So while Kal was visiting I was playing around with this idea of Nyx having a set of familiars. In the original mythology she has a chariot pulled by horses, but aside from me not being much a fan of horses (and yes, the fandom is partially to blame for that), I feel the juxtaposition of a gaggle of tiny cat people associated with a sinister primordial goddess is a fun concept to play with.

Hence a thus far unspecified number of African Black-Footed Cats is Nyx's gang of attendants. Whether they're truly separate entities or just an extension of herself is entirely up in the air and probably irrelevant, but you had better not laugh too much when they start paying attention to you. They're still the most successful mammalian predators on planet earth ;3
