taught Eris (Sword God Style) is all about ending fights as soon as they begin with a single decisive blow: Hit hard, and really, REALLY fast. So a duel between 2 people in this style is over immediately and only the people fighting are sure which of them did it better.

Anggst

I think goblin slayer is good for patreon exclusive. Dunno if it is as popular as mushoku, but out of those you mentioned, it would be my choice.

Arctic

My vote is for Evangelion or Code Geass out of the ones you mentioned. Goblin slayer is great but short at the moment. Season 2 is just around the corner also so I'd wait till that starts airing to watch Goblin Slayer.

Kamil Butala

Overlord next ! :)

Cerivex

Agreed. We need him to watch Overlord. Im waiting for it since he saw the openings and endings

Suichoku

Haven't seen Code Geas or Evangelium. If I had to pick from those two, I'd probably want to watch Code Geas. Another one recommended was Bocchi the Rock, that seems fun too (a lot shorter too)

Suichoku

It would be really fun! It might be Twitch safe however, but it is really pushing it (afaik it doesn't show nipples).

Andrew Southwell

It's a lot harder for Rudy to progress and get better. He already has incredible amounts of mana, but he has nobody to learn and improve from. He had Roxy for a while, and improved a bit since then, but now he has nobody. Whereas Eris has Rujierd to train with every day, so has a lot more chance to improve.

Anonymous

Mei's (the young Tensen from Hell's Paradise) Voice Actress is Konomi Kohara who in this show voices Roxy (and also Chika from Kaguya-sama). Minitona's Voice Actress is Shiori Izawa who voices Nanachi from Made in Abyss and Pochita from Chainsawman.

BRUNO Marques

Which is why even though water is his stronger element, he mostly attacks with a variation of earth magic. The practice gives him a lot of fine control.

Blink289

If your looking for something not safe on twitch I still think prison school is good or could go non anime castlevania which is great.

kireimochizuki

About Rudy not striving to become the very best: It's not the main focus of the anime, so it's not often pursued. This is a story of life as much as it is a story of change. Not a story of becoming the best.

GTB

Training and progress are a concern for Rudeus. The anime doesn't forget this....but right now Rudy's priority is to get Eris home. Eris becomes a better fighter because she has Ruijerd as a training partner. Rudeus has no one, and like everyone else he has his limits to progress on his own. All in good time ;). Fun fact: you've already seen some of the members of the 7 Great Powers... Another detail: the man Ghislaine left with is not Paul. You'll learn more about him later. The next episode is a tough one.

kireimochizuki

I think Luke is expecting something that many Shonen anime do, build an entire series around the main character striving to become the best and have a finale that ends with MC achieving said goal. This unfortunately isn't such anime.

Daniel Griffiths

rudy gets stronger with life experience:) but he does do some training off screen in this episode... he couldve died lol shame its never mentioned

Guilherme Vergne

Lets just say that Rudy is more bg character in mushoku tensei world than cid is in the eminence in shadow, the only thing he's actually doing is to grown as a person and help the "Named Character" doing their things edit: Man, the "rookie" is such an character. He seems just dumb but he's actually much deeper.

Daniel Griffiths

its a smaller fanbase and so far has only 1 season but other than that it tick all the boxes 'heavenly delusion' its an anime that can be put on YouTube with some editing twitch would be dangerous and its got some very mature messaging... its a patreon exclusive and would attract new subs:)

syaimaral

Yeah, I think Rudy just stopped progressing. He was like I've learned enough of this to be proficient. Let's just do something else and live my life however I want by just cruising through with no worries, all relaxed. It makes me think: you know how people work out and get muscular, but then don't have many chances to "use" that strength? Sure you can say it's for health and protection in case of unexpected danger or just being able to lift heavy objects, but to me it feels like a lot of work for something you really don't utilize very much in everyday life. So then people get lazy and don't do it. You actually have to go out of your way to go to the gym or workout to be healthy. It isn't incorporated into your daily life. The natural way would be if you naturally got strong and fit because of the work you do in your everyday life so you don't have to actively seek it out. This is me projecting. That to me is why I choose a career involving physical labor over a stationary desk job. That is also why I think Rudy is like ehhh good enough, I don't need to keep working hard on this. I'm already pretty good. On a side note, man I really want the next anime to be code geass. I put it on legendary category, but evangelion is more widely known and famous as a starter anime. The show is good involving action until towards the end. God, I hate the main character.

Shendri27

I think for the next patreon exclusive Code Geass will be perfect since you are now well introduce to anime and if you have liked death note you will love this anime, plus it's a great introduction to the mech anime. This is one of my top 5 anime ever you will love it :)

Animeter

I would say Code geass is a solid show, not great, but good. But i wouldn't recomment it. There are better shows.

GTB

No, Rudeus is not a "good enough" man ;). Rudeus wants to progress. Remember that at the time of the mana disaster he was at Eris to work and earn enough money to go to the Ranoa Magic Academy...because he wanted to learn more and become stronger. He wanted to progress so much that he was willing to pay for 2: himself and Sylphie. Rudeus learns a lot on his own, but is often frustrated when he can't progress. Regularly, he wonders how he can reach the next level. But he can't devote all his time to training because, you know...life. He has other things to do, other imperatives, things to manage :).

Tatersalad666

While it does feel like Rudy isn't making progress and getting stronger, he is actually building up a very solid foundation. it isn't well explained in the anime, but making the figures is incredibly difficult, requiring incredibly precise control of mana. He also started creating the figures because it was incredibly mana intensive, so it was a great way to increase his total mana while doing something he enjoyed. So, While it does seem like he isn't doing anything, it is actually a really important step for later. He definitely doesn't have the same drive to get stronger from earlier though, probably because there just haven't been any situations where he has felt any need to push himself. It's important to remember that his saint level magic is already beyond what most people can use, and because its scale is so large he has only ever used it once to put out the fires. Other than Roxy, we haven't even seen a more powerful mage than Rudy up to this point, so he hasn't had an opportunity to learn from someone better than him.

XT 421

I saw that sneaky shrewd eyes when you watched Rudeus look at the World Power's Monument... remember, this is just the first few volumes of 25+ volume saga!

Sebastian

I hope you can make a poll on Patreon for the anime replacement, even if it's through a 3rd party if patreon doesn't have polls. it's not very common for normal anime to be as mature/cheeky as mushoku tensei unless that's their main focus (ecchi anime) and there's not many good gore anime that are also popular, I'd say, Akame ga kill or Goblin Slayer are good options but does a patreon reaction really need to be gorey or cheeky? can't it just be good/popular anime that may not win polls on twitch/YT anytime soon? one thing as well, maybe making shorts of patreon reactions of big moments would be a good way to remind people that we are watching anime exclusives on patreon (you don't mention it often so people that didn't watch the first ep on yt may not know)

Renaud Nadeau

Don't you worry about Rudy progression, he will get back at it eventually.

Matt

I agree that I'd love to see Rudy shoot off some more giant crazy spells, but that's not where he's focused on improving. He's training to have more total mana, and how to use it efficiently and creatively. That's what will keep him and Eris alive throughout their journey, not some ultimate spell that he can only cast once.

Slipstream

I'm still hoping for Elfen Lied.

rostikowb

It's probably already been explained a bunch of times, but Rudy expanded his mana reservoir a lot as a child, and now what he needs is to improve his mana control, which is what he does all the time by making figurines

Nicolas Castro

An anime that would be great for Patreon is Kill la Kill, it is quite unique in every way, it is quite cheeky and still very popular, so it should have a good reception. And to add something about Rudy, making the figures is something very complicated even for experienced magicians, it is an excellent training since he uses an absurd amount of mana and needs great magic control to do the details accurately, there is a reason why Rudy can not improve in the sword and movements like Eris for example, but in matters of magic he is quite OP, only he does not have someone to teach him more spells as he had Roxy at the time and in terms of waiting for the MT story to be about Rudy being the most powerful, I would say that the series is more about Rudy's personal growth

Macatony

Rudy is slowly getting better. It's hard to tell since he has no current teacher and only knows a handful of spells and their applications but soon you'll see that after training and proper teachings, dude's kinda OP.

Rob

Exactly ! And he was supposed to go to Ranoa university to get pass that wall. Then the magic incident happened !

Gai Valentine

The models Rudy is making is part of the promise he made with Man-God to help get rid of the Superd’s bad reputation. He’s focusing on that instead of training.

FinalMasterM

Monogatari, big, cheeky, over-arching story and will have to be a patreon exclusive.

I3ladeDragon

Rudy using his magic to create detailed figurines is a subtle sort of progression. It seems to require great control to get fine details proper.

Gai Valentine

Idk if the Death God will ever be seen since the anime is already WAY past the point of his introduction in the light novel, but the Death God is NOT what you imagine lol

Aliziel

I always forget that that guy is the 6th member of a famous party..

chengstax

i'm fine with goblin slayer

Tamus Heath

Hmmmm, I could've sworn that stone was turning...

GTB

Just to clarify, people often say "shonen" when they mean something else. Actually, it's more typical of a genre called nekketsu (Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Naruto, Dragon Ball, One Piece, My Hero Aca, Bleach etc...). Shonen does not define a genre, nor a narrative structure. It more or less vaguely defines an editorial target (for young adults). SNK, Spy Family, Death Note, Chainsaw Man, The Promised Neverland, Your Lie in April, To Your Eternity, Dr Stone, Frieren, Takagi-san, Summer Time Rendering are all shonen. Mushoku is a seinen (for a slightly more mature audience) and fortunately it's not written like a nekketsu at all.

syaimaral

I get what you mean, but in the 3 months he was stuck in Doldia all he did was molest the dog and make figurines. I agree with you in the time before he was chilling in Doldia and journeying, but the anime sure hasn't shown him doing anything other than chilling while in Doldia.

David Stowe

Patreon exclusives due to blood and violence: Re:zero Parasyte the maxim Patreon exclusive due to possible music copyright: Your Lie in April Youtube/twitch: Gate My Dress Up Darling Cowboy bebop Outlaw star .hack//sign Full metal panic (to get you started on mechas) Golden time Erased How heavy are the dumbbells you lift Keijo (seems sus but no nudity)

Matthew Williams

Between the previous episode and this one it's been around 3 months time, Eris trains Tona the young cat-girl for another 3 months. Eris at this point is about 14 and 1/2 years old. The Sacred Beast is female not male, no she does not transform into a human form in the future and information about her in the future is a very, very, very huge spoiler so it is probably best not to ask about the big doggo. From the scar on his face you can tell that it isn't Paul, plus in age him and Ghislane are fairly close. Won't say who he is minor spoilers but the guy is her teacher in the Sword God Style though.

KDaBHoo

This is because the anime doesn't have as much info as the light novel. Those figurines he makes are not easy, and help train his mana a lot. The anime just kinda brushes off the work that goes into making them.

Alex Cline

Overlord is my vote.

Eirix Erosaito

I'm still pushing for Overlord!

Misteryk

Can you tell where you got Sacred Beast being female from? From what i remember from novels it was male and i checked wiki right now and it also says it's male

Zer0

Code Geass is not patreon material. It would be just fine on Twitch/Youtube.

ItZ OWL

Voting for overlord!

Toast Ghost

I'd have to say Evangelion as the next anime, it's a little shorter at 26 eps but also has 5 movies plus its very popular as an absolute classic icon.

Sharif Alvi

There's a side story OVA that occurs around the same time as episode 16 in the show I believe. It's the same length as an episode so hopefully you check it out.

Sai

I want Overlord, but not as a Patreon exclusive, lol.

打音玖珠

With the critique many have of the slower pacing in season 2 so far, just imagine the backlash if they decided to focus on him making figures… Anime watchers may not realize this, but him making figures takes up a much bigger portion of the light novels than you would expect

Kenneth K

At this point, I feel like Rudy IS still progressing, but in this case he is gaining life experience to make him more sociable and worldwise. Not necessarily stronger in physically magical means.

syaimaral

Yeah, thanks for providing additional context. There's no way I would have picked that up. I understand he would have gotten better at making more detailed figurines, but not that it would be mana intensive.

syaimaral

Lol I like monogatari series, but something tells me he will have a difficult time due to the fast pace verbose talking and jarring quick camera cuts that give off its intensity. The dude has trouble focusing when a good looking woman is on the screen.

yuzu hibiki

Rudy is progressing but at the same time he just hit a road block currently. He has so much magic power that he can't even exhaust in a day at this point unless he do mass terraforming or destruction. But there just isn't anything for him to improve on, considering he can do chantless casting which if mages want to improve they learn other spell chants which he doesn't need to. There really isn't a teacher to help him either.

yuzu hibiki

Personally i want Highschool of the dead since it's been ages and i haven't seen much people react to it despite it being a classic zombie series in anime.

Paul

He did hit a wall in his magic training he can’t figure out on his own. Before this he had his knowledge of chemistry and basic natural sciences like how clouds form. He also had a book give him incantations and a tutor who taught him how to do more advanced stuff. He’s on his own now when it comes to magic. His figure making is easy to consider a waste of time, but it takes a lot of control to do what he’s doing with earth magic. If anything he’s training his ability to accurately imaging exactly what he wants his magic to do in ways no one else can really do. Magic control is usually an important concept rather than just strength of a spell.

Paul

Please keep in mind you’ll catch up on Mushoku Tensei way before the 2nd cours of season 2 airs next April. This Sunday is the final episode of the 1st cours. Hopefully you can restart these Mushoku Tensei Patreon vids while it’s airing next April for cours 2.

GTB

I'll say it again: for exclusive patreon, don't look for anime that's simultaneously very popular or has a very active fanbase, that's sus/gore, and of excellent quality. Very, very few combine all that. For example, none of the anime suggested to replace Mushoku will get as many views and comments. Far from it. There are excellent anime that aren't super popular but have very active fanbases, like Made In Abyss. There are very good anime with tough scenes like Heavenly Delusion but not popular at all (thanks to Disney+). There are popular NSFW anime like My Dress Up Darling which is fun but it's just "meh" and not super interesting. Or the surprising-slice-of-life-deeper-than-you-might-think Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, which is sus and feel-good with top-notch visuals/animation (Kyoto Animation, I love you!) but I doubt it'll get a huge amount of views. There are gory anime like the best of the best Berserk, but they're old and maybe too "weird" for a large audience. There are some very good and sus anime, but they won't get many views. In my opinion, it's better just to choose a very good anime, rather than an average but sus one. If you want views, go to Demon Slayer, popular af. It's very beautiful (crazy visuals/musics), quite good; but it's a banal nekketsu. There are no surprises at all. Bocchi The Rock would fit in as an exclusive patreon, since it's an (excellent) musical anime with lots of copyrights. But it's nowhere near as popular as Mushoku/SNK/Demon Slayer. You're going to have to watch these anime...so choose mostly very good/interesting/singular anime.

Keith Merrington

Well I doubt it will ever go anywhere, but I'll mention K-On again. Or at least Bocchi or Dragon Maid. If you're feeling really adventurous you might even try out something totally unique like Nichijou. Something a bit lighter would make a nice change.

Dominique

Demon slayer when?

FaT_ScRaN2001

I think Evangelion would be a good choice for patreon as it has 1 or 2 scenes with nudity but I think it’s the best of the old anime. It’s one of my favourites

Ttsukasa

RE:ZERO RE:ZERO RE:ZERO RE:ZERO RE:ZERO Also Gantz.. GOBLIN SLAYER IS JUST NOT FOR YOU :/

CptStupendous

I vote for changing gears and going with a raunchy comedy for the Patreon exclusive. My vote would have to go to either Prison School or Grand Blue. I want to see if an anime can make Luke cry from laughter. 😂

SunLovin Solaire

I wanted to say this about Rudeus’ lack of apparent training. His “playing with toys” is him fine tuning his magic to make absolutely accurate 1 to 1 replicas of people. That amount of control is very impressive.

Jc

Bocchi the rock for a patreon exclusive. I can't even remember how many times I've re watched it now and this way you wont have to deal with the copyright on youtube.

Chailles

We should consider that Rudeus' training as mage, especially when he was young, as repetively doing the same thing over and over again over the course of months and years. Safe to assume if he's just chilling, he's doing the same thing.

This Guy

Really love your reactions! Since I've been subscribed on Patreon since your reaction to Bocchi the Rock opening, I will definitely recommend Bocchi the rock as a patreon exclusive reaction! It does not have gore nor is it a long anime like Mushoku Tensei, but it is deserving as copyright is a pain for music anime. Another music anime recommendation that I'll highly recommend is Your Lie in April, what got me started in the world of anime. As always, love your reactions!

Anonymous

That wandering swordsman that took Ghislaine away? Definitely not Paul, they seem to be around the same age with Ghislaine. My guess would be he's the teacher that taught Ghislaine how to fight. She dropped his name in episode 8, "The Sword God Gal Farion". So Ghislaine was taught by one of the 7 strongest people in the world, no wonder she's a badass now.

Kyle

Luke, an anime as big as Mushoku Tensei and has patreon exclusive content is a very rare occurrence. I vote for either Goblin Slayer or Elfen Lied

Hawk of Battle

As others have said, Rudy isn't able to progress magically right now. Remember, the whole point of him going to teach Eris in the first place was to make enough money to go and study further. Since he couldn't learn more magic, he instead learnt other things, like languages and the economies of this world, making good use of his younger brain to soak up what he could while he was able to do so quickly. Then the mana disaster happened, and priorities shifted. Now he's more focused on getting Eris and himself home. However, this is still not to say he isn't getting better, after all, there's no better experience than practical experience, and they've been crossing continents, adventuring, fighting monsters and slavers etc. All of that adds up. He got himself that nifty future seeing eye, but that only took a short while to adjust to, but it's another weapon he has. And of course, there's the figurine thing. Those are made with magic, and require incredible finesse, so practicing with those every day IS helping him get better in other ways. Mages in this world can be incredibly powerful, akin to one-man nukes at times. But you don't bring a nuke to every fight. This is why a good swordsman can get the best of even a good mage, they need support. Mages are great if you wanna kill a horde of enemies, don't care about collateral damage, or are going up against a giant monster, but in 1v1 against a melee opponent they're often lacking. Rudy spending all this time performing these smaller, more precise works will likely pay off later on more than you imagine. This show is also just not doing the typical shonen/isekai thing of having a super-op mc who gets more and more bullshit op as time goes on. It's taking a much slower, more "realistic" approach to personal growth. People don't get better over night, real improvement takes time and massive dedication, which Rudy can't really do right now, at least not to the extent he'd like.

『KANSEN』

season 2 has mostly focus on rudeus training, also mushoku tensei has one OVA that is focused on Eris and another character that is in s2 so be sure to watch that before s2

JOSHUA A STERRETT

Definitely Code Geass next. Evangelion is one of THE classics, but it's very... "cerebral" is the kind word. "Confusing as all getout" is the more accurate turn of phrase.

Louispul5

It's not cerebral. It's just full of symbolism. And everyone wanted to know what the symbolism meant. When they asked the creator he responded, "Nothing, I just thought it was cool."

Louispul5

I second outlaw star. Also he's gotta watch Gurren Lagann if he wants to be pumped up or Seven Deadly Sins if he wants pathos.

Eric burton

Og berserk would be a good one to watch

Some0neElse

I mean... you say Rudy isnt training anymore but making these figures with magic means he is actually training his magic control and precision

Robert Franklin

yeah, plus progression takes time. Just wait, there will be plenty more progression.

声優 何でも

Code Geass if you wanna use your brain, Gurren Lagann if you wanna turn off your brain

Hououin Kyouma

Code Geass is the anime that made me want to watch anime. Several thousands of anime later it is still one of my favorite anime. Although Code Geass some sus scenes with camera angles, it's not really a sus anime in my opinion.

Matthew Williams

That is just good old faulty memory there, you are correct he is male. It's just been a very long time since I read the LNs and misremembered that's all. Thank you for the correction.

CurseMark4Life

Idk if Code Geass is Patreon material as it will do just as well on youtube, but it is one of the best starter anime out there imo. Highly recommend checking it out ASAP at least. If I had to pick one worthy of Patreon it would be Devil Man Crybaby. It is insanely gorey with plenty of 18+ sexual scenes akin to Cyberpunk. Only 10 episodes, but a very good story and animation.

Lyrainworld

Hm, thinking of patreon exclusive anime what comes to my mind is def Banana Fish, you saw the openings already and enjoyed them (it's the one about street gangs in America). It's really well done, the music fits, has some funny moments, some serious and emotional moments. I'm saying it's patreon exclusive because it has some really sensitive topics that most likely won't go with YT's regulations but from the character and plot point its really done splendidly how much it affects people and their close ones. The story is great, you will feel for the characters and root for them. And since the og manga is from around the nineties it has that unique dark moments modern anime lacks. Ps, I bet you'd love Shorter and Max

Nodoss

Well i think its a little late, maybe you alredy know this but, when Rudy is making those dolls, he is actually training, so its not explained yet but to make those dolls whit magic its extremely extremely difficult for regular people, it has to control his Magic at a level that its compare to ranks above King or Emperor. it seem like nothing but its realy important on rudy kind of magic

Visoth

While its true Rudeus hit a plateau in his magic training, as there are no Saint or above mages nearby, its not to say hes completely stagnated. The creation of figurines actually requires a load of mana and precision. His refinement of his figurines is actually improving his skill at altering spells and making them more potent. But otherwise, he can't improve. Nobody can teach him the other Saint-level spells & incantations (and the mechanics behind them). Instead he just refines what he currently has. And is also why he can make a spell as weak as "Intermediate: Stone Canon" into something far more destructive and powerful.

jdoggivjc

The Monument of the Seven Great Powers is a list of the seven strongest fighters in the world... but at the same time it's not a definitive ranking system. For instance, person X defeats person #5 on the list; person X becomes the new person #5 on the list. And no, the people on that monument don't generally go around fighting each other to try and claim the top spot on the list, because like I said, that's not the way the list works anyway. And while I'm going to tread lightly because of spoilers, the Death God is NOT the strongest person on that list... not by a long shot.
