Higurashi might be one of the highest ranked horror anime, which you can only watch on Patreon :) On the website Animeplanet has 30k people rateted it to 4,2 out of 5 stars and ranked 359 anime in the world

I really like this anime, but I can see why this wouldn't be for everyone tho. Still calling it "bad" or "mid" is kind of stupid, but the anime community loves those words. It's just a really fun, fast paced and well animated action anime with a lot of gore and it's just a blast to watch. It might not have a super complex story and deep characters, but is still one of the better pure action shows recently IMO. Also heard that the manga is just as good! It's written by an assistant of the author of Chainsaw Man

Yes, Luke, "Hell's Paradise" is definitely more f**ked up than the other shows you watched. You might need to make this one a Patreon exclusive too due to some future scenes, unless you do some editing. I'm not telling you why, but trust me on this one.

There are many mangas that are short, some even only one bigger chapter long. Afaik Hell's Paradise isn't the longest but there will be probably still 3 seasons total (maybe season 1 and season 2 split cour)

In same vein as being able to call an anime good or great, people are free to call things they don't like bad or mid. Problem does arise from generalisation and saying definitely that it is bad (or good). But everyone is guilty of this on some level, it is easy to judge others taste / opinions, because people get clouded and think their opinion is same as general opinion. I think Hell's Paradise is a solid ~8/10 anime.

Or like the demon slayer so many people say it's mid and it's carried by its animation and everything. But then a lot of the reactors that watch it really enjoy the characters the story. It's a solid story. It's a fun! Engaging story is a complex no, but you don't have to be complex. Is the animation? Unbelievable! Absolutely. It's the best animation in the game but the amount I hate it gets because people don't I think the story is a work of art. It gets a bad rep but I know for a fact you're going to enjoy it when you get around to it

The red haired guy's VA is also the va for Gabimaru from slime, Shirogane from kaguya, Shin's older brother from 86, and also Saitama from OPM, though you probably wouldn't recognize it from that one.

Hells Paradise is 127 chapters long and the anime covers 45 chapters. Hopefully they end up finishing the anime but you can never be sure with these things.

People like to hate on HP out of the 3 in the trilogy the most imo because it does take itself the most seriously with little comedic relief, which makes denji and yuji more similar to each other. Also Chainsaw and JJK are still releasing manga chapters on a weekly basis. Series like Demon Slayer and Hell's Paradise are finished stories so I think people are just salty they didn't get more content lol.

I love this episode. Gabi is great in this one. I like the scene where he's covered in blood. He looks so pretty there. But there's a certain blond one who looks even prettier. Chobe is the prettiest of them all. He's great. I watched the anime like 3 times in total (4 if I count the reactions here.) But I sure as hell have watched all of Chobe's scenes more than that. The manga has some funny elements, especially the in-between chapter extras! Hehehe. I hope we see some of that stuff animated later.

I didn't saw the comments that said hell's paradise isn't good, so not sure about what minority you talking about. Like others said, max u can say: Jujutsu kaisen and chainsaw man are better, that doesn't make this show bad. Also people comparing JJK and Chainsaw man.. and saying 'trilogy' is unfair :/, this anime has nothing to do with the other two, This is a totally different show, different story architecture, those who say trilogy didn't watched enough mappa animes, or anime in general.

Btw, the monitors with the swords are called the Yamada Asaemon they are not the Shogun, the Shogun is one person and is the leader of the Yamada clan and the nation.

trilogy doesn't meant to say that they are similar, they are called the dark trilogy since they are all shonens with pretty dark and messed up stories.

After watching the 3 big animes, HP might be the simplest story-wise, but it is also one of the easiest and funnest to watch. Kind of takes me back to my Dragon Ball Z days where I just liked watching the super strong cool guys fight the super strong crazy looking monsters.

Yeah, you can't really listen to what anyone says about anything. I'd not heard people saying this show was bad, so I was a bit surprised when you said that. I went into this blind and really liked the whole thing. Don't let other peoples opinions sway yours. As a contrast, I've heard people say Chainsaw Man is utter shit, entirely because they couldn't stand the mc's motivation of "wants to see boobies." Like, that was enough for them to rag on the entire show. People are weird, and are going to like or dislike things for absolutely any reason. Those reasons need not affect your enjoyment of a thing at all.

Weird.. So if u have 3 dark theme animes =.= made by same studio = trilogy... By that idea Garo vanishing line, Inuyashiki, Shingeki no bahamut. Three dark animes,made. by mappa, all are giga dark, all of them were made in a similar time. So if time period is a feature and the dark theme is also a feature then I just wonder why z.z these new 3 are called trilogy, since I'm pretty sure this has been done before even by other studios. Maybe I was an ignorant and at the time when inuyashiki came out, people were calling for dark trilogy back then as well 🤷‍♀️. I know my argument is just wasting time like asking why ants are tiny. I just want to know if this is a new trend that appeared out of nowhere, but based on history I never heard of trilogy ideology (similar theme anime by same studio) when I am pretty sure this even did happen before. So for me it feels like history repeat but a new term appears.

The Shogun isn't the leader of the Asaemon, but does hold authority over them. The Asaemon are basically just "mercenaries".
