They're playing Mahjong. I wish I knew anything about how to play, but I'm just assuming Geto is playing a modest on board strategy but secretly kicking ass. Gojo released his domain for .2 seconds and in that time those effected absorbed the same amount of information they would have normally absorbed over the course of 6 months. They're catatonic. Because Gojo was holding back, it will only take them 2 months to recover and become capable of action again. But he has to rush because he doesn't know how long the effect will last on Jogo and friends. So it took him just under 5 minutes to kill all the transfigured humans so he could return the battlefield to a manageable state for himself. Also regarding the prison realm, they don't explain it very well here, but when Gojo sees Geto, he replays the incidents from the beginning of the season in his mind. It's only a couple seconds lost in thought, but in his mind it is a whole year that he's reliving. More than enough time for the prison realm to latch onto him. This is what Geto was counting on. The shock of seeing Geto leaves Gojo open to being sealed.

Okay so when gojo used his domain it was only physically there for .2 seconds which means eveyrone caught in it only received unlimited info to their brains for that long. That’s how long he expected normal people to be able to last and still be alive. But after the domain ended they are still sitting there unable to move for a while even the special grades. So then he went around killing all the transfigured humans and killed them all in 5 minutes. Then the gate opened, and gojo saw geto. In that moment his life flashed before his eyes, meaning more than a minute passed inside his brain in that split second. And that’s why the gate instantly trapped him. It didn’t need a minute in real life only in gojos brain. It was a 200000000 IQ move by “geto” basically to use his best friends body to make his life flash before his eyes and allow him to be trapped instantly.

I just watched the episode alone. As a manga reader, I knew what was happening and immediately switched to your reaction. I have to say you didn't disappoint me. As someone who blindly goes through these experiences, you reacted exactly as I expected. This episode was so crazy and I look forward to the next 14 episodes. Btw: yes we have seen Gojo fight before after he reaches his full potential. Episode 7 or 8 in the first season. As for Yuta, can you remember the after credit scene from the movie? 😏😉

to explain the 0.2 second vs. 299 second thing, he opened unlimited void for only 0.2 seconds but because of the information overload the effects of it lasted afterwards as well (you can see that the moment he opened the domain it was black but it quickly faded away after). So, the domain was open for 0.2 seconds but he was going hog wild on the transfigured humans for 299 seconds afterwards.

0.2 Seconds was the amount of time he left his Domain up, and leaving it up for only 0.2 seconds is what froze everyone even after he dismissed it because of all the information that flowed into them in those 0.2 seconds. And then he spent the next 299 seconds slaughtering the transifugred humans.

Gojo's domain only lasted 0.2 seconds, but those 0.2 seconds were enough to render everyone who got caught in it unconsious. While everyone was unconsious Gojo went on a killing spree that lasted 299 seconds. When Gojo got sealed, the condition was 1 minute inside Gojos mind. The anime didnt explain this very well since they went for a more visual approach, but when Gojo saw "Geto" it triggerd 3 YEARS to flash through Gojos mind. 3 years of his youth together with his best friend who he thought he killed.

0.2 seconds his domain was active. Everyone got unconscious and didn't move, everyone means, 'everyone'. He used that time when no one was moving (human,curses,etc) to kill all the 1000 transfigured humans. Cuz it'z easier to kill when no one is moving. It took 299 seconds to do this. So he spent 6 min killing, 0.2 seconds domain activation only. His domain put information in your head, in just 0.2 seconds, 6 months worth of information went in the head of everyone. If enough information gets put into you, you implode and die (simple logic sense)

You got confused there. Gojo activated his domain for 0,2 seconds which stunned everyone for several minutes. He than took out 1000 transfigured humans in actual 299 seconds. He could have taken his time, but he didn't know how fast the special grade curses could recover from infinite void, since he never activated it for only 0.2 seconds. The 1 minute the prison realm needed wasn't 1 actual minute but 1 minute in the mind of Gojo. Because Gojo got flashbacks upon seeing the body of his presumably dead friend, he experienced time differently from normal, which was enough for the prison realm to activate much quicker than 1 actual minute.

Gojo activated his Infinite Void for only 0.2 seconds, which filled everyones minds with 6 months of information, once the 0.2 seconds were up, he then spent the next 299 seconds killing all 1000 transfigured humans while everyones minds were stunned from proccessing 6 months of information. 6 months of information was just short enough for the humans to not become permanent vegetables from the domain, any more than 0.2 seconds and all of the humans within the domain would've never recovered.

Ok I said it a million times but since you love JJK just watch Hunter x Hunter and Demon Slayer.... JJK is HAVELY inspired by HxH and you will reach new level of appreciation for shounens if you watch HxH. Demon Slayer is just a classic at this point with animation level that makes me want to watch current top fights of JJK done by Ufotable (animation studio of Demon Slayer)... you will understand why when you watch it.

DS might have the highest highs, but compared to JJK the "normal" sequences are kinda slob (in my opinion.) As a personal preference I enjoy JJK more because the entire story is interesting and fun, fighting or not. I enjoy consistency over big booms. Considering Luke's opinions on Hellsing, it's possible that the same idea would fit for DS aswell. I guess we'll see in like a year or something

Heavily agree on HxH, man loves his cerebral shows so much and 80% of fights in HxH are based around mind games and strategy that I am 100% he'd get a kick out of it. For that precise reason I'd go against Demon Slayer. It's a great battle shounen but that's it for the most part. Take away the amazing animation and you got yourself a stale reaction cause honestly, there isn't a lot else going on. Just because a show is fun doesn't make a good reaction, there has to be substance to it, think early Death Note with all the theories or FMAB with him constantly being wrong about the plot but in the funniest way possible.

Animation is amazing but we dont need it. Then dont watch anime read manga instead, Not everything needs to be revolutionary and DS is not. But I will take it takes what works adn does it to perfection over shows that are insane until then they are not and fall flat at the very end. Also keep in mind I recommend shows to Luke and not to everyone. Luke clearly likes shounens and DS is right up his valley. To answer your question about the civilians, curse spirits and cursed energy isn’t something that just anyone can see. Some people are more sensitive to it than others. So there are literally people in that crowd that just see Gojo while there’s others that see everyone involved. That’s why whenever there’s a major fight, they have to put a veil around them so any non sorcerers 1. don’t see the damage afflicted around the area 2. any curse energy sensitive people don’t become privy to existence of cursed spirits and energy.

Gojo expanded his domain for 0.2 seconds and then he cancelled because he thought that that was the max amount of time that a non sorcerer could have resisted it without leaving secuels. In those 0.2 seconds all the affected by the domain received the equivalent to half a year of information leaving them inconcius. Then Gojo started killing the transfigured people because it would be more easy that fighting a curse spirit (like Mahito, Jogo or Choso) because they could have awakened at any moment, so he killed 1000 transfigured people in 299 seconds

8:48 if you want to know about that game, I suggest the anime Akagi. Unfortunately the manga it was based off of wasn't complete by the end of the series so they cut it short. The live action version is more up to date but also incomplete. Between the two they are both good and you will find yourself invested in a single game over multiple episodes.

I think you got confused. Gojo used his domain for 0.2 seconds and rendered them immobile for 299 seconds due to them processing the information. The reason why i think he chose not to atk the special grade is because if he couldn't kill them immediately, it would render the purpose of using the domain to keep the humans safe useless. The 299 seconds got nothing to do with his mind. But yes in his mind a life time worth of time spend with Geto flashed by so it was more than 1 min in his mind

Think of it as Gojo blinked his Domain, it was only active long enough to blink, and even with that amount of time it rendered everything in it's range unconscious for a LONG time. Because their minds were flooded with so much information in that time, not enough to kill them, but easily enough to freeze everything there. Since everything was now frozen, he chose to kill all the mutated humans as fast as possible. Jogo, patchface and the cursed child were also frozen in that amount of time. Which is why Geto, who wasn't in the range of the domain stepped up.

Gojo used his domain as a 'flash bang' essentially. He only had it open for not even a second to stun everything around him for a huge radius. Then acting on his instincts and ability to sense cursed energy, he slaughtered every single transfigured human, in attempts to leave himself enough time to properly handle a counter attack from the special grade curses before they could wake up from their stun-time. That took him five minutes. Hope that helps.

didn't notice until the rewatch but the npc behavior is from not being able to see cursed techniques, not just curses. Three people get pierced through the head and that information just isn't perceived. Also why most people weren't freaking out about the vortex before. However, when Jogo is throwing humans at Gojo, that is witnessed because it's not a cursed technique.

I've been slowly going through these lately and commenting things that no one will ever see lol BUT! Your question about how people feel about Gojo is actually kind of a complicated one. He is most definitely not a good teacher in a traditional sense, I think even the biggest Gojo-stans would agree. But, be that as it may, he is still effective and he knows what it means to raise up a bunch of seriously powerful peope. His goal is for as many of his students to get on his level as possible. He mentioned this in season one when he talked about Yuta (from JJK0), Hikari (you won't actually really see him until maybe next season, but he was mentioned), and Yuji himself. As you can see so far, he's doing very well with it. However, he is pretty obnoxious and most often it's on purpose. I think that it's safe to say that ultimately, Gojo lives a very lonely life. People only see him for his strength, and I think that he lets them. I'm not sure if you picked up on it through this episode as well as the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc, as well as JJK0, but Gojo and Geto were VERY very close. Geto was the only person that Gojo ever truly connected with (which is why Gojo referred to him as his one and only) and losing him was a bad time for him for sure. There are arguments to be made as to the nature of the entire thing but that's not really important here. I believe that after losing Geto, Gojo drew a hard line between him and everyone else. So I think that a lot of people respect his strength but they don't really respect him as a person. They either think he's an ass (Nanami, Utahime, etc.) or they think he's an idiot (Maki, Panda, Inumaki). I would say some people definitely hate him (again, Utahime) though. Yuji seems to be the only person who truly has love for the guy. And even he doesn't know Gojo at all. All this to say, Gojo is a really interesting character but you really have to kind of dig a little to see just how complex he actually is. But don't do that because you're not there yet, we don't want any spoilers for you! I love your reactions, they're a lot of fun.
