I find Violet Evergarden extremely overrated. It's beautiful, but it's boring af. I recommend watching "Angel Beats", "Ano Hana" or "Toradora" if you're looking for well-written drama, experiences that you won't ever forget. :) But it's ok, Violet Evergarden is a pretty small anime. Just my opinion, though.

Would you please watch 'sword of the stranger', one of the most underrated samurai-movies of all time? I absolutely love this movie and I'll bring this up until you watch it. 😁 I'm very persistent.

This was my first anime. Definitely one of my favorites, it is so beautiful and without a doubt it has my favorite OST. Watching the ending was so heartwarming. You should watch the anime some day, but be ready to cry **a lot**.

Violet Evergarden is incredible. It's about a former soldier after a major war ends. She doesn't know how to integrate into society or be anything other than a soldier. Through a job as a letter writer she learns about different types of love like paternal, fraternal, and romantic and learns to be a human again instead of just a weapon. It is one of the most emotional animes you can watch.

I'm 55 years old, ex military and no media had ever made me cry until Violet Evergarden. This show broke me. After watching this show I stated crying at most emotional shows. It's beautiful, breathtaking and sad. It is one of the best series I have ever seen in any type of media.

Yeah, after watching AirTV, I absolutely REFUSE to watch any anime that going to make me cry. I bawled for half an hour after that show ended and I've refused to ever watch it or anything like it again. That's why I stick with happy anime like Date a Live or Ya Boy Kongming or anime that is dark but won't make me cry like Overlord or Death Note. You should really check out some happy anime.

While nothing has surpassed Banana Fish for me in terms of ugly crying, I must say Violet Evergarden has been one of the most emotional animes I've ever watched. I've cried a lot watching it but it's one of those animes that really make you appreciate the beauty and melancholy of life.

I think you should definitely check out the opening to Vivy: Flourite Eye's Song, it's honestly one of my favorite anime openings and the anime itself is, in my opinion, one of the best anime originals ever.

Rascal Does not dream of bunny sempai is amazing. 12 episodes and a movie. movie is a tear jerker. new season coming too.

If you're going to watch Violet Evergarden, I think it would fit as a stream watch-along. It's more of a sit back and experience type of anime, than reacting slowly over time.

I saw someone else already recommended this but I want to recommend ’Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai’ ! It is mysterious and interesting it really makes you think and I think you’d really enjoy it!
