not sure if it's the vod or something, but sometimes the video gets blurry like the camera is going out of focus, but it applies to the entire video. For example, at 8 min 26 sec or around 10 min mark (9:50 exactly) when you are talking about baths. I can click back and repro it, so it's not my connection or anything

The movie is absolutely not "between seasons 1 and 2." Episode 25 and Deja Vu are after Steins;Gate 0.

I still think he shoulve gone with the chronological order instead of the release order... Still im glad he reacted to this anime and now i hope he reacts to Made in Abyss and NGNL soon

He's doing Steins gate 0 next week, and the 3 weeks after (6*4=24). Then there will be a poll to vote for the new anime to replace steins gate.

2023-04-25 08:00:36 I'm not gonna say too much, I haven't seen SG 0 yet despite having seen SG like 15 times and it being in my top 3 anime. I do however know why it exists and what "story" it tells. I'm gonna be blunt, people who suggest the chronological order, aren't in the right, it's not even quite "preference" at that point. I love this story SO MUCH, but going: 22>23b>SG 0 > 23 24 25 ova movie is just asking to kill all momentum. I do think it's interesting to watch something in chronological order, but it can ruin reveals and the like, think stars wars big "I am your" reveal, you'd know that already if you watched episodes 1 2 3, before 4 5 6. Made in abyss and ngnl have to be done on youtube/patreon. Soooo we'll be waiting a lil bit. But I can't wait for MIA especially :)

Wondering if you know that you need to watch an alternate version of episode 23 called episode 23(β) before watching Steins;Gate0 otherwise it won't make sense. I was really confused when I first tried to watch Steins;Gate0 without knowing about it.

Someone said this is canon because this is a different timeline than 0, but it doesn’t work like that haha, it’s not canon because it’s not from the VN, plus the movie contradicts the whole Suzuha thing anyway which is also the same timeline, but the movie is technically also not canon

Also don’t get me wrong, I love the movie I thought it was good, but even if you don’t like the fact that it wasn’t in the vn and argue that it’s just anime canon, it only is there contradictions like I mentioned in the previous comment, but you can’t ignore the fact that the movie breaks the laws of time travel that was established in the of show and vn, headcanon maybe, which is totally fine I don’t blame you, but it’s not even anime canon in that sense, however great movie and glad it was reacted to regardless if it was canon or not

People that think the Movie or 0 are worth considering Canon probably also think that about Disney Star Wars lol. I really don't want to hate, but there are way too many Problems with those Additions to even count them. Sometimes you should just stay away from making unneeded Continuations to print more Money, most of the Time they will crumble the Moment someone starts giving the Plot some Thought. I was so hyped for the Movie and 0, I really was. But I was even more disappointed in how much Nostalgia Baiting and Fanservice they were. Nothing against Fanservice if it serves a Purpose. But the Authors clearly jumped at anything they could vaguely consider open to Interpretation in Order to revolve their Story about it, when a) it was not needed and b) screws with established Canon from the Original. I'll just stay with the original Steins;Gate. The Movie has no Soul and 0 adds nothing that's not unimaginative or unhelpful. S;G Will forever keep the Place it deserves, and I hope 0 will not artificially be elevated to the same Level just because People desperate for more consume it greedily.

Don't know about the movie but saying Stein's Gate 0 isn't canon is more like saying star wars empire strikes back isn't canon. The VN was released in 2015 and probably was in development since 2012 or 2013. It was well received and won awards. The anime adaptation aside, it feels more like you're personally unhappy with the adaptation's direction or the concept. But just because you're dissatisfied doesn't mean that the rest of the audience has to share your opinion to arrive at some greater good for the fandom, nor does it disallow 5pb from releasing sequels to their own franchises. 🤔

You missed the hooded figure two times in a row in the movie because you were looking at the chat. I wish you watched this anime outside of Twitch. You will appreciate the anime more and understand it better. This is the worst anime to watch on Twitch since it requires your undivided attention. You missed like one-third of the anime in what you watched so far by interacting with Twitch chat. I want to time leap back to the past and send D-mails to everyone voting for Steins; Gate watch along and make it a YouTube reaction rather than a Twitch reaction.
