its a good show and yes very standard shonen anime with a lot of action and power of friendship but still good, though before starting this one I'd recommend going through a few shorter ones cause this one will take a while to finish. one anime that is longer than most but still acceptable as well as a must watch is Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood

There's a total of 26 openings of Fairy Tail if you were gonna watch all of them. I enjoy every one of them, and it's one of my top animes on my list (and I have a big list). I highly recommend you give this anime a shot cause you definitely won't regret it.

Fairy Tail is one of those OG classics. It gets a lot of hate and mixed reactions but honestly I enjoyed it more than the big 3 or even some other higher ranked shows. It's the perfect example of a show where you can just turn off your brain and enjoy what's happening on your screen. Characters are mostly likeable and have a decent amount of development during the series. Animation style changes 3 times since it was done by multiple different studios so it starts weaker but gets better later on. Also eargasm since Fairy Tail has one of the greatest OST collections. 🙏

For me, it took me awhile for Fairy Tail to start getting good. It's quite the commitment if you decide to watch it lol I see why people hate on it but in the end I really enjoyed it, the soundtrack for the fights in the show really pump you up. I think some character themes or fighting themes are better than the openings/endings of the anime lol

Fairy Tail is totally in the same category as dragonball. You watch it for the fights. The show has hundreds of episodes, there is a lot of fanservice sprinkled through and the show doesn't completely take itself seriously. It's a happy go lucky show. I just thought up a recommendation....Terraformars. Check that out. Giant cockroach men vs super humans with animal abilities.

I'm always baffled by how many people like Fairy Tail. I wish I could get all the time I wasted on it back. So many better anime to watch out there. Even in the battle shounen sphere.

I think that Fairy Tail OSTs SOOO much better than its OPs, it has unique style, you'll never mixed it with anything else

I loved this anime! Still do. The only problem I ever had with it was how much fan service there was. Other than that 10/10!
