I'm glad that you've seen this series and enjoyed it as much as you did. I would recommend as a contender for follow-up Bungo Stray Dogs. It has really good characterization, amazing abilities with awesome fight scenes, and has a lot of interesting and dark elements to it, especially in later seasons.

for ur next anime on stream u should try re zero, ik load of people recommended it for the main channel, but it will probably not be the choosen anime, so u should definitly do it on stream, if u liked reincarnated as a slime u will love this anime, its more darker and has less of fights but its an epic one for sure

I always wondered what was Milim going to do I'd Veldora didn't show up to block her punch? No way she knew he was coming and Rimuru said he was done for if that him so....what was her plan? Pull her punch at the last second or slightly miss Rimuru. He got lucky.

Haha, now you have to suffer like the rest of us! :D So glad you ended up enjoying the show. It's such a perfect mix of wholesome, serious and action. And honestly, the SFX work helps carry it a lot, it's among the very best of all anime I've seen. It adds so much weight and pressure to all the attacks. That said, there might still be series upcoming that will fit you even better. For isekai series I think Re:Zero would top this one for you.

Honestly, anime rarely seem to make it to the actual end of the story. If you want more then you read the manga, and if you want all of it then you read the novels. I kinda want you to watch "Kumo Desu Ga, Nani Ka?" (So I'm a Spider, So What?). It's often compared to slime for it's similar start and that they aren't human anymore, but it's not as lighthearted. First anime that drove me to read the manga, and when I caught up to the manga I just couldn't wait and read the novels and loved it. (Still waiting for the last volume to get translated next fall).

Season 3 is announced for next year, unlike some anime which do just drop off without anything else. I would recommend the light novels over the manga as that is the source for the anime (there are differences) if you wanted to get ahead on the story.

This was the worst with Overlord. It seemed to just be dropped for years before the recent season, I hope we don't have to wait as long for the next. Then again, as I don't care for Manga or novels these days, I have no idea how for ahead they are.

Over all this final batch of episodes is quite great, the SFX are fantastic, the animations great ... the fights awesome. We get to see what Shuna can do when serious, how much Beni was boosted by his gift. we even get to se Alvis go ham which was a treat. Walpurgis as a whole was great. That said there are 2 things I am disappointed they cut out in the anime In the novel the battle starts with Soka - Gabirus sister and her team assassinating Caymans army field officers throwing the army into chaos by destroying the chain of command in the middle just before the orcs trap them. Would have loved for her and her team to have a moment of Awesom as well instead of just a slide. The second I can understand why was cut but is a let down for me still The Demon Lords deploy their own ways on how to evaluate and test one another and the newer guys. For exam Guy is releasing his energy in a way to make others think he cant control it making them underestimate him ... if you cant see through that you are trash in his eye, if you realize its fake but cant tell much more you have some potential but not really that interesting. If you can see beyond that now you caught his attention the giant Draggul ballistically force intimidating people whit his massive aura - if that makes you scared your a small fry, if not you pass the vampires outside of having a stand in the female Valentine is also constantly changing the wavelength and amount she is releasing, making you think you are wrong when you notice it ... only if you have the skill to see beyond that do you basically pass Deeno the sleepy guy seems open but he blocks you if you try to analyze him, giving him a read on your level of skill since this is all told in Rimurus thoughts I understand why they cut it. But I cant really call it perfect since the anime keeps doing thinks that sour the taste for me as a fan of the series Yamza just showing off his doppelganger like that instead of using it to ambush Alvis while she is locked in combat with him, makes no sense for his character - and its what he does in the novel. The clowns marching in the middle of Claymans army also just does not make sense at all ... they dont operate like that, also they stay in the shadows to keep as low profile In addition if they were there to get to the forest where they fight they would have to break out of the trap, meaning they would have to defeat or even kill some of the Orcs or other forces keeping Clamans men trapped, but thats never brought up .. there is also no reason for Phobio to proclaim he smells them when all he has to do is point at them since they are marching right out in the middle And if they were there Benimaru would have confronted them differently since he would not just let them escape - this is only an issue because the anime had them marching in the middle of the army, in the novel they are observing things from the forest hidden away, which is why Phobio smells them out. the biggest issue I have is the ending ... season 3 will basically have to retcon the ending away or they will change a lot of the beginning of volume 7 since they flipped Rimurus return on its head ... The only people in the town of the main cast to great him on his return was Diablo and Rigurd ... Diablo was there to substitute Veldora as the town protector while the dweeb went to Rimuru for his manga fix. and Because Diablo was finished with the first part of his plan to take over Farmus. Shuna, Hakuro and Soei were still sifting through things in Claymans castle, while Benimaru, Gabiru the Beastketeers adn the orcs were scleaning up after the battle and organizing the prisoners for work Benimaru, Geld, Soei and Shuna and partly Gobta could make it back by using spatial motion but for Beni that would mean aabandoing the rest of the army which he would not do Gabiru and his lot it would take a more than a day to get back ... and the ground army 3 or more especially with prisoners so again them being there would mean they abandoned their men ... which is out of character Soei and Shuna - since they did not know how long walpurgis would take would have not abandoned the duty to investigate Claymans base ...

Next time i hope SAO Progressive gets nominated for the movie interlude. I think that if he wants to watch SAO that just keeping to Progressive and S1 will be a better choice than watching the whole series.

again about Shion, it s not stated but after she got revived she got a skill thaat makes her essentially immortal, her soul is separate or whatever, meaning she cant be controlled like that lmao. Thus she felt nothing and the spell Clayman tried failed lol

It's explained in the book the male lizard men looked like Gabiru and the females looked like Soka. The anime just disregards that and says some males look like Soka. So that's why it's never explained because the reason was removed. Actually, your chat pointed it out a few times but got shot down because the anime has males turn human as well. Not that I'm convinced you read these comments but there you go.
