I watched the first 2 season of this and believe me, it's not worth the interest lol The story and characters are soooo uninterest. I really don't care if it gets better s3 onwards, the first 2 are already really bad and got really famous bc people find the butter attractive, that's literally it. I have to give it to it tho, it has 2 of the most prominent visual kei bands in the openings (Op1 and Op3 SiD and Op2 the GazettE) Hopefully you can react any other time to the GazettE, this song is nothing like their usual music and I can tell they hated collaborating with anime in the end since they didn't do it anymore lol

I love Black Butler so much. I love the humour in it and so many great characters! From the openings, you see nothing of the mad household staff but then, Sebastian really is one hell of a Butler!

the little tune you thought was code geass sounded more like the first opening of Death Note. It might be the same band? It would've been around the same time period that they were released. The Book Of Circus arc came out YEARS after the original two seasons, so that's why the animation is so much cleaner, the music so much more powerful.

Black Butler is a dynamic story. There is a lot of flashback but if you can follow it, it's an interesting story line. It is very dark as well.

If you ever wanna check it ot, tehre is a thing to know: The second half of season 1 and all of season two are complete Anime originals and most people agree that they are... not good. Season 3 and four, Book of Circuas and the Public School Arc are actually based on the Manga and _much_ better

Started watching Black Butler years ago and got halfway through season two before just completely dropping this anime. I decided to give it a chance again with this new season and I've found it quite enjoyable to watch. Honestly the only thing that kept my interest in this series is Ciel cause of his personality

I don't recommend watching this anime. This isn't a simple case of "the manga was better." The Black Butler anime was a straight-up insult to the manga. It goes completely non-canon and just starts making stuff up. 3/10 I do not recommend. Also, while there's nothing explicit, it's pretty sus with little boys which is my biggest issue. The art is fantastic tho.

Basically, the MC is a private investigator for the queen in 1880s England. The MC solves some cases and starts to uncover some dark secrets. The ending is super bitter-sweet, and is probably the most satisfying ending to any anime I have seen As for why there were a bunch of butlers fighting. That's also a bit of a spoiler. You're just going to have to watch it to find out iirc the part with the circus is a movie. I haven't seen the show in a long time, so I might be wrong about that I hope BB win an anime tournament one of these days. it's an awesome anime, and you would probably really enjoy it

no,its no eechi just has dark themes, also if this anime ends up being chosen as the next one to be watched just start from book of circus (also known as season 3) as the first two seasons aren't a very good adaption( second one is not even canon), you really aren't missing much if you skip them
