Longer name titles like this usually mean the source material is a Light Novel rather than a manga or an original anime. 'Danmachi' is a portmanteau of the Japanese spelling of the show: Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka. You see those a lot, there's a cute romance manga called Tonikaku Kawaii that gets shortened to Tonikawa, or Tsukimichi which is short for Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu

Correcto mundo! Right on the dot. It's similar in vibe to slime with more epic fights and you get to see the mc mature and grow. The show did get darker, much more. Brutal in fact. It would be a good replacement, but the current season is still ongoing.

Op4 my favorite, also for ur replacement for slime it should be between mushoku tensei, rezero,overlord, danmachi

technically there is a 6th one but it isnt part of the main story cause its s1 but from a perspective of a different character

for this anime summary without spoiling, its mainly good bar season 3 its still twitch safe but more cheecky than slime for sure like if slime was a 1 and dxd was a 10 i would put it at a four. Very good regardless just a nice adventure fantasy anime

"Danmachi" is it's shortened japanese name. Just as "Tensura" is the shortened name for "That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime".
