Well for the part with our wife weather vs animals, i would take animals all the way. Why? Cause you get everything, informations for anything, being weather change, natural distaster, any change in you environnement (change in animals comportement for example), spy to ear and see everything (your neighbour, state, politicals, anything). You can also the best either medical things (ingredients, anti venom etc) as well as the best defence and attack you could ever get. Need someone to kill? You get plenty of options. Need something to defend yourself? Again a lot of options. Need intertenment.. you get it all also. Having animals by your side and able to call them and use them (not abuse them!) is something that could never imagine the limit of potentials. ever dreamed to travels the whole ocean with fucking wales, dolphin and shark? Yeah you got it. Want to fly? still possible with multiple strong birds and some engineering, No need for gas, electricity or anything. O yeah, you need eletricity? Go for some eels. No limit

Actually controlling the weather would be pretty nice, to be able to make insanely hot summers feel cooler and insanely cold winters feel warmer and nicer would be great. Hate both boiling summer heat and icy winter cold
