My Christmas Cocaine Cameo! (Patreon)

Years ago, I put together a video called "Christmas Specials That Rule", which despite being one of the most immaculately written and performed retrospective videos in the history of youtube was immediately taken down by the copyright police and has been languishing in obscurity on Dailymotion ever since. Here's a link if you've never seen it. The point being I have long been on record as a lover of Christmas, shows, and the grand tradition of Christmas episodes of those shows.

Well the boyhood dream has finally come true. I got the chance to act in a legit Christmas Special, behold "Christmas With Cocaine Stepdad", a Flint Rat production. My part starts at around 4 minutes in, I'm only in one scene but you should absolutely watch the entire special because it's hilarious. I play "Bimmy", the other sleazy stepdad/ partner in crime/ advice-giving sage to Cocaine Stepdad. 

This scene was originally supposed to take place in a bowling alley but that fell through and we had to improvise by finding a sleazy dive bar. We found one, and improvised the whole scene in one take. It turned out great because we're hilarious. 

You've probably already guess this, but naming my character Bimmy was my idea. I even have a last name for him, but that has yet to be revealed. Always leave something for the sequel. Otherwise you'll just end up having to pull a Palpatine resurrection out of your ass, and I'm better than that. Ha Ha. Topical. Got em. 

Oldschool Jess-heads will no doubt be familiar with the legendary Cody La Rue. Whose name is forever honored and cursed by my smash hit, Butt Chugger. But that's the past, and so is Endless Jess for that matter, that guy sucks. Flint Rat is the future and I'm a serious actor now. Bimmy is the role of a lifetime and i immersed myself in it like Daniel Day Louis killing that guy with a bowling pin.

You've been hearing that Butt Chugger ditty for years but now it's finally time to regale you with the true history of The Grody One, The original Buttchug Brother. 

I've known Cody forever, and while i've spent the last decade completely losing my 20s to the fruitless vanity of being a "youtuber", toiling away at this dehumanizing waste of life like Conan pushing The Wheel of Pain, Cody instead chose to work smart and become an actual filmmaker. Which one of us chose the right path is a matter of perspective... just kidding it's obviously him.

A very long time ago, myself, Cody, and some other close friends put a little group together to try our hands at filmmaking, but in true 20-year-old-college-student fashion we didn't get very much done beyond brainstorming ideas at Tim Hortons. Eventually, life took us crazy kids down different paths. Some of us put more focus on school, or moved to different cities. I, in my infinite hubris, chose the path of becoming a complete fucking asshole recluse putting all my time and dwindling sanity into my toxic sinkhole of a youtube career, growing more bitter and broken every year, as youtubers do. 

But Cody, on the other hand kept the dream alive and stayed focused on the real shit, creating Flint Rat out of the ashes of our old Hortons Crew. The results all these years later speak for themselves. Flint Rat is legit as fuck. I'm constantly in awe of how far beyond me Cody is when it comes to this stuff. 

A couple years back he put together an excellent short horror film called Bloody Sundae, and i had a small role in that one too, as "Hot People Eating Ice Cream #1"

Aside from that, and a few other short things from the old days, I haven't been nearly as involved with Flint Rat as I'd like to be. The last few years i've withdrawn so far into my own horrible world that it became harder and harder to reach out and do stuff with the kickass crew that i started out with, but that's done. I'm old as fuck now and the 2010s are at last mercifully over, so i can be cool and do cool shit again and that's exactly what i intend to do.  

Youtube sucks and i'm very, very much over it, so i'm expanding brother. I'm branching out. A short film here, a something else there. Whatever. I'll be honest, the New Years drugs are kicking in and i'm gonna be not so good with words here in a minute. Anyways the point is i reconnected with my dude and showed up to be in his kickass Christmas special. 

I know it's just a small part in a comedy film, but i'm really glad to be a part of this and excited to do more. What Cody has accomplished with Flint Rat over the years is really inspiring to me and i'm really proud to know the guy. He might not have the following or famous youtuber friends that i have... so in other words he's living my dream!
