While the usual pattern in anime is to have a new opening and ending for each "cours" (typically 11-13 episodes), some anime break that pattern — as you noted, Chainsaw man had a different ending for each episode, Bocchi had multiple endings, and Bakemonogatari had a different opening for each of several plotlines during its run.

You were right about Bocchi being an anime that will bring a tear to your eye, but it's also hilarious and heart-warming. As you can tell from the openings and endings, they put a lot of effort into the music for this show; they also put an equal amount of effort into the animation. This anime is a labor of love on the part of it's creators, which is why so many people are saying it's an Anime-of-the-Year contender or one of their favorites! You will NOT regret watching this, ESPECIALLY as a Bass player and appreciator!

If you want music from a darker series to react to, give Moriarty the Patriot's openings a listen. If you want more JUNNA, try Fena: Pirate Princess (an OK anime with a brilliant opening). You might also try Trigun and Trigun:Stampede as a study in contrasts.

Kessoku Band has 14 songs available on Youtube right now, I love them all. The show is about the pink haired girl, who happens to have horrible social anxiety, joining a band and living her dream, but she keeps having pessimistic delusions, which are all animated differently. The show is incredible.

To answer your question, yes keisoku band is a band formed for the anime and is comprised of the main cast you see in the opening and endings. Another anime that does something similar is K-on which is absolutely wholesome and I suggest you react to the openings and endings because they are all very good.

Kessoku Band is the name of the girls' band in the show, although the voice actors do actually sing all the songs. The lead vocalist is the red-haired guitar player Kita, who also performs the OP and first ED. The second ED is sung by the blue-haired bass player Ryo, the third ED is by the yellow-haired drummer Nijika, and Bocchi sings at the end of the final episode (which doesn't have a regular ED).

Bocchi the Rock is of a so called "Slice of Life" genre where we literally follow a slice of a characters every day life. Most of the time in Slice of Life animes nothing really happens and the anime isn't really trying to be emotional or packed with action etc, but instead tries to be realistic on how that normal random persons life would look like. Some people find this genre boring, some find it relaxing, and for some it's a coping mechanism if their life is in a bad place right now and get hope from it that it can get better, as the life shown in Slice of Lifes is utterly realistic and possible/achievable

This anime came out of nowhere to become arguably the best anime of 2022, or at least for the fall season for a lot of people. Best comedy/slice of life anime in years. Some of Kessoku Bands songs are in the anime, the vocalist is the VA for the red headed main character. More of their songs will probably be in the show if it gets a season 2. It wouldn't ruin anything for the anime if you react to all of Kessoku Band's music. You would definitely need them to be Patreon only though.

Kessoku Band is the name of the band in the anime itself, multiple japanese music composers and artists contribute to the songs of that band, and even some of the songs are sung by the voice actors. There is even an entire album available to listen in youtube/spotify... from Kessoku Band which contains all the songs from the anime. There are additional great songs that you didn't react to that are played during the anime itslef! I really reccommend this anime, I'm not a huge fan of slice of life anime, but this one is 100% worth the watch

All the songs here are done by the band they make in the show, so since you like them, you will like the show. Not only are the instrumentals and vocals great, but I looked into the lyrics of some songs and those are great too. Aside from the music, the animation is also incredibly creative, often switching artstyle or even medium for great comedic effect.

I’ve been waiting for this reaction since the anime started! As a channel dedicated to music reactions, this was 100% THE anime to react to. The anime is so amazingly good, and the studio behind this anime started it as a full-on passion project from the manga its based on. The animation is fluid, all the instruments are played correctly, and yes, all the songs are FROM the in-anime band “Kessoku Band.” The vocals of the 3 EDs are also sung by different members of the band! There’s a FULL album of theirs released on all streaming platforms but I’d recommend waiting to listen to it until after watching the anime to hear them for the first time in the show FIRST. Bocchi The Rock was so good that, in terms of popularity, it was able to compete with the likes of Chainsaw Man that was airing at the same time as it! 10000000% pls watch this anime. Anyone who loves rock music, the music industry, or just playing an instrument will fall in love with this show GUARANTEED. It’s my second favorite anime of all time!

the band, is the band in the anime and they have a full album too what youve listened to in less than half of the songs and the short versions to.... i highly recommend watching this show everybody whose watched have instantly fallen in love with it and these aint even their best songs :) its also more popular than chainsaw man in japan if that gives you any idea how good it actually is lol

This is my second favorite slice of life anime of all time. It's so relatable to me because I'm an introvert, and the main character is too. It's a genuinely hilarious show and I had so much fun watching it, highly highly recommend!! And yes, the band that plays all the music for the show is the band that's formed in the show and that the show is about! I think you would like it a lot

Bocchi is easily a Top 10 anime of 2022. And we got AOT Season 4 Part 2, Chainsaw Man, and Spy x Family in 2022, so that list is pretty elite.

This anime took everyone by surprise in the fall. the dvds have sold way more then chainsaw man (they aired at the same time). this one kinda hit home since bocchi has crippling social anxiety,and my youngest daughter has been going through something similar lately.

If you like the Opening and Ending of Bocchi you should definitly react to the Openings and Endings of K-On to. It have a very similar topic like Bocchi (both are about High school girls playing in a band) but in my opinion K-On is better than Bocchi.

BOCCHI THE ROCK!! everything you presume about this show is correct and its even more. its not sad but it might make you shed happy tears:) its comedy/music focused very down to earth with some of the most experimental animation youll ever see... and the relatability factor is off the charts! you will see yourself in this anime from episode 1... and it might hurt your soul in the best possible way lol the music gets better and better i have the full album on spotify and im yet to get bored of it... its a true masterpiece

Keisoku band is a real band who do music for this anime. They were a new band! And yes, this anime is about just that! A new band formed by chance that aspires to hit it big. The show is amazing. A hidden gem of 2022. I definitely recommend it, as this would be a change of pace.

He's discovering slice of life anime. No big fight scenes, no end of world crisis, just the day to day lives of the characters with a bit of light drama and comedy for spice. It's rather soul soothing.

The entire music is from the band of the anime, this anime is not sad but give you the feeling about how the band grows and you a re happy or sad for them, if you are gonna reaction to this maybe the better space is here in patreon because the copy on YouTube and Twitch can hit hard, but this is one of my favorite animes, you are not gonna regret about this

Yass, watch it. In Japanese bocchi means someone who is always alone. The music is all great, I listen to album at least once a week. (Which you should also react to). There is no time you would cry in this masterpiece. Just waiting for s2 to be announced

I think you'd really like this one, it's such an amazing love letter to music and band culture. It left enough of an impression on me that when I went to Japan(just came back) I visited the neighbourhood where it takes place. And I gotta say the attention to detail in the show is insane, I recognised so many places from the show. Same goes for the rest of the show as well, everyone involved really poured their heart and soul into this one.

The catch about bocchi the rock music is that every song is written by a famous rock music composer, most being members of their own rock band, amazing stuff, personally I've been a fan of Tricot since 2014 and it was immediately obvious the vocalist wrote a song for bocchi (2nd ending).

Give yourself the favor and watch this series. The music is amazing, the feeling wholesome and oh my god, the animations when Bocchis band is on stage are insane. Every movement, every chord is on point. And its so relatable, because Bocchi is a hardcore introvert who tries to come out, but really struggles with it. And the scenes that play in her head when she is thinking too much about a situation are so funny, and on the same time they hit so deep. Even my extroverted friends could relate with her in several things. The graphics are cute, but the emotions about social anxiety hit deep. But all of this in a wholesome story. My absolute favourite from last year (even more than Chainsaw Man or CP-Edgerunners).

If you yourself or someone you know has ever suffered from severe social anxiety and you either never understood it or want to see a very real representation of someone struggling to come out their she'll and overcoming some very real introvertism them please watch this as it is a 10/10 story about a very self imprisoned girl who gets asked to play in a band and grows as a person and it's absolutely incredible to watch

I binged Bocchi. It was really REALLY good. I very much enjoyed watching it. It reminded me of K-On that I also enjoyed every episode. If you do have the chance, I recommend watching Bocchi the Rock. It was very comical and very down to earth.

Recommendations will vary based on the generation of the viewer. I grew up with K-On and would recommend that before watching this. From what I understand, Bocchi the Rock is the spirit animal of K-On. Personally I have not seen Bocchi but I loved K-On, and still recognize EVERY song of it I hear in any playlist, dance anime in public, or karaoke session. I would recommend watching all the K-On content first, then graduate to Bocchi.

I love this anime. It's comedy, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me it made them cry. The lyrics to these songs are also very good.

I highly recommend this anime. It will probably not make you cry. I think the saddest part is the first few minutes of the show. Bocchi The Rock came out of nowhere. This is the genre of Cute girls doing cute things. That said this anime tops Chainsaw man on most lists as well as many other high power shows from last year. Kessoku Band is the name of the band in the anime as well as in real life.
