Luke, I really want you to try to watch a classic show called Crest of the Stars. It's amazing. Both Crest of the Stars and it's sequel Banner of the stars are space opera type sci-fi. It's an older anime by about 30 years but it's so good.

Just because there was the consideration of when to watch the movies: imo it would make the most sense to watch the movie AFTER finishing Steins;Gate 0 instead of inbetween. While it technically doesn´t really matter due to how time works in that series, having the knowledge from both seasons makes the events a little easier to grasp. (i´d love to get more into detail on why that is, but that would be at least vague, if not even major spoilers i think) EDIT-NOTE: i haven´t fully watched the VoD's yet, the short discussion just came up in the vod that i´m watching as i type this comment. So maybe that has already been discussed in the vod/the next vod which i haven´t fully watched yet)

Also I don’t think people understand foreshadowing. Some people in your chat constantly spoil. As soon as something is hinted toward that will be revealed later chat feels the need point it out or spam the rundown instead of letting the show explain it at the right moment. I get you avoid chat spoilers as much as possible just blows my mind.

the hilarious thing is that the visual novel is actually a dating simulator. One of the possible endings is to end up with girl rukako. the ending image for that is rukako holding a baby

I think the chat was talking about you missing a dialogue about Okabe inventing the Divergence Meter in the future. Okabe from the current timeline said to Suzaha that whoever invented the Divergence Meter has good taste and Suzaha in reply tells him that he is the one who invented it in the future. I think that's pretty significant but at the time of that dialogue, you were looking somewhere else. I think that's why everyone was saying in the chat you need to go back and you missed something important. Well, you are watching it on Twitch so it's understandable you will miss a few things here and there. That is exactly why I recommended not to react to Steins; Gate in Twitch.
