Also, the comparison between Geto's cursed manipulation and Megumi 10 shadows, the difference is that with curse manipulation, the curse is still its own provider of cursed energy, just being controlled, unlike 10 Shadows, which is Shikigami summoned from the users shadow, feeding off the users cursed energy, hence what the old guy said before fighting Geto last ep

Toji and Maki have similar Heavenly Pacts, in which their cursed energy is limited (or in Toji’s case, completely removed) and in return they are both gifted with superhuman physical prowess. They are cousins after all, so it must run in the family. Mechamaru is the other person we know who has a Pact as well, but in his case his body is weak and frail but in return he is given cursed energy capable of being controlled from very long distances.

Toji Fushiguro does not have a "heavy pact" but a "heavenly pact". It makes him super strong at the cost of not having any cursed energy, despite being from a family of curse users. So it is the same or at least a similar pact, that Maki was born with. Another character we know that was born with a heavenly pact is Mechamaru (the robot dude that fought Panda at the exchange event). But Mechamarus pact works the opposite: He was born with a very weak body, but in exchange has quite a lot of curse power, or at least an insane range. We saw him control his robot form via cursed energy, despite being very far away from the battlefield (maybe even all the way home in Kyoto). So a heavenly pact is like a deal with the devil that takes something away from you but empowers something else. The catch being that you are born with it and thus cannot choose the conditions (We saw both Maki and Mechamaru suffer from their heavenly pact as Maki was seen as worthless and Mechamaru basically being dissabled).

Toji and Yuuji are not similar, Yuuji still has cursed energy flowing in him, the other person that is like Toji is Maki (they're cousins) and they both have little cursed energy (zero in Toji's case) so they were gifted physical powers and a Heavenly Pact. So yes that's what's making him completely invisible, but him carrying around the cursed weapons is what makes him not invisible so he has to hide his weapons. Another thing is that Gojo wasn't that strong since he was still a highschooler learning about his technique

17:16 - heavenly pact, not heavy pact. "Heavenly Restrictions [pacts] are described as bindings placed on a sorcerer's body when they are born. These bindings usually refer to limitations on the human body that the person receives improved capabilities in a different capacity in exchange. For example, a Heavenly Restriction can cause a sorcerer born with low cursed energy to be physically gifted. Vise versa can also occur, sorcerers with high cursed energy can be born with exceptionally weak bodies." Mechamaru from season 1, Maki, and Fushi's dad have pacts.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it yet but I'll do it regardless. After ep 5 there will be a "break" so to say. Ep 6 will continue on august 31st. In those 3 weeks we will get recap episodes. So on the 10th there will be the recap of season 1 and on the 17th season 2 (ep1 - 5) as well as from the movie. On the 24th there will be nothing I believe and then it continues with ep 6 on the 31st. Just a heads up if you want to throw in something else in that time.

You’ve focused so much on yuji (understandable, mc and all) but in doing so you’ve forgotten a lot of the other characters abilities/similarities. Cursed weapons/physical strength = toji/maki both zenin clan. Also the robot lol

Heavenly Pact comes in different form. We know of 3 people at this point. Mechamaru (Robot dude), able to use curse technique from very far away without consuming more energy in exchange for the ability to not walk under the sun & missing limbs. Maki Zenin & Toji Fushiguro have the same heavenly pact whereby Both have ZERO curse energy in exchange FOR Superhuman PHYSICAL strength. Every human has curse energy, only those that have a certain level can see curse whereas those that can't only has LOW curse energy. But the reason why Toji can see curse & interact is because his five senses are so much better that it sort of gives him a sixth sense. Whereas Maki at this point in the series has yet to reach that state which is why she needs the glasses. Itadori has supernatural strength but for a different reason (spoiler so I won't say) & he has decent amount of curse energy too so he can see curse.

No, not unknown. Her sister mentioned it in the games, so I've already come to this conclusion before watching this reaction cuz, at this point, we know he has 15 years of training over Maki. Gojo was probably ~10 years old when Toji was spotted behind him, and Toji looked hella adult. So, like cursed energy, Maki is just a second year who hasn't grown to that potential yet. I don't read manga

Toji won the first fight because he was well-prepared. He knew Satoru Gojo's abilities. He knew he can not win if he didn't make a good plan and be patient. That is why he put out the fake bounty to drain Satoru's energy so that Satoru will put down his guard at the last minute. Satoru's Infiniti can not be activated all the time when he was young. And he was too cocky which made him blind to those cunning opponents. This was a huge lesson for him and made him stronger now.
