Mei wasn't a child when this happened. There is an explanation for why she looks so young now, but this is season 2 stuff. Ironically, she is the oldest character from Gabi's group. Chobei (crazy brother) is the best! I love him so much. Arg, I wished he'd show up more.

Am I right to think that Mei ran away before the “put out or die” job offer started? My brain would deny my ability to comprehend if that’s not the case, but I sure would love confirmation if she did get away before “training” with anyone. As someone who once practiced Tantra, I’m appalled at the thought of anyone being force to give up their body or freedom so that others could “circulate” with them. Fkn gross.
