This JJK OP feels different because the main star show is the antagonist this time. I really like it and it gives me chills just by watching it.

Someone else has already said this but yes, this opening feels so different because it’s from the point of view and the side of the antagonists. All the other openings have been from the pov of the protagonists (OP 3 the prime example) and so this is why it feels so different in tone, art style, mood, everything.

The lead singer sounds a little bit like the one from Man with a Mission, mostly because of almost the same voice from Demon Slayer newest opening

I have only one problem with this opening, even tho I have multiple songs in my playlist from king gnu, and this song will enter my playlist. I think it was a poor choice. I didn't NOT expect such an insane godly opening animation, and the king gnu music is not on par with the animation. It's sounds impossible that somehow the animation > music in an opening but it's true. If they would've picked an even stronger/better song to fit the opening I think it would've won the opening contender at the end of the year from crunchy roll. 8/10 song, 20/10 visuals, even tho both good scores, the song drags down the q_q epicness. So yeah, missed opportunity to create the best opening of the year right here(to win that award you need even better than this, and they will probably end up a runner up, which is not bad but when u so close, u can't have better animation than music, for reference hell's paradise music OP is better, if u add that song with this animation you get an even better opening).

The "Queen of Curses" aka Rika from JJK 0 had her soul freed from Yuta at the end of the movie. Yuta still has a pseudo-Rika type apparition with him which was left behind by Rika herself that acts as an external storage for his vast amount of cursed energy and his arsenal of cursed tools. And though this "Rika" is not actually the real Rika, it maintains her exact personality. It also appears just as strong as the real Rika. Also, the characters we saw the silhouettes of are all people we've seen before. Hanami, Jogo, Geto, Dagon (he's the little red squid we see when the Disaster Curses are first introduced along with Geto), and Choso (he's the guy we see at the very end of Season 1 who vows to kill Yuji and Nobara for killing his two brothers).

I liked the song and the animation on the same level. I think this song fits perfectly and this opening was made specifically to fit this song. This song without the animation and this animation without this song wouldn’t be that good
