Gabimaru is what's known as an unreliable protagonist, and I love unreliable protagonists. Makes for some really sweet plot twists down the road so I hope you stick with the show! It gets into some really heavy themes later on that I think you'd find intriguing.

I will not watch it as I don't like that much the other two series from "dark trio", but cool I guess, I'm more excited for Parasyte that will be next, and obviously for Madoka Magica because it's my #1 favourite (at least right now).

A shinobi is just a ninja or someone who practices ninjutsu (ninpo) and a Kunoichi is the female counterpart.

Hell, yes, baby! Let's go! Hell's Paradise had me hooked so much that I bought the entire manga. I haven't bought manga for years because I ran out of space. I love Gabimaru as a protagonist. Especially because he is already very strong and he has a wife that he is fighting for. I mean, I like Yuji, Deku, Tanjiro, and the like, but Gabi is even better in my eyes. I started the anime because of him, but I actually stayed for someone else. He will show up next episode. I love him. And yeah, people complained about the animation and art style. And because it doesn't exactly look like the manga. My god, people are so annoying. Of course, it isn't going to look exactly like the manga. As long as they don't change the story, I'm fine with "lower" art quality. (Story changes like they did to Tokyo Ghoul, for example.) Hell's Paradise is definitely very high up at the moment. Definitely in my Top 10. Can't wait for more episodes.

If I Remember correctly Season 4 of Attack on Titan was also animated by Mappa, I think.

in the past samurai tested their new sword by going outside and killing random passer-by, the samurai era was messed up, but also interesting

It's the weakest you've seen so far from mappa but the animation is good. The power scaling make no sense, so I wouldn't take this seriously later in the show. Think of it as a "fantasy-have-fun-dead-brain" type of show, that way u will enjoy no matter what they throw at you.

He's not fluffy enough to be an MIA Hollow. Seems like a good first episode and the plot is intriguing. Be interesting to see if it delivers. Reviews (elsewhere) seem somewhat mixed.

The executioner name is Sagiri, and the name of her clan is Yamada Asaemon. So in Japanese Style it would be Yamada Asaemon Sagiri (surname then first name), but in Occidental Style, it is Sagiri Yamada Asaemon (first name then surname).

I'm pretty sure it was the fault of the "skip intro" button. Cuz there wasn't a cut on Luke there, and Luke usually uses that button. There is about 100 seconds missing after the opening, so I'd guess the website screwed up the timing of the button.

I wonder what were the two animes that didn't click with you. Maybe Steins;Gate (it wasn't the best anime for Twitch watch along and zero tested your patience with Okabe, shame since it is my fav (1st season better tho)), not quite sure what is the other one (probably something I didn't watch on Twitch). You probably will not out right say them.

It's really not that great after the first two episodes yes. Not bad, but not top tier animation, especially compared to the other mappa productions this year. Art direction is great though.

I think Steins;Gate is very possible, but only the second version, I remember he complained quite a bit on Okabe there.
