It is finally back. Who would have thought that the panties rudy stole early one are gonna be so vital to the story XD What a good story, we started following a little perverted rudy who then got to go on a journey of a lifetime and now finally getting to start a family. It was hard to notice there but when Rudy opened up the shrine to his Goddess Roxy and her holy relic he put a new holy relic in the shrine too. A relic that bespoke a new Goddess in his life, it isn't hard to figure out who it belongs to, it's also not hard to figure out what the new Holy relic is too since they give a butt ton of clues to it.

I remembered that people talked about eminence in shadow (2022) as it was a frist truck-kun appearance. it is as far from truth as it can be, as even Mushoku Tensei is older than that. Even in konosuba (2016) there was a mock of the original truck-kun appearance. The first appearance was either in Captain Atom (around 1960-1980), or Magical Princess Minky Momo (1982) By the time eminence in shadows existed as anime, the truck-kun already had its own lore.

Rudeus has worked as an adventurer for a while now while being incredibly frugal. He's got quite of a bit of cash at this point. The deal was if he could exorcize the house, he could buy it (if I remember correctly) for the cheap price since no one was even interested before now. He thought about asking Zenoba for help but decided he needed to be the one to put up the money for it or else he'd be starting off on the wrong foot.

She walked up with her Dad, right when Paul was tossing the unconscious Rudy in the back of the carriage. She even told Rudy in the cave that she was so scared and surprised that she attacked Paul. From the LN she attacked him with intermediate level wind magic. Paul said anyone less skilled than him would have been killed by it. Her Dad calmed her down and told her that Rudy was being sold to a noble family, and if she wanted to save him she would have to grow stronger. Paul proceeded to play the bad guy for the rest of Sylphie's childhood and she was terrified of him. She tried to befriend Zenith and Lilia and learn as much as she could from them, in the hopes that one of them would give her a clue as to where Rudy had gone. Girl was carrying major trauma even before the mana disaster.

It seems like Rudy hasn't told his friends about Sylphie at all which is weird. She gave back the glasses didn't she? So she should be publicly outed as a girl and not a dude? Or did she end up keeping them for their school life? I honestly can't remember. I hope Rudy introduces her properly to his friends before the wedding though, or that's going to be pretty awkward. I'm also kind of surprised Rudy chose to live by this school, rather than in the kingdom they promised to protect, or instead of going back to their homeland and rebuilding his family home. I mean, I guess this was the cheaper option but it still seems like a random place to set up his base of operations... unless when he's older he plans to become a teacher at school or something? Man wouldn't that be a turn if this entire anime becomes a school anime, but part way through Rudy becomes the teacher dealing with the wild kids antics and creating lesson plans rather than going on adventures and stuff. XD

LN Section: (no spoilers, just context!) This episode was pretty faithful to the source material - the main thing missing was all the improvements Rudeus commissioned after the boys "exorcized" the ghost. You may have spied a Japanese bath in that house if you looked closely enough!

As someone who has watched a ton of anime, I always appreciate the rare times a series with romantic subplots actually makes it all the way through marriage. Even more rare when that marriage isn't some sort of epilog footnote, but an occurrence relatively early like it is here.

Id like to answer 2 questions you did during this episode, 1.- Yes, rudy bought that house, how? well he had a lot of saving from his time as an adventurer, but the case is that, the houses in that city are just insane, the only house that rudy could afford, was that one, he made a "contract" that if he exorcist that house it will get it whit a discount, so thats what he did. 2.- Whit the money he saves when he bought the house, he contracts an artesan who can remodel the house, he make his home into his likes, in tha house there where 2 kitchens but rudy dindt see the point of having 2 kitchens so.. he repurposes the room into an japanese traditional bathroom, so its a masive sauna XD.

Cut content in short form. Ariel says to Rudy he can use her name when he needs it if she can use his. He uses name to buy house. After getting rid of the spirit he hires one of the most well known designers to decorate the house and his inner dialogue and how he talks about modeling the inside is genius and great. The house was all done and finished before Rudy took Sylphie to it. Why do this to me. There is someone who covers cut content without spoiling the show on yt. He is very good I suggest watching that as they cut some good stuff out of this episode

People are saying it's too big compared to the books but it's actually accurate. Rudy is loaded, he was left with all the money he got from traveling the world with Eris and ruijed, and from killing the stray red dragon.

About rudeus mom he knows she is in begarrit continent. But elinalise said paul and roxy are already there and its a year travel. He is waiting to hear back or else he might be traveling for a year for nothing if they already left

"How does Rudy view Roxy?" Rudy attributes his ability to leave the house and grow as a person to Roxy's influence. As such, he basically believes that every good thing that has happened to him was only able to be experienced because Roxy helped him. Because of this, he idolizes her and views her as a source of strength. As for the House: He basically dropped Ariel's name to strike a deal on house. If he is able exorcise/solve whatever is going on, then he can get the place at a reduced price. It still drained a good portion of the funds that he was able to save up from adventuring though. Sylphie wasn't surprised about the house because as soon as he used Ariel's name in negotiations, word got back around to her group. She even said in the book, "If you wanted to keep it secret, you shouldn't have used Ariel's name." Yeah, I'm sad they skipped the renovation chapter from the book. There was a bit of extra info given about the house that isn't important to the story, but is a tad interesting. The inner monologue of the builder was great though. I'll hold off saying anymore there just in case the anime decides to flash back and cover it out of order for some reason. Also, just in case you didn't catch it at the beginning of the episode, he added the bloodstained area of the bedsheet to the altar box.
