Luke, first, I adore your Nan! And second, has anybody sent you a list of all the songs that are currently in the Eras Tour plus a video link to the different chants that we do? I know that you really want to be part of all of it when you go to the concert and we really want you to have the most amazing experience while you're there so let us know if we can send you those things along with bracelets so you guys will have such a great time next month! PS- I've been trying to tell you that you can get a UPS mailbox at any UPS Store in the world and it's inexpensive and you can receive packages there so that would be something to try for everyone to send you stuff! PPS- since you know how supportive and loving we are as a community, if you're going to do those amazing things, why don't you just let us know! You could just make a couple minute video that you put on YouTube, saying "hey guys I'm about to do this" or "hey guys I got to do that" or "what do you think about Travis going on stage?" and you know you'll have a huge conversation that's supportive and who gives a s*** and is really happy! (and f*** those pretend friends) 🖤

Oh, I HAVE to tell you about the hand squeeze! Jimmy Fallon's mom died, and he took some time off to recover, and when he came back, they hadn't really had anyone solidly booked because they didn't know how long it would take. He found out Taylor was in their city so he called her up and asked her on, and she sang this song. Either she knew ahead of time or it was an incredible coincidence, but Fallon told the story about how when he was a kid and his mom walked to the store with him, he was getting to old, he said, for demonstrative affection. So his mom used to squeeze his hand three times as a secret code for 'I love you.' Taylor sang New Year's Day, with the 'squeeze my hand three times in the back of the taxi' line and when she finished Jimmy gave her a hug that lasted FOREVER. I can't even IMAGINE what that felt like for him. That's who Taylor is, man. You see how for Eras they had to REALLY step it up to come anywhere close to Rep Tour's version of Don't Blame Me! Ha, Taylor sits down at the piano and I remember what comes next and Luke is just going to be a puddle after this part! *hugs* I'm SO SORRY you won't get Long Live, but the TTPD set will hopefully make up for it in August.

I think Luke needs to listen to the entire Long Live song without the mashup. I love this version but my favorite part of the song isn't in this version. But I still love it both ways. And you were right Luke, that was the most perfect place to end todays video. It was awesome.

I took my 70+ year old step-mom to the Tampa show with me. I knew I’d have an emotional time. I was so glad I took her. She tells everyone that was the best concert she’s ever been to. It was amazing! I’ll never regret taking her over anyone else. And she’s a superstar in her grandkids eyes (my step brother’s kids) we got them memorabilia from the show. And video of her dancing and shaking it off… The memories are incredible.

And I’ve loved getting to know the kind of person you are. And you hold on tightly to what matters most to you. You haven’t compromised your morals to get where you are. You’re talented in a different way. You’re talented at making people laugh, at articulating what other people can’t, at highlighting the joy around you and making others realize the joy around them. You’re truly a reminder to love what you have fiercely, to appreciate the moment that you’re living in, and to have the hope and the drive to get to where you want to be. I say this often, that Taylor Swift is a once in a lifetime artist and human being. But I think we all are, in our own way. Because you are absolutely a once in a lifetime human being. And I’m just thankful to be alive during the same time both of you are so that I can see it (because there have been more times than I can count this past year when I almost wasn’t). I hope you know that you are valued, loved, and appreciated.
